Good ideas.

Went great! We may hire Lisa to do some of the actual work, however in the interim we have DIY some of the smaller flower beds. Lisa was bright and interesting. We would have liked the drawings, however, done in ink. (reason for the B in quality)

The meeting went very well, however we were left with having to just remember what we talked about as opposed to notes or scetches. So far we have only used a few of the ideas she gave us.

After visiting with us at our home, the designer returned about a week later to go over the plans. We will be doing the work ourselves, so a detailed drawing along with a brochure showing pictures of the selected plants and care instruction was provided. We think the design will look great once we complete the project. My only caution would be to establish an estimate beforehand. We weren't sure how much the design work would cost us until it was complete. Nonetheless, I feel it was a fair price for what was provided.

Both Landscaping projects were well done. The results are better than I ever expected.

I found Liisa after seeing the work she did for a couple of my neighbors. Liisa is friendly, knowledgeable, loves landscaping, and is easy to work with. She answered my many questions about her recommendations, and did not take offense when some of her suggestions did not agree with my preferences. If I presented her with a sample of something I liked better she was enthusiastic and helpful. She gave me advice on watering, pruning and general plant care. I saved the cost of delivery (about $50.00) by picking up the shrubs that Liisa ordered at a nursery. Liisa s prices were low when she worked for me, due to the fact that she was still in school at Hennepin Technical College, but will probably have increased since she got her degree in landscape design in December.
