The job was done quickly and efficiently and the clean up was reasonably good. I noticed one problem, but when I pointed it out to them they responded quickly to resolve the issue.

We used Lakewoods a few years ago for a minor roof repair due to a leak. They did excellent work at that time. When we got hit by the hail storm, we had non-stop people at our door and on the phone offering to replace the roof. Mostly storm-chasers, I guess. Instead, I remembered the previous good work Lakewoods had done, and asked them to come out for a bid. It was also important to me that they have an actual location rather than working from a truck, and have been in business for years. He spent some time walking around the roof (unlike another person from a company I got from Angie's List who only looked from the ground) and said I needed a roof and he would meet with my insurance adjuster. They came together a few days later, and Lakewoods got the insurance person to agree to everything. When the crew showed up, they seemed to do good work, and certainly cleaned up each evening and at the end of the job. It's been almost a year and the roof is still great. No leaks or any other problems. Lakewoods also pointed out a problem with how my gutters were installed, and fixed that. The guy I dealt with was Shawn Rise, and from start to finish he was always in communication with me, and always timely. He also did most of the communication with the insurance company. Excellent work all around.

Lakewoods Remodeling installed a new roof on my home five years ago. Following a hailstorm this summer, I contacted Shawn again. He assessed the damage to my roof and worked with the insurance company, and the roofing crew again did an excellent job of installing new roofing. It went really well. Bill, the supervisor, was patient and professional to explain the details of the work in the beginning. The team did a great job to get it done on time and clean up thoroughly. We had to replace the skylight. Even though the interior wall of the skylight was not part of the contract, in the end Bill still helped us clean up the interior wall nicely and free of charge. The admin lady Sharon was excellent at helping us to get all the paper works done. We are very pleased with this experience. We would hire them again for any future re-modeling work in our house.

I had a great experience working with Scott and Lakewoods after my roof was damaged by a storm. Scott provided great customer service and always responded promptly to my questions. They tarped the damaged spots the next day to prevent leaks and made sure my insurance company covered all the damage. Scott was a straight shooter and answered any concerns/questions I had before, during, and after the project was completed. Crew were professional, friendly, and all spoke English. It went very well. Shawn came out the day after I called, explained what needed doing, and sent me a bid a few days later. The bid was quite a bit lower than two others I got. What I liked about it was that it explained in detail what the costs would be if additional work turned out to be needed (such as replacing decking). They got everything done in one day and cleaned up very well. The flashing around the perimeter is not 100% optically perfect, but the roof now looks *very* watertight and I'm confident that I won't be having leaks for a long time to come. I will definitely be getting a bid from them again when it comes time to do the main roof in a couple of years.

Right after the State Fair I had roof damage with leaking through the upstairs ceiling. I had been working with a unreliable company at first which never returned my calls. I called Lakewoods and found it immediately refreshing when I talked with Bill Mossberg. He really listened to my problem and was optimistic he would find a solution. His bid was extremely competitive and so I chose them. Choosing them was a great choice! They found a way to work me in to their busy schedule within a week. They arrived promptly on the stated day. The city of St. Paul checks every roofing project and the city determined I would need a re-deck. The Lakewoods crew was ready for that possibility and immediately installed the re-deck. What I did not know is that my duplex roof had 4 layers of shingles! Because of this the project took a day and a half. The completed roof looked great and they thoroughly cleaned the area after finishing. The only downside is one down spout got taken as well yet no big deal. After finishing they also worked with me since they noticed my insurance company had not properly compensated me. This discovery helped me get re-imbursed an extra amount of nearly $500. These are really great people who will work for you be it Sharon in the office, Bill Mossberg, or the contractor that completes the project. Thank you Lakewoods for your excellent service!

Scott was awesome to work with! He came out to our home at a time that was convenient for us. Scott had suggestions to help us stay within our budget and get a great quality outcome. Scott was responsive to emails, calls, and quick to get us estimates and invoices. Scott managed lots of details related to our project and the work turned out great. I have a strong attention to detail so appreciated that after Scott's team's completed the work he asked that I put together a punch list of any items needing to be corrected and those two small items were addressed right away. We are very happy with how our home turned out and I would definitely hire Lakewoods Remodeling again!

I called for an estimate on gutter gaurds and to have them look for hail damage. Two weeks went past and I hadn't heard from them so I called again. I called on a Friday and Scott said he would be out Monday. It's been another two weeks without a word from them. Clearly they don't want my business for some reason. I've moved on and suggest others do the same.

It went well. Easy to schedule and showed up on time. Quote came back in line with others as far as price and was very detailed.

Job went well. Scott Rise gave me an estimate for replacing my existing shingles with Owens Corning Duration shingles. His team arrived early morning and finished the job by 4:30 in the afternoon. The dumpster was removed an hour later, thankfully, as a storm was coming in and I did not want debris all over the neighborhood. The cleanup was very thorough as I was concerned with nails being left from the removal of the old roof. Roof looks great!

Received 4 comparable bids and Lakewoods came in low. Wasn't planning to go with the low bidder, but Bill was so friendly and knowledgeable that he won my trust. The work crew was quick and thorough and what I expected from roofers. Bill returned after the project was completed and made certain I was happy with all the details.

An appointment for an estimate of replacing all the windows in our home was scheduled for 5:30 pm Monday, May 16, 2016. No one came, no one called. Will be taking our business elsewhere.

The following are some of the key points associated with the efforts by Lakewoods Remodeling: - They were the third contractor to look at the leak I had into my house. The other two contractors were not able to identify the problem. Lakewoods Remodeling did. - They identified that the leak was due to the sliding and not the roof. However, there was a concern that removing and reattaching the 25 year old sliding would be difficult. The siding was no longer available and I didn't want to pay for all new siding. Lakewoods Remodeling did a detailed analysis on my situation and guaranteed that they could remove the old siding, make the repair, and reattach the old siding. - They successfully completed the repair and did such a good job that myself and my wife had no idea that the work had been completed while we were at work. It looked just like before and there was no evidence that they had been there. In summary, they solved a difficult problem, had the unique skills to correct the problem, and completed the repair efficiently. Also, the price was very reasonable.

I only give this company F's because I don't believe they did anything. He stopped at my house and went on the roof only to tell me I needed a new one. I realize it is coming time to do, but was hoping he would do the basic seals until I do a new roof this year. He informed me that he didn't have what he needed to complete the task, which seems a little strange because it was a basic $99 seal coupon. He told me he would stop back later in the week to finish the project, but I have no idea if he ever came back. I have no idea if he did anything other than just take my $99. Would definitely not recommend or when it comes time to bidding for my roof I don't plan to use. Avoid this coupon.
