Kenny D's Hardwood Floors

We shopped quite a bit for a hardwood floor repair and refinish professional. We found Ken and after hearing what he was going to do we decided to go with him. Needless to say, it looks AMAZING! The wife couldn't be happier. We don't even recognize our room! Such a good guy, too!

I called Ken to get an estimate, he showed up the next day and gave me a bid which was very competitive. I had him sand and apply polyurethane to my 3 rooms, a hallway, and a staircase. He got everything done on time and kept to his bid. He was very professional and cleaned up after himself. The floors look brand new!

Ken was easy to work with. I had no trouble scheduling for the days I wanted the work completed and he was able to complete the project in a 3 day period to have minimal impact on my family. He and his partner showed up on time and were very polite and explained everything about their process to me. They tarped off the large opening to my living room to prevent dust from migrating into the rest of the home. They repaired an ugly water damaged spot so that I can't even tell it was ever damaged. My floor looks stunning. I am so impressed with how beautiful it turned out! We went with the less expensive oil-based poly so there was a strong odor but it seems to dissipate with ventilation and once the poly dried it wasn't bad. I like the amber warm glow of the oil based over the water based. I would absolutely hire him again if I ever needed floors redone. Highly recommended.
