The company representative came out, measured and quoted the work to be done, which was lower than the other quotes. The experience was fine until halfway through the job they realized they had underestimated square footage, then increased the price by ~15% --- leaving us to wonder if the low quote was intentional. Either way, we agreed to pay for their mistake, trying to be reasonable and understanding. Once the job was complete, the quality of the floors were such that dings and dents were found on edges of boards throughout (difficult at first to see in the blond wood) because the wood was damaged during installation. When we expressed our concern, they left us with some wood filler and told us to fill the holes. Finally, after showing him deep marks on the floor, the owner took some pictures and said he would follow up with the manufacturer due to the quality issue. He said they would apply a finish containing a hardener that may help if the manufacturer did not come through. I called several times to follow up and they simply would not return calls, leaving the "lasting impression" that they did not care since they had already been paid.

The experience was good, not great. They did the job fine it just took longer than I would have liked. They were clean and tidy as much as they could be.

THE WORK AND CRAFTSMANSHIP WAS OUTSTANDING. OUTSTANDING OVERALL EXPERIENCE! THE EMPLOYEES WERE PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS AND FRIENDLY. THE WORK WAS COMPLETED ON SCHEDULE. I WAS IMPRESSED THEY WERE WILLING TO WORK WITH MY SCHEDULE AND NOT A PROBLEM TO TRAVEL TO SOUTH ST. PAUL, WHERE SOME OF THE OTHER COMPANIES WOULDN'T TRAVEL OUTSIDE THE IMMEDIATE METRO AREA. LASTING IMPRESSIONS SAID THEY WORK ALL OVER THE AREA. I FOUND LASTING IMPRESSIONS TO BE VERY COMPETITIVELY AND REASONABLY PRICED. I WILL DEFINITELY BE CALLING THEM IN A MONTH FOR MY HARDWOOD FLOOR INSTALLATION PROJECT. THEY HAVE MY BUSINESS AND ALL MY REFERRALS!
