Description of Work: They were on time. They cleaned our entire house very quickly and were very friendly. Only minor issue was that one of their workers stepped up on our leather sofa with their shoes on. Otherwise, we would definitely use their service again.

Description of Work: The two ladies who cleaned were half an hour earlier than we expected so we were not ready for them to begin their jobs. They failed to do what we expected and what we had requested of the company. They were definitely friendly and did their job quickly. When I say quickly, I had the feeling that they were so fast that thoroughness was compromised and that we did not receive the service we paid for. They were asked to clean under my sofa cushions and I do not believe that was done. I do not know what product they used but still would have appreciated it if they had accomplished what I requested of them.

Description of Work: I contacted Maid For A Day and left a VM. They called me back within 24 hours, scheduled a consultation and scheduled my first cleaning. They did a great job cleaning and I have no complaints. I have scheduled monthly cleanings with them and feel that the price is right for the service offered.

Description of Work: The owner of this business just called, asking me to edit my previous comments. I told her it was my honest opinion to which she replied she thought it was dishonest. I hung up on her at that point. People can have differing opinions but please do not call me dishonest! The owner did her inspection and thought it looked good. I think, perhaps that she did not look closely. I am not one to complain, hence I only responded when asked by Angie's List, at least a couple months later. In the future I intend to not hire anyone who does not do the cleaning themselves. If the employees needed more time, that would have been OK, with notice and within reason. I have no reason to think this cleaning service cannot improve, but this WAS and IS my honest opinion.

Description of Work: They performed a construction clean of our basement between two parts of a project. They cleaned floors, window sills, stationary tub, toilet, boiler exterior, and so on. They did a wonderful job of cleaning up the basement for the final parts of the install.

Dear member, You hired us for monthly visits. During the last scheduled cleaning you asked us to stop and leave the home, even if it was not finished. We did as we were told. The job that was done was never a surface cleaning. It was always a deep cleaning, attested by the fact that out of the 4 times we cleaned for you 2 of those visits were supervised by Carolyn our office manager. You told us the only reason you called for a cleaning company, and we were the only ones you called as you told Carolyn, was because your girlfriend was tired of coming into your home as it was too filthy for her. The first time the crew was there it took a team of 2, 2 hours to clean a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom apt. That is 4 hours of work completed. The other visits the crews were there for 1 hour, which is 2 hours of work. The scheduled cleaning was on February 27th, not March 13th, your apartment manager let us in to your apt building and let us into your apartment, we did not ask them to do so. You happened to call at the time the crew was already in the home to say you needed to cancel the cleaning for the day. We told you they were already cleaning as your building manager let them in. You mentioned the price was too high, it was not the $135 as you claim. It was much lower than that for monthly services. We did lower your rate in an attempt to keep you as a customer, but you said you would “take it into consideration.” We did not send a crew back to the home as you said you would keep us posted. We are a family run business and your misconstruction of the facts and how you write this report 7 MONTHS LATER, discredits our reputation that we have worked so hard to build. Shame on you for attempting to discredit the hard working people in your community who time and time again give back with Food Drive, Toys For Tots Drives and by our involvement in a national non-profit organization Cleaning For A Reason, where we DONATE cleanings to women going through any type of cancer treatements. Dear Member, Thank you for your grade but we are surprised you were not satisfied as we heard nothing from you. We feel your disappointment and what you are comparing us to comes from the fact that before you moved here you had daily ‘housekeeping’ help, including dishes, laundry, picking up. We explained our service is house ‘cleaning’ not housekeeping. We have, in fact, been to your home 3 times. The initial visit you purchased was a special promotion of $120 for 4 ‘labor’ hours – we send out a team of 2 people – so this means 4 hours was purchased. You were pleased with the initial cleaning and asked for a continuous rate which we gave you according to the work needed in your home. During the following 2 cleanings, you underpaid us both visits, but we chose to let that go. On all occasions while at your home you told the team to clean additional areas which were not part of the agreed cleaning and insisted of them to do so. With your inconsistency at each cleaning, your cheating us of proper payment, and how you try to abuse the hard working cleaners in your home by making them do extra work, we are cancelling your schedule and will not be servicing your home. Dear member, While we normally like to thank our customers for reviews, I find it hard to do that today. Your grades and reasoning of the grades leave a lot of questions for us here in the company, as well as for other members. Timeline of events: 6-5 you called for an estimate, 6-11 the estimate was completed. You were getting other bids and said you would call back. You called on 8-11 to schedule services. On 8-13 your first cleaning was done and was reviewed by Holly, the owner of the company. You had one note for us for the next visit, which was great feedback from you. We thanked you for that. Your next cleaning was done on 9-2 and again Holly went to review the house and found it in great condition with the kitchen floor shining. 9-16 was your next visit. On 9-21 you emailed to cancel services, thanking us for our time, but no other explanation. Now we have this grade from you. How is this fair when we were given no other notice that you were not satisfied with services? Our brochure clearly states 100% satisfaction guaranteed, and if you are not satisfied we will arrange to re-clean the home within 24 hours. We were never given any notice of your dissatisfaction, nor were any of our responses delayed. I find this completely appalling that an individual has forgone the proper way to handle a concern you have. You will find we are the most open company when it comes to speaking with our customers, dealing with cancellations from customers, and in general are a very easy going company to discuss items with. I hope our other grades speak for themselves when customers search our company and see that we love to hear feedback and responses directly to us regarding our service. We hope you learn from this and communicate more effectively with your next service, thus saving another company the disappointment of seeing a non-deserving grade.
