Ed acted unprofessionally in every interaction I had with him. He called three times on his way to bid the project to awkwardly ramble on about how bad the roads were (it had lightly snowed), that he was lost, and that he would be late (he was an hour late). During the bid, he seemed unsure of himself and didn't provide any professional advice. When I called two days before he was scheduled to start, he told me that he had taken a bigger job and that he was sorry he should have told me. This was extremely infuriating because he knew I was doing the demo work and then just left me hanging. Worse still, he refused to commit to a time when he would be done with his bigger job and could start on my project. He just kept rambling on about his bigger job. When I expressed my frustration with him, he hung up. I've never dealt with someone as unprofessional as Ed. He never did the work, so I can't comment on that.
