I had to leave a message but the message wasn't returned until two days AFTER the date that I actually wanted them to come out to do the cleaning. Business must be good for them if they don't have the time to return phone calls for new customers.

Description of Work: Deep cleaned our 1100 square foot home top to bottom, including the kitchen windows. The rest of the windows were cleaned by a separate person. This price included a porch, basement and the knotty pine in the upstairs bedroom.

Description of Work: I called maid for a day to set up an appt. They were very prompt and were able to assist me in what I needed. They came out were very friendly, and professional in answering all my questions. I was satisfied and set up an appt. for the following week. They did both bathrooms, my kitchen, floors, vacuum, and all the dusting. My kitchen was not up to par when they arrived, however when they were done it was immaculate. The entire house looked and smelled fabulous.

Description of Work: After getting the initial estimate from Holly, a crew of 2 was sent out to clean. They spent about 3+ hours and completed almost the entire house (approx. 2500 square feet - 4 bedrooms, finished basement, LR, DR kitchen - dusting, vacuuming, hardwood floors and carpets, furniture).

Description of Work: We hired this cleaning company to clean our house before we moved in. We wanted it cleaned from top to bottom - carpets vacuumed, floors mopped, shelves and blinds dusted, kitchen and bathrooms scrubbed including all cabinets, drawers and appliances.

Description of Work: They came to the house to give me an estimate. I told her I only want floors, dusting, and bathrooms cleaned. She said, "This is what we do... " she included cleaning the kitchen (which is already something I do daily), high dusting, and basically the other things I had mentioned. We have a 2000 sq ft home, but I told her I did not want her to go into 2 of the 3 bedrooms we have, and of the 2 small bathrooms-one is not used except for the toilet-- so other than the toilet and approx 3x3 ft floor, that was all they needed to do. The quote for the first cleaning was $196.63; the second cleaning was $143.63 (w/tax). Both then were discounted by 50% due to Angie's coupons. Then for bi-weekly cleaning the price would be $101.71 (w/tax). We had a prior cleaning service. Our house is clean with just 2 adults! I was very surprised at those first prices especially, and there was no explanation given except "that is our pricing", and "you have wood floors mostly so we need to vacuum & mop".

Description of Work: Maid for a Day came out and did a thorough cleaning of my 2 story, 3 bedroom, 2 bath home. Including the sticky kitchen floor. I hate to admit but my house had quite a few cob webs that they took care of and even cleaned my kitchen cabinets and kitchen chairs.

Description of Work: I am a bachelor. I am very lazy when it comes to cleaning. In my life house cleaning means running the dishwasher and taking out the garbage every couple of days. I have a three bedroom house with all wood floors, a lot of woodwork and a dog. I had an incredible amount of dust bunnies, plain old furniture and windowsill dust and well. The bathrooms are not so nice to see as I mentioned I am a bachelor.

Description of Work: Housecleaning included cob-webbing, dusting including picture frames, moving items, vacuuming including edging of walls, thoroughly scrubbing bathrooms top to bottom, wiping kitchen cabinets, cleaning appliances, mopping floors, wiping chairs in dining room and kitchen.

Description of Work: General cleaning of our early 1900's 1200 sf house, including dusting/cleaning of the numerous wood shutters we have covering many doors and cabinet doors, and dusting/cleaning of some of the wood walls. I'd like to note that the $78 is after a 50% discount using an Angie's List coupon for half off the first and second cleanings and after this first deep cleaning following cleanings will be $85 full price. They're a little more expensive than the last company I tried but I wasn't happy with the last company so I think it's worth it! I also tipped each of the cleaners (3) $10. I don't know if this is standard, high, low, or what, but I've heard you should tip the individual cleaners. Another thing that impressed me was that Carolyn recognized that we had cork flooring and to use only a vinegar and water solution on our cork floors. I didn't even know this.

Description of Work: Full housecleaning, both levels. Estimate also included the option of main level cleaning only, which I will utilize the majority of the time.
