Overall we are very happy with the final result. I wasnt sure on how the refacing would look but after steve came in, showed us examples of his work before he started our kitchen, I was very confident that the job would look amazing . The cabinets look like brand new cabinets at about half the cost. I would definitely recommend kitchen solutions to anyone looking to give their kitchen a face lift !

Smoothly. Steve was prompt and the job took as long as he said it would. He did an excellent job cleaning and refinishing our cabinets.

It went very well - all dark marks were removed. We had Steve refinish my Mom's cabinets as well. He even applied new hardware and came back to fill a hole that we needed done.

Steve LaRose is a very non-personable person who only seemed interested in hurrying through his work. The window ledges were half done. I never saw sandpaper used, and many scratches and dents were ignored. There was never a polyurethane product applied to anything. After he left, I called because there was stain below and above the trim and he told me to use WD-40 to clean it. Of course it did not work and I felt I shouldn't have to do it. I went into the master bath to look and there was stain on the floor and carpet. The cabinets he did do were dripping stain and I had to wipe it off immediately before more damage was done. It also should have been sanded and coated with a polyurethane. He left at exactly 4 hours and the house and wood trim everywhere was a mess. I now have to hire a professional to redo this work. He will not be paid by us.

Steve was personable and professional. He did a great job, the kitchen looks fabulous. Steve clearly communicated what he would be doing and delivered as promised. He left the kitchen as clean as it as when he arrived. I would certainly work with him again.

Steve returned my call promptly and a visit was scheduled within a few days. While he wrote up an estimate, we were able to view a slide show of the work he had completed elsewhere. After receiving several bids, we decided to hire Kitchen Solutions to complete the work. The work was scheduled for the following week. Steve arrived promptly at the scheduled time. We did not have to remove items from inside the cupboards or drawers. We only had to remove counter top items. Steve covered counter tops, appliances, and the floors. He was careful to remove his shoes when off of the tarps. The work was completed within the day and things were picked up. We were told, however, not to put handles back on or to dust or vacuum until the following day due to stirring up dust particles which could stick to to the finish before it was completely dry. Steve was quite personable and easy to work with. The result is great! Kitchen and doors look like new. This was a perfect solution for our kitchen and doors before putting our home on the market to sell.Much more cost effective than replacement. I would not hesitate to hire Kitchen Solutions for wood restoration in my home.

He arrived on time and worked quickly and efficiently. Everything was cleaned up and nothing was left behind. He gave us tips on cleaning and care for future and told us not to sweep or use the cabinets until the following day to ensure the finish dried completely. He also sent us some info on how to prepare ahead of time. We had to clear the countertops ahead of time (tarps were put on counters and floors to protect them). But we did not have to remove things from inside the cupboards and drawers which was great. The results exceeded our expectations!

Steve did a wonderful job! He showed up on time, worked throughout the day and my 21-year-old cabinets look new. I was especially pleased with the work he did on a couple of doors that were discolored over the stove. Not only did he clean them, but he sanded and stained them and they perfectly match the rest of my cabinets. They are beautiful! Steve was very reasonably priced and I would highly recommend his work.

Steve called us to set up the free consultation promptly. The work was done within a week, they were on time, they did outstanding work and clean up. Fantastic price for the amount of professional and quality work done.

From our perspective, this was a very easy remodeling project. The area was usable by us each evening, which was so nice. Steve is very professional and very easy to work with. The quality of work was exceptional. We had a couple of items that we wanted tweaked, and Steve was happy to comply. He arrived promptly each day and left the area cleaned up at the end of each day. The refaced cabinets look great! We were really pleasantly surprised by the look of the reconditioned cabinets. We were a little skeptical that the process would produce as promised, but the cabinets look terrific! I would highly recommend Steve for cabinet work.

Wonderful..they were on time (actually a little early which we did not mind at all). They were friendly and responsive to my observations that they missed a couple of areas on the stair risers and they responded without question and graciously. The wood looks great! They provided instruction as to future maintenance/cleaning and the need to not use the kitchen/baths until the next day and not vacuum/sweep in the areas to prevent dust collecting on the new finish which had not dried. Very personable men and we will use them again in the future if we have a need.

We're updating our kitchen, but refacing/replacing cabinets is SO expensive. We chose to put most of our budget into granite countertops, a new sink and new lighting. It's a 29 year old house; the cabinets had areas where the finish had worn off; they looked 29 years old. We looked at several options, including painting and refinishing. Steve came out to the house and showed us what Kitchen Tune-up could do, and we decided to go ahead. Now the cabinets look new - it's amazing! The finish has been restored, and all the worn areas have disappeared. There was a small glitch with the scheduling, but we were able to get it done on the date originally planned, and it only took about a half-day to complete the entire project. We're very happy with the results.

It took us a couple of tries to get things rolling but Steve was very professional and made sure that we were satisfied. I would highly recommend Kitchen tune-up. He came on time and finished when he said he would. The entire project took one day. I am amazed at how he could make the cabinets look like new again. This was a much better option that refacing for us. One estimate for refacing was over $20,000.00 - the refinishing was a fraction of the cost - less mess and much less time.

Project was begun when scheduled and completed on time. Very pleased with results.

My kitchen really looks much better. Oak wood cabinets look great. Looks esp. good with my new stainless steel appliances and new floor that I recently put in. It took a while longer than expected to actually get the oak cabinet pantry but this was not Steve's fault. Steve was quite pleasant to work with.

In the end, we were happy with the work. Originally I was not happy with the quality of the work performed, so I asked him to redo some of the doors that did not look as good as the others. He agreed to do so, and did a good job, which speaks to his customer service skills.

I called Kitchen Tune-Up based on high ratings on Angie's list. Steve contacted me right away to set up an appointment. He was punctual and thorough in determining what I was trying to accomplish - which was to avoid having to replace multiple wood doors/floorboards throughout the house that had significant cosmetic damage due to 17 years of wear and tear from raising children and two large dogs. Steve was straightforward about what he could and couldn't do, which was greatly appreciated. He provided a written estimate which I found to be reasonable, and we scheduled a date for the work. Steve arrived on time on the appointed day and immediately got to work. He was very careful to protect surrounding areas with drop cloths. He did an excellent job of cleaning up after he worked on each area. The work ended up taking more time than he originally estimated as some of the damage was more extensive and trickier than he originally thought. The end result was nothing short of amazing - I had not believed the doors and floorboards could look as good as they do. I wish I had taken before and after photos to illustrate the difference. I highly recommend Kitchen Tune-Up for this kind of work.

I contacted kitchentune-up to get a quote to reface my kitchen and bathroom cabinets. Steve contacted me shortly after I sent in a request for a quote. He scheduled our meeting at a time of my convenience (Saturday), which was really appreciated. While Steve was taking various measurements that he needed to provide a quote, I was able to view his "before" and "after" book and was very impressed with what I saw. He provided several different samples of the various woods and styles that I would be able to choose from. Because I wasn't sure what I wanted, he quoted me from the "middle" -- totally acceptable. I knew that when I made a final decision, the quote might change but not by much. Steve showed up on time for our meeting and was very professional. His prices are certainly within an acceptable range for this type of project. I did decided later that redoing the kitchen floor was very important to me at this time. Unfortunately, kitchentune-up does not do floors, so I went with another vendor.

Excellent workmanship but other commitments slowed the completion.

We're the folks who gave Steve an F for not following up with us after he'd missed our scheduled appointment. Once he realized what had happened, he did call to apologize. We scheduled another time to meet, which worked out great. Today he came and restored our cabinets. He arrived on time, protected our floors and countertops with drop cloths before starting work, went about the restoration process professionally, and cleaned up after he was done. Today, he's earned an A.

Steve came out an explained how the kitchen restoration process worked and gave us a quote for the job. After considering other companies and restoration/replacement alternatives, we chose Kitchen Tune-Up. Work was scheduled and Steve and a helper showed up to do the job. Steve had to leave early and had his helper finish up. He called later to ask us if we were happy with the restoration. We mentioned that there were a few areas that did not turn out as well as we were expecting. He came out and touched up/re- restored these areas to our satisfaction. We appreciated the way Kitchen Tune-Up asked about our satisfaction and worked to make sure we were satisfied with the job.
