From start to finish Legacy Restoration was first class. We worked with Branden Topel. He was professional and knowledgeable, in particular showing our insurance company the additional hail damage to our windows that the insurance adjuster missed. Legacy showed up to work exactly when Branden said they would and finished the work promptly and did excellent work. I would definitely hire them again.

Wonderful. Joey was our representative and he was very thorough, responsive and easy to work with. Very happy with the entire process of getting our new roof. It was fast, easy, simple and the crew did a great job ensuring the surroundings were not damaged and that everything was cleaned up. Highly recommend.

Overall, it was a decent experience. I had a good experience with Legacy representatives being punctual for scheduled appointments and generally professional. I was unhappy with the clean up job, but they made good on the final invoice after I pushed for it. The work completed seems to be of good quality and the job was completed promptly within my stated deadline.

Rick at Legacy Restoration is awesome to work with. He is kind, patient, and truly seems to care about his customers. I've had several bad experiences with contractors and it is hard to find people like Rick and Legacy. Rick will go the extra mile for you. Customer dedication and quality work is what sets them apart from the rest. My wife and I are picky and they really do great work. They have also done work on a family member's house, which is how I heard of Legacy. Highly recommended and I will be referring more people to Legacy. I had all my windows replaced and siding on 3/4 of my house replaced.

Great. Rick was a great resource to explain the process, and ensure a positive experience. I was very grateful that Legacy had someone come to the home to ensure that the State Farm inspector saw the damage and didn't low ball the estimate. The job was completed in one day and I am very pleased with the results.

Mike Cicharz, Service Representative, spent a large amount of time, over an extended period of months, and energy negotiating with the insurance company. What started as some roof damage with some siding damage resulted in a complete roof and siding correction. Mike stayed engaged on the complete effort and resolved normal problems as they developed. The work progresses as outlined and within the time frame provided. They did find two large rotted outside wall problems that were hidden by the old siding that had to be corrected with new lumber. They repaired walls with an additional expense, from Mike, to me which was way below what I expected. Any follow-up items have been quickly resolved by Mike or someone at LEGACY RESTORATION.

Avoid hiring Legacy Restoration LLC. My wife and I were promised the process would be easy, work would be done in a few weeks, that we would never have to visit their offices, and that no money was due until after the work passed inspection. We hired them in late August, 2015. The roof and vent covers were replaced in early September. The downspout was replaced in late October. That's when the calls demanding payment began. The facia work was not done, and there had been no inspection, so no money was due. Calls like this continued throughout the rest of the process. The facia was finally replaced in the pouring rain in mid-December. Materials were left behind for weeks, until I offered to have them recycled for them. There were more calls for payment, but no inspection. I called the inspector myself, just before Christmas (I figured I'd get these dopes out of my life). The inspector found no photos of the work on site and had to mark the inspection "failed". And it started to snow, so he said there would be no more inspections until spring. Just after Christmas, the calls from Legacy Restoration came almost daily, them demanding money, me reminding them I owed no money until the work passed inspection. I was double-teamed on the phone, with two Legacy Restoration employees shouting at me for money while I repeatedly explained that shouting would do no good, they needed to get the work inspected so I could pay them. A few days later, they threatened to put a lien on my house (which, it turns out they could not legally do for some time yet-- the person on the phone lied to me) if I did not deliver a check for 50% of the balance. Further, they would not drive to my house to pick up the check because I was "too far away". I delivered a check, on the condition that they sign a letter promising no more phone calls until 2 weeks after the inspection took place, and a written apology for mistreating me on the phone. They refused, until the CFO heard the noise of our arguing, heard my case, and wrote the note I had requested. I asked what they were going to do to make up for all the mistreatment I had received, and the CFO replied, "We don't DO that." Weeks later, the work was inspected, and it passed. Going against the letter the CFO had written, I was phoned and told to pay up. I made another trip across town with the final payment. I requested they have a "paid in full" receipt waiting for me. Instead I had to wait in the entryway while a secretary typed it up. To sum up-- work promised in September was completed with inspection at the end of February, payments were not picked up, I was harassed for payments that were not due, dealt with dozens of rude phone calls, dealt with their inability to call for inspections, received poor communication, pondered the moisture trapped behind aluminum facia on my house, and received absolutely no effort on their part to smooth out this incredibly bad customer experience. This was not at all what I was promised at the contract signing. This is the worst customer experience of my life (and I'm 50). I sent letters explaining my experiences to the presidents of the company and to supervisory personnel. I have never received a reply. ANY contractor can work a hammer and nails. It's the customer experience that counts. Avoid Legacy Restoration LLC.

The only reason I'm giving a poor review of their company is because they should be more careful about asking Home Owners to submit claims against their insurance. This is a waste of time and money for the home owner, the contractor, and the insurance carrier. If the door-to-door guy is not experienced enough to assess roof damage, then they should not recommend a claims submittal without first sending an "expert" from the company to assess the damage. This would save time and money for both the home owner and the insurance. Both Joe S and Matt were courteous, and punctual. They were also professional, but considering that I had to submit a bogus claim, I'm docking the "quality" and "professionalism". Overall I would suggest you find a different company to assess roof damage BEFORE you hire this company. I didn't have any work performed by this company, so I can't say whether or not they do quality work once they get the actual job.

Not hired. After checking the F ratings, it seems to me that this company is not to be trusted.

Mike was very thorough, professional, responsive to helping us figure out our roof situation. It had been hail damaged, so insurance covered the cost. He really took the time (several times at our house) to make sure things were right with us and in negotiating with the insurance company.

There wasn't anything too bad with them, it was an insurance job. They come one day, and they don't show up for another week. The completed the roof once they got to it, in one day, and then they had to fit the fascia another day.

The whole process took a few months. They completed the installation in one day. They did a great job cleaning up. They also do window installations, we found their estimate to be reasonable and signed a contract with them.

They were professional and easy to work with. The definitely do their homework and try their best to match existing wood/siding. We had to address a couple of issues where there was some wood deteriorating and another area where we had moisture issues. We feel confident that they addressed what needed to be corrected and found the best siding/wood options.

It was great! I thought the price was fair.

The workers were extremely friendly. The cleanup was immaculate. They were also very fast. I had a very competent, no pressure salesman.

I told him that I did not need any repairs. That evening I received a phone call from their company or a contracted call center from an aggressive, irritating salesperson who was trying to push unneeded and unwanted services on me. A week later they called again. They just won't take no for an answer.

There were some communication issues during the process but the work was top notch. We had some issues with siding color on the house but they did as we asked and the issue was resolved. Overall the people and company were very organised and well coordinated with deliveries and installation times. The bill came in as negotiated and not a penny more. I would use the company again.

Legacy Restoration did a superb job. We met about three times to nail down all the details before the job. Their crew arrived on the scheduled day with all materials – they removed the old roof, installed the new roof, cleaned up all debris, and hauled away all unused materials on the same day! Legacy Restoration was very good about communicating with us by phone and email to make sure that all our questions were answered and that we were satisfied with the job.

I think they are fine, however I have to change the trim all around my home to match the color of the roof. This is really stressful to me. I have had no problems with the roof and they cleaned up well.

They are good. The insurance company is paying for part of it. It is very good work.

The provider met with my insurance adjuster who agreed to cover the cost of my roof minus my deductible due to storm damage.. They met with me and were very helpful in explaining the process and giving me choices for roof color, etc. On the day of the installation they arrived promptly and were very polite and friendly, making sure the cars were out of the garage before bringing in the dumpster. They carefully moved some of my flower pots/window boxes and covered the grass, shrubs and sidewalk to avoid damage, etc. They removed my shingles and put on new ones, including vents and ice and water shield. They started the work at approximately 7:00 AM and were finished by 1:15PM which included a spotless cleanup. Everything was put back exactly as it had been and there was absolutely no sign of construction debris. They took care of everything including getting a permit and communicating with my insurance company so that I did not have to do anything. I couldn't have been happier with this experience!!

The crew showed up on time. They got the roof tore off and I ended up having a problem with my roof sheeting. They ended up having to tear off 57 sheets of plywood and replace them. They wanted to put the new sheeting over the old wet sheeting! You can absolutely not do that at all. They ordered 100 sheets and I only needed 57. When I got the final bill, they had charged me for all 100 sheets of plywood, instead of the 57 that were installed. I upgraded my venting also and went from a turtle vent to a turtle vent. They charged me for $10/foot on venting. When my insurance company had came out, the numbers that they came up with for estimates didn't match Legacy's at all. Insurance company said that I had 100 ft of ridge, not the 150 feet that Legacy tried to say I had. They also tried to overcharge me for the extra vents that they brought over but didn't use. They were supposed to have taken all those extra charges back off, and didn't. When they were installing the sheeting, they were very wasteful. They would make their cut and only use about 1/4 of the piece and through the rest of the sheeting into the dumpster! Those other pieces, with out a doubt could have been used. I got them out of the dumpster and threw them on the roof and told them to use them, since I paying per sheet. The installation of the sheeting was terrible, but they did a bit better job with installing the shingles. In the end, Legacy did come back out to my home to collect the money and did adjust the bill. But had I not been home to see the materials being used or been someone without the experience to know, I would have been overcharged by about $4000! I would absolutely not use them again and would stay away from them!
