The company was very responsive. Called me before they came out and got all the work done in a timely manner. All the finished work looked much better then I thought it would. I also talked to them about getting all my siding replaced. The installer assured me that I still had few years left on the siding. I appreciated his honesty. However they provided me with some great resources to research colors and styles of siding I could get when the time is right. When the time comes, I will be calling Lakewoods to replace the siding. Great company. Highly recommended.

Lakewoods Remodeling was excellent to work with. The roofing project they did for me went very well, from the initial estimate through completion. The job was expected to take two days but they had a great crew who worked hard and completed the entire re-roofing job in one long day, including clean-up. Project oversight and follow-up to make sure everything was done and met my expectations was timely and thorough. I would definitely use this company again, and highly recommend them to others.

He was friendly and gave good advice for free. I highly recommend this company to all penny pinchers.

I called the provider to check if our roof had hail damage. Steve arrived the same day (within an hour of my call) to look at it. He didn't find an issue with our roofing, but since I had him up there, I asked him a few questions about other minor issues. He happily explained things to me and was extremely helpful. He even fixed loose flashing, free of charge. If and when I need their services, I will be calling them!

We had a very bad hailstorm. Shawn Rise of Lakewoods had to do some very difficult negotiating with the insurance company. Our original siding wasn't made any more and Lakewoods had to convince the insurance company that the quality we had was comparable to the top quality of the replacement. Shawn also made excellent suggestions on siding color to complement our brickwork. The most difficult set of circumstances occurred because our windows were an expensive Pella Designer Collection and that didn't "fit" the insurance company's "formula." So, Lakewoods spent weeks with the adjuster and his supervisor to convince them to pay the additional cost for replacement. They were very successful. Finally, I want to say that the crews Lakewoods uses were extremely capable and professional.

Bill was great to work with. While the project was delayed for 2 months because the siding provider was out of product, Bill kept me informed and got the work done immediately as soon as the product was in stock. The crew was hard-working, efficient and cleaned the site up. Bill stayed on top of their work and inspected everything. He also work ed with me to get the new door installed and found a decorative product to replace the old framing around the front door. I would hire Bill again.

Lakewoods was the ONLY contractor that was on time for the appointment and really seemed to want my business. They were on time, responsive and extremely professional. I would highly recommend getting a bid from them.

Lakewoods worked on my neighbor's roof. Did a good job there. Then worked on my roof next. Did a lousy job on mine.

They worked very quickly. They got it all done in one day both the house and the garage. They cleaned up the yard very well and they followed-up to make sure that everything was okay. Those are what stand out the most to me. I had a couple of other estimates done and they were inline. They were not necessarily the cheapest bid that I got, but the other one that was cheaper, he did not seem as professional and organized. At some point, you get what you pay for. They ultimately were not the cheapest, but I did not mind paying a little more because I got the sense that they were more a professional company.

They were excellent but they haven't started yet because of the weather. So we have to wait. I would use this provider again in the future.

If you need any services at your home---CALL LAKEWOODS! They came out quickly and determined that we had too much humidity in our attic, causing water leaks as the temperatures outside rose so quickly. Steve, from Lakewoods, came with only an hours notice...evaluated the problem....told us what we needed to do for next steps, gave us a referral...and charged us NOTHING. This is truly the most honest and helpful company I have ever dealt with---EVER!

Scott and team did a great job on our roof. I would happily work with them again.

The work was scheduled for a few weeks out. We were given the option to have the crew arrive on an earlier date if we would like. We choose this flexible option since it was mid-fall and outside work starts to become less predictable because of colder weather. The crew did arrive at an earlier date. It was two people. They completed the job in about three hours. The work appears to be good from what we can see. The only downside to the work was damage done to a outdoor table cover. We found a hole in the cover and a shingle underneath the cover near the hole. Our guess is that the shingle fell from the roof and sliced open the table cover. We reported this to the provider and we're told they would pay for a replacement cover by deducting the cost from our final bill. The did do that and we are happy.

The Good: Roofing job was excellent Price was competitive Quality materials were used Crew was quick and efficient Clean up was good The bad and the ugly, siding job was another story: The crew would arrive at the house about 9:30am or so, sometimes later The crew consisted of a guy or two, never the same people One day on of the guys on the crew brought his wife and toddler age child to the job and they spent the day, crazy unsafe Several questionable rain delays, I say questionable because on some of these days there were several other crews working around the neighborhood It took a total of two weeks to put vinyl siding on three sides of a average-mid sized Lakeville home Inspection revealed that severel things were missed, not minor details that you would catch on a punch list, but entire sections Three weeks, several phone calls, emails and two additional full days of work later, the job was substancially complete. Clean up was very poor, still picking up nails and bits of random debries Full disclosure: Our contact at the company said that this was a sub contractor that they had not used in the past, I think that that is just more reason to moniter the job ant intervene when/if necessary but, I am not in the field, what do I know. The workmanship seemed okay, no issues yet anyway, quality materials were used although details were lacking. I withheld final payment until the work was substancially complete, I made my intentions clear to the company and they did not hound me for it Price was low, you get what you pay for, in this case service and professionalism was not what I got I do not recomend, nor will I ever use Lakewoods Remodeling again

Excellent! I selected this company because of the high rating on Angie's list to come look at our roof and bid for the job. Not only was bid VERY competitive, but Scott really dug into the issues we had to come up with solutions. We had severe ice dams last winter. He recommended a company to come correct our insulation and air flow in the attic. What I really appreciated was that they do not just want the job, they want you 100% satisfied. There was a mistake on our roof vents during the job, I called and it was corrected within a day. Great value for the work and very easy to deal with. I recommend and would use again for other home projects.

Our home sustained significant damage in an August 2013 hail storm. We needed to replace the entire roof, the windows on the north side of our home, and all the gutters and downspouts. (The house also required painting, but we already had a different contractor lined up for that part of the project.) There were many storm chasers over many months calling and stopping by, eager for our business. Lakewoods Remodeling was recommended to us by a neighbor who had used them at a different time. Scott Rise has been exceptional throughout the entire project. He has proven to be a tremendous partner and advocate, often going to battle with our insurance company to be certain our house was returned to its pre-storm condition. Neither myself nor my husband are knowledgeable about the construction industry, but we learned very early on that we could trust Scott; he was truly looking out for our best interests. The initial insurance adjuster on our claim made significant errors and miscalculations and Scott worked directly with a successor adjuster to get everything corrected and agreed upon before the repair work began. Another neighbor complained to me about the contractor they were working with for their home repairs. She said that they were unresponsive and hard to get a hold of during the project. That was not the case with Lakewoods. Scott was always responsive and has exceptional follow-up skills. I rarely waited even 8 hours to hear back from him and he often communicated with me on the weekends. He even texted me from a funeral on one occasion, simply to let me know what was going on and when I could expect to hear back from him. The quality of the work has been very good and the various crews that were on our project were professional and respectful of our home. I can't think of a single situation working with Lakewoods where I was dissatisfied with any aspect of their work. There aren't ratings high enough for Lakewoods. Scott Rise has done everything we could hope for from a contractor and more. We definitely will use Lakewoods for any future projects--large or small.

I had my roof damaged by a hail storm and needed a full replacement. I had close to a dozen storm chasers drop off information on my door after the storm. I met with a couple of them but did not get a comfortable feeling about the reps or the company. I then joined Angie's list and found Lakewoods. Scott came out and was very clear and direct in our conversations about my options. I am a good judge of character and I felt Scott and his company would be able to provide the serrvices I needed. The roof was replaced on the dates scheduled while I was out of town. I came back to a great lookng new roof. I would absolutely reccomend Scott and Lakewoods to others looking for a reference.

Steve was extremely responsive and all the work was done in one day. The team was professional and hard-working. They cleaned up everything at the end of the day.

.We contacted Scott for an estimate and he came out to our house the next day. We had contacted one other roofing contractor but were not satisfied with their price or time frame. Scott arranged for us to have the work done the next week. We were very pleased with the end result. The crew arrived early morning and were finished by late afternoon. They were very respectful of our landscaping and deck and did a great job of cleanup. Very professional company, easy to work with and we would definitely use them again.

We were very happy with the service of getting us a bid. We opted to not use them due to additional costs due to the size and slope of our roof.

He remeasured it and revised the estimate contract cost after I gave him my calculation result. The revised cost is still much higher than the big deal so we decide to cancel the purchase.

Everything went really well. Steve was very thorough and went into the attic and double checked. He fixed the leak. I can't speak highly enough of him. If I have any concerns I can always call him.

Our roof needed replacement, as did an aging skylight. The work was done in 1 1/2 days. The new roof and skylight are looking good. We were especially pleased with the cleanup on both days. Many thanks to Steve and his crew for a job well done. A special thanks to Bill Mossberg for some minor roof repairs he did a couple times in the past two years. We were so happy with his work that we told him he'd probably be the one to replace our roof when the time came. Sure enough... :) We'd highly recommend Lakewoods to anyone needing a new roof.
