Junk Genius

Great - They were on time. Worked quickly. Took everything we asked.

I was impressed with the two young men. They worked hard - especially the guy from Czechoslovakia (sp) but they were very helpful. I thought the price was a little high for one hour, but I needed it done so I paid it.

Each time I have hired Junk Genius I have been 100% satisfied!

They called the day before and the morning of service. Arrived and got to work. Did what I asked and worked hard.

Very well. Offered to be home Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday; Junk Genius said they'd come Tuesday, and showed up at 9:15. They were in and out in 20-25 minutes.

Junk Genius did a very good job of collecting and removing all of the junk that has collected in our garage over the years. They sorted the items into different areas for recycling, donation and junk. They were very prompt and worked quickly. What would have taken us several days to do and several trips to the landfill, etc. took them a little over an hour. If I asked them to move items to shelves, etc., they did it without complaint. After removing the items, they swept out the garage. It wasn't a thorough job but it was sufficient to remove debris from these areas. I would highly recommend them.

The objects I hired him for didn't fill up the whole trailer so he told us we could put anything else in the remaining space. They cleaned up and did a really nice job. I'd have them again and may call them pretty soon.

It was fabulous! Neil and Ben showed up when they said and we took a walk thru of the house with me pointing out what I wanted removed. They were happy to be there to help. I am very happy that I called. No hassles and they were efficient and fast. Plus they both had a great sense of humor so it made it fun. Quality company.

They were fine. I talked to the owner and he said he would take out my paint cans but when they got here, they said they couldn't take these and that it was going to be $10 a piece. So I ended up paying like a hundred and something dollars more. I was moving so I had to do it. They left a veneer behind and they did come back and get it when I called them. I wasn't told that I'd have to pay extra for the paint cans so that was kind of a shock. I got overcharged.

Couldn't have gone better. Everything was quickly and carefully removed from our home. We will definitely call them back for further removal of unwanted items after sorting.

Went above and beyond what I thought they could do. They even hauled an old sailboat away that had a hole in it by sawing it in half!

They were responsive to my need for a quick turnaround, called 30 minutes in advance of visit, and took everything as requested.

Mike and Stefan were very prompt, courteous and professional. This is the second time that we have hired them and we would recommend them to anyone. Thanks guys!

The team arrived on time and were very fast in completing the job.

They worked extremely fast and had most of the junk removed from the home. There were a couple of items that they didn't have room for but most of the junk was cleaned out. Left the area as picked up as possible. The two men were professional and efficient. Would definitely use them again.

It was great. I pushed the time out due to an appointment. They called early to see if they could stop by early and it worked out perfectly. I showed them all the stuff, and we agreed on the price. The price matched what we discussed over the phone the day before. They came, loaded everything up, took my check and were on their way. Good feeling to clear out the junk crowding my home. Both guys were friendly and professional, did a good job with no issues.

The job was done perfectly! The guys called as they were on their way, efficiently moved everything pre-arranged, and then, because there was a bit less volume than originally estimated, tossed in some other items we had needing to go away. The guys were friendly and professional; they worked quickly and tidied up everything as best they could (more than I expected). We would definitely call them again.

I had contracted for 4 cubic yards to be removed, but be aware that 4 cubic yards is not that much. I knew I had more than that, and I ended up paying them another $100 (yes, they were willing to negotiate) to take everything. They were funny, on time, called before they came, and cleaned up after. I'm not sure about the price since I did no comparison shopping, but everything else was as good as it could be. And now I can walk across my garage! They take the stuff to a place where it is sorted and whatever can be reused is.

I sent Mike Reimann an email with a brief description of the job, and then called him to schedule it. He predicted more than one truck load. He was right... Appointment was scheduled with a 9 AM to 11 AM arrival window. At 10:45 I called him and he checked with the scheduled crew - they were running late due to a larger than expected job at their first stop. They should arrive between 11:30 and 12 noon - likely closer to noon. At noon the crew itself called and said it would be another 40-45 minutes. They arrived at 1 PM. Once there, Neil and Eddie were GREAT! It was just frustrating to have to wait so long. But our job also ended up taking longer than expected, so I can see how that can happen. We walked through the house, basement, and garage, and they decided to focus on the metal first. There were 8 4-drawer file cabinets and several 2-drawers, plus many other metal items (e.g. an old "mangle", chairs, portable clothes pole). The surprise for me was watching Neil take the metal "innards" out of the sleep-sofa, which both reduced the weight so it could be moved more easily, and so the metal parts could get scrapped. By the time they had all the metal in the truck, it was a 3/4 load. They left to take it to the scrap metal place, saying they'd be back in about 1 hour. They arrived back in exactly that time, and got everything else (a full truck). I was impressed at how they packed it, so it really was a FULL truck - no wasted space All the while they were pleasant and downright fun to work with. And they're STRONG! Some stuff was really heavy, and very bulky. As for price, I was thinking only 1 truck load, so had about $500 in mind. Mike had predicted more than 1, and he was obviously right. So I wasn't surprised at double my guess-timate for 1 3/4 trucks. It was worth every penny to get this stuff gone. We would definitely hire them in the future if needed.

Great! I called at 11:00 a.m., they came, as promised, around 2:30 p.m., and removed everything I needed. They were personable and funny! I told them their company should have been on the first page of my search. The company communicated with me continuously via phone and email to get everything arranged. They even sent a new truck to meet the promised arrival time; the first truck got stuck at their previous job. I will use them again if needed!

The guys who came were great! They were prompt, courteous, fast, and knew what they were doing. All around very good experience.

The workers were very responsive and cooperative. They were pleasant to have around. They always checked to make sure that they were taking what I wanted and not taking what I wanted to keep.
