One thing I liked right off the bat is that Carolyn came out for a personal estimate (some of the others will only do this over the phone). In addition to the deep clean, I requested cleaning the over and all of the windows. I was extremely pleased with what they did - I have never seen my house so clean. They cleaned the hardwood floors in places that were very challenging. They did whatever it takes to remove stubborn lime/hard water stains without damaging the stainless steel surface. I was particularly impressed that they clean windows inside and out on a cold spring day. Carolyn was very good on the follow-up as well, and worked with my schedule for additional cleanings.

Cleaning is satisfactory. They did an ok job. They are not exceptional. That is why I am not using them anymore. They didn't stand out at all for me. It was a mediocre job; not thorough.

I contacted them about a week before and was able to get a time slot when I desired for my one-time clean. I met with Holly to do a walk thru and get an estimate. I got a call the day before confirming the appointment and asking if it was OK if they started early if they finished other work early - I said yes. Team of 2 arrived and unloaded their supplies. One spoke English. We talked about what I needed done and they got to work. They were very polite and careful of my newly finished hardwood floors. The owner came by close to the start and then again when they were done to do a walkthru I gave a B for quality and professionalism due to a couple things I've noticed as I've been unpacking. Inside of a bathroom medicine cabinet was not cleaned; the side of an upper cabinet was not cleaned; cobweb under the bathroom sink. I assumed that a professional cleaning crew would address these areas.

My husband and I hired Maid for A Day for monthly house cleanings and they did some furniture upholstery and carpet cleaning for us after we moved into our new home (1700 sq ft). I cannot say enough good things about the services they provided as well as how reasonable their pricing is. Carolyn and her team were very flexible when it came to the areas in our home we wanted cleaned on a regular basis. For example, we have 3 bathrooms and we only use 2 of them on a regular basis so the crew would skip the 3rd bathroom and focus their attention on other areas of the house. Carolyn is also exceptionally responsive via email---due to my hectic work schedule and not always being available to speak on the phone, communicating via email is more convenient than phone so the fact that Carolyn is so responsive to email was wonderful! In addition to having a clean house, there were several other little things the crew did to add a special touch like the fancy way they would fold our bathroom and kitchen towels and they would leave us a little gift like a pen, notepad, calendar, etc. We also enjoyed getting their newsletters in the mail?normally, I am not a fan of ?junk? advertisement kind of mail but their newsletters are far from ?junk? mail. Each one is unique with articles about such things as housecleaning tips but the one consistent message in every newsletter is around their support and level of giving back to the local community- that made me feel even better about my choice of going with them. The only reason we no longer use their services is because my husband and I decided to stop being so lazy, save money and clean our own home ? we?ll see how long that lasts, I?m keeping their # nearby. Overall, I would highly recommend Maid for a Day not only for their superior level of service but the efforts they make to support and give back to the local community.

I thought the price was reasonable, applied coupon. They were detailed in cleaning and respectful of our home and time. Brought all the equipment, very organized. Will be hiring again next month. I enjoy the idea of hiring when needed, great concept. Hats off to a well run business, grateful I found them. Hope the same two workers return, they were awesome.

I was in a panic to get my house cleaned as I was having out of town guests coming and had been so busy at work that I hadn't had time to do a thorough cleaning. I called the office and set up an appointment for Carolyn to come out for an estimate. She was on time and very professional. I asked some questions about the service since I have never had a cleaning service before. She explained in detail what would be done and then asked me if that was what I was looking for. (It actually exceeded what I thought I would get). We set up a date for a team to come out and clean on rather short notice I might add. They too arrived on time and were very friendly and did a great job. I will definately hire them again. They far exceeded my expectations!

Maid For A Day has come to clean my home a few times now, and they have always done a very good job. This company even cleans all the spaces of my home that has not been done for quite some time. When they leave my home looks very clean and I love the vacuum lines in the carpet. The office is always available to me if I need them for any reason. I definately would recommend this company to anyone and will continue to use their services.

We started with an initial visit for an estimate. Carolyn exceeded my expectations by arriving promptly. listening to my needs, and detailing the services offered. We scheduled the first cleaning day, and I was very impressed with the quality of service, attention to detail, and timely completion. Her team was punctual and well prepared. I've had many cleaning services in the past but can honestly say that none took the time to really deep-clean during the initial visit in the same way that Carolyn's team did. I have plantation blind in literally every room of the house, and they've never looks so clean! Every ceiling fan, the baseboards, and all eight-panel door were also carefully dusted. Overall this service has far exceeded my expectations!

I received a gift certificate for house cleaning as a Christmas present and was thrilled to have them clean my home. As a working mother with a new born it is hard to keep up with everything around the house. The cleaners came in and went right to work. When they were finished they came and asked me to review the house cleaning. Everything looked great. With this experience I will be hiring Maid For A Day for regular cleanings. I have used many house cleaning companies in the past-----nothing compares to the quality of service I received from the team at Maid for a Day. Living a busy life, with both my wife and I working (and 3 kids), it's always a struggle to keep up on the house (and its always a center of frustration). They always show up on time, are friendly, and always impress us to the detail of cleaning they do. We also used them to do a final cleaning of our house prior to putting it up for sale. End of the day, it definatley helped me sell it on my own in 30 days--truly a blessing! I would recommend them to all my friends and family members. Give them a shot, you will be impressed!

We hired Maid For A Day housecleaning to come do monthly cleanings at our home as we are busy individuals with messy pets. They were trustworthy, reliable, and respectful. We always looked forward to coming home on the cleaning days knowing that the house would be sparkling from top to bottom. During this time we listed our house for sale. When it finally sold we had them come out for a final cleaning. They cleaned everything inside and out to leave the house in great shape for the new owners. I highly recommend them and will continue to use them for our new home!

I hired Maid For A Day based on the reviews I have read on Angie's List and I was so pleased that they lived up to the reviews. I have a 2 bedroom home that I share with my husband and 3 children. The cleaning crew came in and cleaned all the areas that we have not been able to get to. The cleaning that they did included cleaning my bathroom, kitchen, and family areas. I was impressed at how shiny all the surfaces looked. I would reccomend highly this company.

Maid for day did a great job, with a great attitude. They got out to our place quickly, and when I let them know my time limitations and they were very flexible. Not only did they do a great job on a house that while cleaned periodically, had a few nooks and crannies that we never quite got to (and where they did a fantastic job), they were positive, cheerful to be around, and gave some great suggestions on simple changes we could make to keep the place looking good between visits. Finally, they were fast, without sacrificing quality work. Very happy with their work and plan on using their service for the near future!

Washed all flooring, Vacuumed all carpet, Cleaned all appliances, Wiped down outside/inside cabinets, Cleaned all fixtures,tub and shower in bathroom. They also removed any webs, wiped down window sills and blinds. All surfaces including countertops were wiped down. Courteous and Professional. Made a follow-up call after services were complete.

I hired this company because I live with 2 roommates and none of us have time to do any cleaning. We had not been able to do a deep cleaning of our home in some time. They came in and went right to work cleaning. The crew was prompt, had all the supplies and cleaned the house to perfection. The kitchen is where we spend most of our time and gets used everyday. The microwave was in need of a good clean and I was so impressed with how clean they got it. I would reccommend using this company for all your cleaning needs. I will be calling them for future cleanings.

Very pleasant crew, They were very efficient and made sure that every nick and cranny was cleaned. Any items on any table were picked up to be dusted underneath. I've used them for years and used previous cleaning services before them. Maid for a Day us by far the best service I have used.

I have very specific method for cleaning my house. Everything has its place and as far as Im concerned, no one else does it right. However, life has been really crazy and I needed some help. So, after hearing about Maid for a Day, I thought if anyone was going to get my house clean "my way", it would be them. Holy cow was I right! IT WAS AMAZING! It was so easy to set the appointment. I spoke with Carolyn in the office and she was so friendly and helpful. She gave me the run down on what to do since it was the first time we had anyone in. Our dogs were home and I was concerned about that. Carolyn was super understanding and asked if we had "fur babies" and made sure we would be comfortable with the cleaners and the dogs. When the cleaners came in, my husband was home. He said they were polite and very nice. The stove top has never been so clean - it is BEAUTIFUL!! It's a glass top, so when something boils over, it causes brown marks. The cleaners got them off! I hate cleaning bathrooms and we have 3. My nephew uses the downstairs bathroom and he's not very neat. That bathroom SPARKLES! Our main bathroom upstairs is absolutely glistening and shining. The master bath was probably the worst, because its just my husband and me that use it. I walked in and it was like a brand spanking new bathroom!!! I couldn't freaking believe it! They were even kind enough to ask if we wanted them to let the dogs out of the bedroom when they left. So incredibly thoughtful! It was done precisely how I would have done it - if not a little better. I just cannot say enough good things about them. It was an amazing experience and I will be using them again in the future
