Kyrios Heating and Air

I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Kyrios Heating and Air. It was my first time working with this contractor, and initially, he seemed knowledgeable, especially since he also teaches at Minneapolis Tech School. Unfortunately, my expectations were far from met. After I paid a 50% down payment of $2,300, he claimed he needed an additional $750 to secure the AC unit, even though I had already been waiting weeks. That should have been my red flag, but needing the unit installed due to the heat, I reluctantly paid the extra amount. Despite his reassurances and even saying, “You can take me to court if I don’t follow through,” he still has not delivered. Now, my next step is indeed to call a lawyer. This has been a costly and stressful ordeal, and I feel taken advantage of. I do not recommend Kyrios Heating and Air. I regret putting my trust in him, and I hope this review helps others avoid a similar experience.

This is a scam. he was given $2,400 down and somehow that didn’t cover the cost of the unit so he needed an additional $750 which says he doesn’t know how to manage his money. He was given the money. Told me he would be there at 8:30am on Friday and never showed up, didn’t call or text. He still hasn’t responded to any of my texts. He will take your money and not show up. Going to dispute the charges with the bank and take him to court and notify all the websites he is on so others don’t get scammed

Awful. Three house calls and nearly 24 hrs of work Justin has not fixed my heating problems. He left water all over my floor the first time I didn’t notice and some clothing on the floor molded where the water spread from where the water/steam bleeds across the floor and under some laundry. I never checked his work or boiler area and didn’t realize he didn’t use a bucket or rags to clean up after his work. 2nd time out he let a bigger water mess, didn’t clean up the water didn’t bring or use a bucket and didn’t wipe up water or take with him the boxes and wires and trash from his work. He didn’t tell me he left a mess, or ask to use my bucket or rags but this is his work shouldnt he have his own ? Didn’t appear so. Thank goodness I checked his work as more and more hot water and steam continued to s*** out I nearly was scalded bc he don’t tell me and I wasn’t expecting it - he didn’t even tell me more water is expected ….there would have been water damage had I not found it and put a small container under it and dump it out - The water and very hot steam continued for days, then I noticed water rushing like a River throughout my house constantly and sounded like draining out of my house almost 24 hrs a day - the temp got to 255 degrees and psi 30. I texted him and he didn’t respond. I had to get the warranty provider on his case and he came out again a week later even though the boiler was at dangerous temperature for me and my kids he didn’t care or respond . 3rd time thought he fixed it’s he installed a unit wrong causing it to heat excessively - that was a week or so ago I went on vacation and came back to learn my kids been without heat for several days and two children became sick. I texted him and no response. I asked him to please let Warranty provider know it’s above his knowledge and transfer the work to someone else. I hope I never have to work with Justin again. I’m very sad bc I am a firm supporter of BIPOC being one myself but this is a disgrace , unprofessional, dangerous, rude and those go above and beyond my tolerance no matter who you are. If I didn’t have a third party who contracted him he would leave me high and dry after having paid him. He’s trying to ghost me but thank God he will have to answer to someone else and fix it or give it up to someone who can get the job done right. Not acceptable. People need to know the truth.

Justin was very thorough in diagnosing a possible problem with our boiler. He explained exactly what he was doing, what to expect and why. Highly recommend!

Went well. My dryer vent was very dirty.

Our heating was out and Justin saved the day. He arrived quickly, and fixed our heating. Justin was very professional and we will call him if/when we ever need heating or A/C help. Definitely recommend.
