The cleaning team that came to my house was on time and cleaned the entire house in an efficient, but extremely thorough manner. This team is great and always does an excellent job when cleaning our house. I have been using this cleaning service for almost 5 years. I was referred to them when I was pregnant and looking for a house cleaner. I have continued using them ever since. I have a cleaning team scheduled every two weeks, but they are extremely flexible if I need to change the schedule. Our house is three levels, but they allow me to schedule either a partial or full house cleaning. The teams are very punctual and have a detailed book with some of the specific cleaning requests I have made, in case I get a team not familiar with my house. In the rare instance that I have not been satisfied with my service, Holly and/or Carolyn have addressed my issues promptly and professionally. I would recommend Maid For A Day for your cleaning needs.

I hired Maid For A Day to do a deep clean for the home I share with my father and sister. It was a complete surprise for them and they were so happy. We all have extremely busy schedules so taking the time to truly clean can sometimes be overwhelming for us. That is why I called Maid For A Day. I spoke with Carolyn in the office and was told how the service works, we scheduled an estimate and once the estimate was done I said, "You're hired!" It was such an easy and efficent process from start to finish. I felt so comfortable with this company that I gave them the lockbox code to enter my home when we were all at work. I was so excited to come home and see my clean home that the day at work seemed to drag on. When I arrived home, I could not believe the level of detail that was done. My kitchen was so bright and shiny, the microwave sparkled from the inside out. I am so happy with the work that was done, I will definately call again.

AAAHHHHHMAZING!!!! I cannot believe the quality of service they provided!! I was in a panic on 8/26/14 -- a Tuesday...I was closing on the sale of my house on Friday 8/29/14 and had no idea how I was going to get everything done in time for the final walk-thru on Thursday night. I HAVE 18 MONTH OLD TWIN BOYS and I WORK OVER 60 HOURS A WEEK!!!! I had never sold a house before and didn't know what was expected from my buyer but I would expect the new house I was moving into to be in pristine condition. I was discussing my dilemma with a friend and she referred me to Maid For a Day cleaning service. She told me hiring them would surely take away so much of my stress. They would take care of the hard work of cleaning my home for the new buyer. Frankly, I just wasn't going to have the time needed to do a great job. They were not only able to fit me in on short notice (less than 48 hours), but they were able to work around my schedule and the movers and had everything done before the final walk-thru. THE HOUSE WAS SPOTLESS!!! I am talking about the fridge, oven, toilets, sinks, my huge soaking tub that had stains I hadn't been able to get out for years. Also, they cleaned all the scuff marks on the walls and the floors from the movers! The buyers realtor was shocked and extremely impressed with how clean everything was. She commented at least 5 times to me during the walk thru and thanked me for the buyer as he was unable to do the walk-thru himself. She also commented again at closing!! So that was part one..... I was also set to close on the purchase of my new home the same day I was closing on the sale, 8/29/14. I was scheduled to work from 7:15am - 9:00pm. I was only going to be able to hurry to the closing at 2:00pm and rush back to work and hope the movers put everything somewhat where it belonged. As I was in a panic on Thursday worrying about getting my old house cleaned for the buyer, I find out from my realtor that my new house wasn't even going to be clean. WHAT!!!!! This beautiful home that I was about to purchase was going to be a mess and dirty. That was unacceptable to me but the sellers would not be putting in any effort to make sure it looked good for me...And remember I was counting on all the stars aligning anyways to have this move work out smoothly while I was at work. I called Maid For a Day again to, 1 make sure that we were still on the schedule, and 2 if there was any way they could squeeze in another cleaning for me prior to my close on Friday. Carolyn Maset told me to calm down and not to worry one bit...She would get everything worked out for me and my new home would be spotless. We coordinated with my realtor and the buyers to let Carolyn's, Maid For a Day cleaning crew into the new house prior to closing to get started. The closing took much longer than expected which allowed the cleaners extra time to really deep clean the house. They had every window in the house sparkling, the carpets looking amazing, the toilets, showers, tile floors, and all appliances spotless. The sellers even told us at closing that the oven was filthy and they didn't even try getting it clean as the Self-cleaning feature on the oven just broke. IT LOOKED LIKE A NEW OVEN! They even cleaned inside the washer!!! WOW is all I could say when I arrived home after 9:00pm to see how nice and clean my new house was. I am truly grateful for all of the hard work they put into making my new home shine. Thank You so much Maid For a Day!!! I will be referring you to everyone I know.

The employees are very pleasant and agreeable. They are prompt and efficient. They are careful of furnishings. I trust them. I would highly recommend Maid for a Day Cleaning Services.

I have been using the service for several years, and they have always provided good, reliable service. A team of two cleaners dusts, cleans bathrooms, washes floors, etc. Price is reasonable, and they are willing to accommodate occasional changes in the monthly scheduled visit.

The team has been good about being on time or letting me know if the usual time will vary more than a few minutes. They are pleasant to be around, take direction well and are careful of our belongings. They seem to enjoy the work and are diligent in their efforts to give me a clean home. They have caused no damage in their several months of service. There have been no complaints about the many stairs or about the work. They occasionally mention things that need special attention, which I appreciate.

I called Maid For A Day to come do a house cleaning at the home I share with my brother and my dog Lilah, a german sheperd. My dog is still a puppy and can be overwhelming to people because of her breed. When Holly came to do the estimate we discussed not only the cleaning of my home but also how the crew would be with my dog. She is my world. They were great with her! They talked to her when they came in so she would not feel as if they did not belong, because I desperately needed them to clean my home. The crew came in and went right to work, no stopping to play with the dog, or to look around the home. They already knew what was expected of them! How great that Holly wrote out the work order for them so I did not have to take them on a tour of the house again. I was so very impressed with how the team of 3 came in and got the job done. My kitchen cabinets have not shined like this in a long time and my floors are absolutely wonderfully clean. Thanks again to the crew and supervisors of Maid For A Day House Cleaning for coming in and doing such a wonderful job! I cannot thank you all enough.

Everything went great! They showed up right on time and they did everything I told the agency I wanted done and with great detail. Down to the corners and cracks in the tiles. Highly recommend to others and I will use them again on a by monthly basis.

They left my house super clean, they arrived super punctual and did the job way better than any other company I had in the past! They got rid of all dust, grease, all spots, spiderwebs. They cleaned my bathrooms and left them bright and shinny! My kitchen is free of grease and spotless! I am super impressed with them, the same owner called me to verify that I was happy with the service. They work fast and they are very friendly and respectful, I feel they are very honest people and do things fast and to detail. They said they would redo any area if I was not happy with the service; however, there was no need for this since they did everything very well the first time!! They really provide an excellent service, I am extremely happy with this company and I recommend them 300%! I certainly will call them again! The service they provide is a 10 plus!

Wonderfully. The 2 showed up 5 minutes early, which is great for me! They came Very well prepared, and went straight to work. I'm a bachelor, and they cleaned the house from top to bottom, and made it look like when i moved in (Immaculate) At first, I was apprehensive to let someone in my home, and clean. From the first contact, they alleviated all my fears, and have been nothing but help. I highly recommend them!

We have a large flat which is a live/work space, where we host events, have daily clients in, lots of foot traffic. We are pretty good at keeping the place clean and tidy ourselves, however recently we needed some help and Maid For A Day showed us a new level of cleanliness in our home that is really felt. They got things we never seem to get. Our bathroom and kitchen feels brand new! They managed to get all of the cobwebs, even with high ceilings! Things I thought were stains around the place are now somehow gone! Even after our last event, the place still feels like it was just cleaned and they came 1 week ago!

After paying random individuals in the past to clean my home I always was left feeling underwhelmed. Maybe I'm particular, or have high expectations but I always had to touch things up when they left. I went by a recommendation of a friend and hired Maid for a Day to clean my townhome before my mother (terrible cat allergies) was coming to visit. I was hoping if all the dust and cat hair was gone she could survive in my home for a weekend. I could not have had an easier time with all the wonderful employees at MFAD. They were super friendly, accommodating (short notice call on my part) and efficient! They sent two employees over, they were on time and no dilly dallying that I could see. We did a walk thru when they were done (their suggestion) and everything looked amazing! When they left I REALLY looked around waiting to find something and I didn't see a single thing that needed a touch up! Better yet- my mom was able to spend the whole weekend without cat hair issues and I didn't have to spend hours cleaning. They did such a good job my husband wants to hire them once a month. Best $ I've spent in a LONG time, thank you again MFAD!

I was very pleased with how great the service provided by this cleaning company was. Not only did they get rid of all the dust, dirt, and clutter that had been building up for weeks, but I was also amazed to see how well they were able to clean the counters, floors, and corners of the apartment that my roommates and I had no desire going near. We also have a dog and a cat, so lingering pet hair had been a problem throughout the entire time we have been living here, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that they managed to get rid of all of that as well; you would never know we have had animals living here for the past year thanks to their services!

In fact, the supervisor left before they were done - I went out briefly, trusting them to finish the job as agreed upon, and when I returned it was clear that they did not. It looked like they had left right after I did. There was trash and dirt under beds, in corners, surfaces weren't clean - I called them and they came back and did a much better job, but that shouldn't have to happen. The first time it should be done right. And even when they came back, it wasn't a "deep cleaning" - furniture that's easy to push to one side should be moved and cleaned under, appliance fronts and sides cleaned, all cobwebs removed. I am still finding areas that weren't cleaned. If you hire these folks, make sure that you inspect all areas that they cleaned afterwards. I really think they need to follow through on having a supervisor check afterwards if the results turn out like this.

Very well. I had beautiful carpet lines, shiny hard woods and sparkling tile. I am going through a divorcee and somehow the house work got away from me. Maid for a Day came in and was able to get my house back on track. The estimator was friendly, polite and courteous and the cleaners were knowledgeable and efficient. I have used there services before for pre and post cleaning for parties and would definitely continue to use them in the future.

The cleaners arrived on time. I showed them the items I wanted cleaned. They cleaned all the areas nicely and showed me to make sure I was satisfied with their work. The cleaners were professional and personable. They were diligent in their work. This is the fourth or fifth time I have used Maid for a Day and I would use them again.

This was the second time I have used Maid for a Day cleaning service and I once again was blown away and awe struck by the results. Since last using Maid for a Day I had done some home remodeling done. I once again had Carolyn come and perform an estimate because my spaces had changed. I was very impressed with Carolyn’s professional and efficient estimate. I was also very thankful for her vast cleaning knowledge. I am so glad she shared her knowledge with me otherwise I would have done some serious damage to my new hardwood floors! On the scheduled day the team of two arrived on time and quickly got to work. I knew my house needed cleaning but I was very impressed with how thoroughly the team cleaned my spaces. As I had mentioned I had some home remodeling done and I thought I had cleaned up from that but turns out I had missed a lot. There was dust on my baseboard and doorways that I didn’t notice until the team had cleaned them. My oak woodwork went from dull to a polished glow. I also had been sweeping my new hardwood floors which turns out was not pulling up all the dust so when the team dust moped and the cleaned the floors (with proper cleaners which I made sure to note) they shinned like new. The Maid for a Team was polite, proficient and skilled. The end result (aka: my clean house) confirmed the true professionalism of Maid for a Day. The cleaning they provide was superior to my own attempts and more efficient they I could do.

1st of all I'd like to say I just joined Angie's list today in search of a new cleaning company due to the very disappointing job I had done by maid for a day. Never even thinking for a second about leaving a bad review because frankly I don't usually take the time, I decided to read what other members had experienced with them to see if it was just a fluke what I had experienced. And to sum it up, I am appalled by the responses I have seen from this company to members for bad reviews. If I had seen this prior to hiring them that in itself would have checked them off my list of possibilities. At no time should a company insult or disrespect any client, whether they had a bad experience or not. I've worked in a professional business atmosphere for 20+ years and one thing I can tell you is that "the client is always right" and even when you think there not, you as the professional should be just that - PROFESSIONAL ! Word of mouth from clients is invaluable! With that being said here is my 1st review of any company in my lifetime, I feel that strongly about it! I sent an email to the company via there website requesting a free estimate, Carolyn responded promptly and we set up an appointment. She came out and was friendly and told me about the 50% off the 1st two cleanings which I had seen on the website but hadn't mentioned yet. So I respected the fact that she offered the information upfront. She gave me an estimate for what we talked about and I called her the next day to start services every 3 weeks. Later that day she emailed me a schedule of dates and times thru the end of the year. All is well so far, and i'm excited to start the service. After talking with my daughter and informing her I had hired a cleaning company she agreed to pay a portion of it, so I had to contact Carolyn and inform her that I needed to change the service to every two weeks....no response, hmmm, ok I'll send another email....weird, still no response so I called and received one appt the following week. I was told the charge would be $123.19 ( which was including having received 50% off) We have a 4 bedroom ( only three were to be cleaned) and 2.5 baths. The cleaners came out on time and were friendly, they (2 girls) stayed an hour and a half. The going rate for cleaners is $30/hr which is $90 for three hours and I paid $126.13 for 3 hours of work. 1 girl stood around for about 20 minutes talking to the other one while she vaccumed. I was asked to inspect there work and did a brief walk through, and everything seemed clean by 1st glance. After they left the 1st thing I noticed is where the girl had just vaccumed. The vaccum basically balled up hair and fuzz on our carpet and wasn't sucked up? so I started looking further...nothing was put back even close to where they found it. Real obvious stuff too, benches not pushed back against the wall, my raised dog bowl left in the middle of the dining room. They didn't move stuff and dust under and around it, just the fronts and there was around an inch away from any edges. I had to re-mop the hardwood floor because I could visually see water marks. Horrible work. When I contacted the manager and told them about the quality of the work I was told they could come back out with a supervisor the next day, which didn't work for me because I would not have been home. I don't feel I should have to tell a company what they should do, If I wanted to have to delegate duties or manage someone as to what they are hired to do I would hire an independent cleaner or housekeeper. I was putting my trust in them and was completely disappointed. I promptly put a stop payment on my check and refuse to pay for overpriced, false advertising ( they don't really give you 50%), disappointing work.

They came to our house on three occasions. Each of the first two visits were inadequate, but we gave them some time to imporve. They left a film on wooden floors and the bathrooms were cleaned subpar. The 3rd visit was terrible. The 2 cleaners were there less than half the time of the 2 previous visits and everything done was a lick and a promise. The bathrooms were much worse than before and the wooden floor film was even worse. I would recommend they go out of business as the house was virtually no cleaner than before they came .

The team arrives on time with smiles. They get right down to work. If there is something that needs attention, they are happy to do it. The cleaning is thorough and done to my specifications. I am very impressed not only with the team and owners but the company's community involvement. Maid for a Day continually gives back to the community be it Toys for Tots, a food shelf or donating services to cancer patients. Kudos

I recently used Maid for a Day to prepare for a move. We were moving from a town home (which we were preparing for renters) to a house. Our property manager gave us a list of tasks to accomplish before renters were shown the property, and recommended Maid for a Day, so my husband and I hired them to assist us with the transition of both properties. For our town home, the biggest challenge (I thought) was going to be the kitchen. The oven was scrubbed so clean inside and out it looked almost brand new. even under the hood and the drip pans were cleaned. I always has trouble cleaning the outside. The stainless steel sink was streak free, and the biggest bonus of all was the walls by the sink. The home has textured walls and doesn't have a back splash, so dishwater made the wall by the sink grimy. My property manager advised us to paint the kitchen to freshen it up. I mentioned it to the cleaners and Carolyn suggested she might try baking soda and vinegar. Well, wasn't I surprised to see the entire length of the wall scrubbed completely clean. I could not believe it. The wall looked great and no harsh chemical smell. It really saved me a heap of time and money by allowing me to skip painting the kitchen. Overall, they did a wonderful job and I couldn't be more appreciative. Maid for a Day returned to our new home to do a general cleaning before we unpacked. I advised Carolyn of my needs and she was more than agreeable. We had requested that 2 bathrooms get scrubbed down and the kitchen cleaned including appliances and cabinets, and also the general cleaning of light fixtures,switches, and baseboards. The condition of my refrigerator at my new home was terrible. The previous owners had turned it off and did not leave it open. It sat this way for months while we were trying to buy this house. It was moldy, smelly and disgusting. I do not know what miracle happened to that fridge/freezer, but my sister in law saw it before and after and was shocked and impressed. Every single nook and cranny was completely clean. It looked white again, the glass was clear and I have not seen a speck of mold or mildew left behind. It did not smell of bleach either. I was able to stock it right up without worrying about chemical fumes. I was impressed by that alone, but the shower and the toilets were another story. The water softener has not been hooked up so there were hard water stains by the drains and rings in the toilet. I assumed these would not come off, but I was fine with it just being cleaned. Oh no, those rings and marks were completely gone! These were just the things that really stand out. I was overall so impressed by the quality of the work, and the pride that was shown in the work. I would absolutely use this company again.

They did not do a thorough job at all. The shower was only partly cleaned. I still found cobwebs throughout the house, when there should've been none. Did not do a thorough dusting as well. *You can disregard the message from the provider below, it is obsolete now that I have responded.*
