It started with this first gardener Santos coming to mow on a Sunday instead of the pre-scheduled M-T days of the week. Then he would show up the next 3 weeks whenever he wanted with no notice. He NEVER did any trimming and even though I paid extra for a one time yard clean up of leaves, he started to leave and I had to go outside and ask him to do it. However, I didn’t complain as I just wanted the grass cut while my husband recovered from surgery. Fast forward 3 weeks he abruptly stopped our service without notice for a month long vacation or something. I had to call at least 3 times to find another provider- they didn’t call me which brings us to Paul. Paul Nordstrom showed up at 7am with a one hour notice that he sent via email (not text) at 6am so I hadn’t received it yet. He woke up my son and my husband (who was home recovering from surgery) and probably most of my retired neighbors. He used a setting that was to short in the middle of drought that our grass is already turning brown and even though I did request a longer cut. He drove over our rain sensor with a walking mower and cut the cord. His mower had no bag or mulch setting so he used a leaf blower to spread the grass clippings around in the backyard; in the front yard he blew the grass into the cul-de-sac. Since my husband saw him from the window run over the rain sensor cord he went out and talked to him about it. Paul claimed it wasn’t his fault because I didn’t note it but I also didn’t know he was coming so how could I tell him. He also said he would fix it when he was done mowing but my husband went out to talk to him when he noticed him getting in his truck to leave without fixing it. Paul mumbled “don’t give me a hard time” and proceeded to get in his truck and leave. Lawn Love reached out to address my concerns but also let me know they only help find a solution for both parties, but ultimately Paul is responsible for fixing the wires. At this point we don’t want him anywhere near our property since he took so little regard for our house and property (he also broke a butterfly yard declaration that was not even in the grass) so I guess we’re on the hook to repair the rain sensor. Avoid this company like the plague!

They have been handy and have done very good work. They clean everything up when they are done and are very accommodating. I will definitely hire them again.

BEWARE! It is clear Lawn Love does not property vet the service providers they connect you with. I was scammed by individuals Lawn Love sent out to my property to do the work. I've actually felt uncomfortable that these individuals know where I live after the experience I had. I would NOT go with Lawn Love for any services based on this.
