Three cleaners came and did an excellent job-I would recommend them.

The ladies from Maid for a Day were amazing! I was contacted immediately after I purchased the deal from Angie's List for 4 hours of cleaning for $120 (scheduled as 2 people for 2 hours). I was able to schedule the visit for the date I wanted. The ladies arrived right on time and were very professional. I left to do some work and came back two hours later. My house was INCREDIBLE! It was completely clean and smelled fresh, not like chemicals. I do not know how the woman did it, but my tub (I have a house built in 1925) was the whitest I have ever seen it. I have two dogs and could not find a trace of dog fur anywhere. I will absolutely use this company again! It's hard to keep up with deep cleaning, but now I feel like I have a fresh start to the new year.

Holly, the owner, called to ask if the cleaners could come at 1:00 instead of 2:30/3:00, which was my scheduled appointment. I told her I wouldn't be ready for them, because I needed to clean off kitchen counters, etc. I said they could start in bathrooms, while I moved things out of kitchen. She said not to worry. Holly and cleaners came around 1:20. I was surprised the owner came, but I thought it showed she was concerned I get the cleaning I wanted. Holly was concerned for me, since I had a back injury, and wouldn't let me move or carry anything. She said the cleaners would do it and they did. She walked with me to see what I wanted cleaned and repeated what needed to be done to the cleaners. She left after making sure the cleaners understood what I wanted. I was impressed with her professionalism and kindness to me. The cleaners, Wendy and Ricardo, did an excellent job on the 3 rooms. Because of my back problems, the white tile kitchen floor was especially dirty and now it shines. The counters shine, too. Ricardo cleaned the surface of all the appliances and even inside the microwave. They replaced everything they moved, including kitchen table and chairs (solid wood), so I wouldn't have to. The downstairs shower, upstairs bath tub and all sinks were cleaned beautifully, as were the the wall mirrors, the upstairs vanity and both bathroom floors. I am supremely pleased and recommend "Maid for a Day" to anyone looking for a cleaning service that can be trusted to do an excellent job. Oh, and "Maid for a Day" uses only green cleaning agents from Ecolab. Important to me, because I have a dog and 2 small grandchildren that spend a lot of time on kitchen floor playing with toy trucks, etc.

Had some difficulty and frustration connecting with the owner in the beginning, in order to set the appointment; and indicated on all of my emails the since of urgency to get started since my move in date was fast approaching. Once the owner and I connected, she (Carolyn) explained that she had to find a big enough crew to cover the size of my home (somewhat excusable). They arrived on time, 2 initially and 2 later. I provided the tour of the property, and pointed out focus areas of cleaning needs. The 1st 2 ladies worked hard as a team, and even got a very grimy tub door sparkling clean. The 2nd 2 ladies arrived and 1 of them had a bad attitude; she did not want to work and snapped at her partner a great deal. The owner checked in at the half point, and again at the end. She was quite nice and I was happy to know that she had started the business with family 7 years prior (great accomplishment). Overall, I was pleased with the outcome, they did however, miss alot in the kitchen, i.e. black kitchen sink had not been touched and was quite dirty! cob webs were still in corners. I wanted to use them again to see if it would improve, only the quote for future service was wayyyy out of our price range. Overall if you have a smaller house, they are likely a great fit!

Great! They were very professional individuals that came, they were friendly with my dogs, and were happy to be there. Overall, I am Very satisfied with their services, and will continue to call on them. Thanks!

Maid for A Day was absolutely wonderful to work with. I contacted them while we were in the midst of a construction project to have them clean once all the construction was done. They were very responsive and worked with me to find a date that was convenient for my schedule and the completion of the construction project. Holly arrived with the cleaning team and walked through what I wanted to have done. The team then began their work. They were friendly, thorough with their work and made my house sparkle! I would definitely use this company again.

Amazing!!! This team far exceeding my expectations. They went above and beyond (cleaning the stove top and top of fridge). The house was so nice when the finished. Everyone worked quickly and thoroughly and checked in throughout the process to make sure my priorities were met. I had made a list, and they quickly worked through it. Very professional and they brought their own supplies. Communication and prompt email response was really exceptional. I was getting ready for a birthday party and it gave me great peace of mind to see how well the house was cleaned. Certainly beyond my expectations, wold be happy to hire the team again and would highly recommend this professional, well run group. I forgot to me the team was also on time.

It went really great! I have been planning my own wedding that is coming up and they came and cleaned up, I have three dogs who are dirty and shed a lot so having them do their best job was a great pleasure and I felt less stressed about wedding planning and trying to keep the house clean! As a busy family we do not always have the time for a deep clean. It was so nice to have someone come through for a top to bottom clean. They were able my kitchen, cleaning the cabinets, stove, and microwave. The bathroom was also cleaned. I read once that cleaning with toddlers is like raking leaves in a hurricane. With this service we were able to skip the storm! We will definitely be calling them again for future cleaning!

I hired maid for a day for my grandfathers home, my mother and I normally deep clean his house once a year for him, although this year it has been difficult because of my brothers upcoming wedding. Because of this we were not able to make this cleaning trip work. I had seen the "Maid For A Day" cars driving around the area where I go to college, come to find out they clean all the local businesses in the area. I was very nervous about it at first; I had never hired a maid service before. My grandfather is a very specific man when it comes to his home; he does not like things moved or changed without his permission. I assured him everything would be fine. The woman I spoke to about everything, Carolyn, was so amazingly helpful and made it easy walking me through the process (being my first time working with a maid service). She understood my worries about my grandfather and clearly sent the message to the women who cleaned the house; they were very respectful of my grandfathers room. They were very quick but thorough, and made sure to put everything back where it was. After this experience, I will always contact Maid For A Day when needed. I trust them completely and would love to hire them on again. These are some hard workers who really care about their customers wants and needs. These guys are awesome!

The company did a move in cleaning at my new home I just purchased. From top to bottom everything was cleaned and I am so happy to move into a clean home. I will continue to use their services as they exceptional!

The service was top notch. Workers arrived on time and took over the house with one goal in mnd: Make the house shine for the new owners. They were prompt, professional, efficient, and paid attention to detail. After a hectic month which included selling our home and a moving cross country, the idea of cleaning the house post sale was overwhelming. Everyone was tired. Maid for a Day did an excellent job. If it was possible to give them an A+ I would!!!! I had used Maid for A Day my previous home and was always very impressed and satisfied with their work. I recently got divorced and had to sell my home and purchased a new one. My new home was not in the same condition as my previous home and had been used a rental property prior to me purchasing it. Since my new home was going to need some work I decided it made since to have a professional move in clean so that I could come in and focus my time and energy on repairs and maintenance. Moving is not fun and compound that with having to clean prior to being able to move your stuff in that is really not fun. I am so very thankful I called Maid for A Day and that I hired them to do my move in clean! Turns out the previous tenants really were not that tidy and that they had been heavy smokers (scented furnace filter masked the smoke smell). I had been impressed with the cleanings I had received in the past but was blown away with what they did at my new place. I am a pretty fastidious so my previous home was always very well maintained whereas my new home was not well maintained. I cannot believe what Maid for A Day was able to do and the dramatic difference they made! My new home put their skills to the test and they passed with flying colors; I cannot believe what they did nor did I realize how dirty things were until I say what they looked like clean! My bathroom grout went from almost black to light gray, all the tile went for being mate/dull in color to sparkling. I will admit I was thinking of gutting the bathroom because I thought it was grouse and beyond rescue but after seeing it cleaned I realized how nice the tile work was and that will couple cosmetic updates it would be great. In the kitchen the insides of all the cabinets and drawers were cleaned and wiped down and the stove, microwave and refrigerator sparkled. I am so grateful I hired Made for A Day because I don?t know what I would have done without them; I would probably still be cleaning my place if it weren?t for them. They made my new place livable by taking care of the dirty work!! My house went from stinky and dull to fresh and sparkling. There cleaning also saved me from a bathroom demo; never would have seen the potential in my bathroom if it had not been for their amazing cleaning. I have recommended Maid for A Day in the past and after their recent work in my new place I cannot praise them enough!!! Thank you Maid for A Day for making my new place amazingly clean, your cleaning allowed me to focus my energies on unpacking you helped make my move that much easier.

Unfortunately, the quality of the cleaning was terrible, and after three times we had to change to another service. We found dirt on the floors, sinks and bathroom surfaces right after the crew left. It did not even look like the kitchen sink or parts of the countertops had been cleaned at all! We went over all the parts of the house that we wanted to be cleaned every time, in our initial estimate/walk through, but they did not clean all the areas agreed upon on any occasion except the initial 'deep clean.' They never relined the trash cans with liners, etc etc. Although our interactions with the company have been pleasant on every occasion, unfortunately we could not stay with this company due to the quality of the service.

I got multiple bids from cleaning companies in the area but we ultimately decided to go with Maid for a Day due to their fair price and professionalism. I have two dogs who are not used to having people come in the house during the day, especially when my husband and I are not present. Carolyn really put me at ease and assured me their teams are very comfortable and experienced with dogs in the home. They are also really flexible- the day before our first cleaning I my husband decided he wasn't comfortable leaving the door unlocked all day so I emailed and said we wanted to change our access instructions to include a hidden key. Carolyn responded right away and let me know that was fine. We had our first cleaning and it went awesome! I am 8 months pregnant and our house has definitely been neglected with the dusting and deep cleaning tasks. The cleaning team had a great attention to detail- they even cleaned things that we didn't ask for or expect, like wiping down the washer and dryer in the laundry room! I also got an update email during the day letting me know how it had gone, as they probably knew I was worried about the dogs, who ended up doing just fine. All in all, it was a fantastic experience coming home to a clean home and we are very excited to continue bi-weekly service with Maid for a Day. One other thing- if you are considering paying a house cleaning company but are concerned about price, it is way more affordable than you might think! Try it out!

Awesome results! They cleaned in places that I've missed for years. The attention to detail was excellent. My mother in law even commented on how clean our house was! This was my first cleaning but you can bet I will be using them all the time from here on out. Who would have thought this service could be so affordable. Great value, great product and all in a small family owned business. Thank you maid for a day!

I emailed the company late on Sunday night asking if they had time to clean the same week. Received an email by mid-morning on Monday from one of the owners who told me that they indeed would have time that week. She offered to come out on Tuesday to give me an in home estimate. She arrived exactly as scheduled and gave me an estimate for the job. I liked everything about how the appointment was handled and scheduled the cleaning for Wednesday afternoon and was assured that the 2 person cleaning crew would be at my house between 2:00 to 2:30. Guess what? They arrived at 2:15 took a quick tour of the house to get my instructions and began the job. The owner had estimated the job would be 2.5 hrs. and I was skeptical as it would have taken me (one person) about 8 - 10 hours to clean my 2900 sq ft house. To my amazement, the 2 person crew completed the cleaning in about 2 hrs and 45 mns !! I am thoroughly happy with the job that was done and am still amazed at how hard working and efficient these 2 ladies were. This was a very smooth transaction - from the responsiveness to my email, the quick in home estimate to the efficient and wonderful job of the cleaning ladies. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a company the does the job as promised. The company even sent out a supervisor toward the end of the job to survey the work and get my impression of how it was going !! They are the real deal.

The woman who cleaned my apartment, Elvia, was very sweet. She did a great job listening to the key things I was looking to get done in my place, and, on top of that, she kept offering to do more. I have somewhat of an older bathroom, with ceramic tiles on the wall, and I was pleasantly surprised with how clean she was able to get them! I keep a clean house, but the tiles never look that good when I do them! Overall, it was a great visit--professional service with a friendly attitude.

There was constant communication in setting up the appointment. They were very patient as my client was elderly and had changed the cleaning date several times. Once a date was agreed upon they showed up on time and got right to work. It was a pretty big job but the cleaning was fantastic. They had given us a estimate before they came out and even though I could tell they worked harder and longer than initially expected the price was kept as given. An additional cleaner ended up coming to help finish the job on time and there was no additional charge. I feel they went above and beyond to provide excellent service at a very reasonable price. thank you, thank you, thank you. I think it will help my clients home sell faster and for a better price.

I contacted Maid for a Day and I'm so glad I did! They came out the next day for an estimate. The work was scheduled for the following day. The team came as scheduled and they brought all the cleaning supplies and vacuum. After they were done, my house looked terrific! I was very impressed and will be using this company again and again!!

They followed through immediately with the estimate and were very friendly and professional. My dog and cat were even treated as my family members. After going through my home with a thorough list of expectations we scheduled the cleaning and monthly service. The crew arrived promptly on the given day and went right to work. They worked vigorously non-stop and were finished in less time than I would have expected. My house looked beautiful and smelled great. The ladies were very friendly hardworkers and I would definately recommend them not only because the price was fair, but the whole experience was hassle-free and left my family smiling.
