Junk Genius

They were very flexible in scheduling (I needed to change the date a few times). They were very responsive. They were prompt and efficient. They did everything we asked. I would definitely use them again. The only other comment would be that the details of how they would approach cleaning out our garage were a little vague, and the two guys that came also seemed a little uncertain of just exactly what should or should not be included. It was not big deal. Everything worked out fine. Just saying.

During my phone reservation with Angie's, I mentioned the size of the items but wasn't told that size restrictions (relative to the size of the truck) would apply. When the haulers arrived, my husband balked at being asked to pay more than agreed. This seems to be a communication problem with Angie's, not Junk Genius. The haulers came a second time and completed the job at the higher price. They were congenial, efficient and thorough. The price seems high when compared to what we paid someone else to move our household, but disposal is part of the cost. Junk Genius called to say they would be late to the first appointment, but the extra time waiting was inconvenient. On the second visit, they arrived within the two-hour window as agreed. I would hire Junk Genius again but I would communicate directly with the service provider, Mike Reimann, when making arrangements and be as specific as possible about the size of the items, the price, and the schedule. He is conscientious.

It went well and I would use them again.

They were friendly and did a good job.

The two men were early which was great. Very nice and professional. Knew what they were doing. I would not hesitate to call them again. I thought the price was very reasonable considering the size and weight of what they were removing and that they were getting not just removing it but getting rid of it too.

It's a pretty basic service, so not much to say. The guys who came out were on time and removed the junk that I'd collected. I got exactly what I wanted out of the Big Deal.

It went well. The two people who came to get the junk were quick, polite, and thorough. They were late, through no fault of their own but because a previoius job had been more than they bargained for. So was mine, apparently. I wuld use them again. It's so nice to be able to see the inside of my storage room again!

These guys are wonderful. Very professional and very polite did a great job removing debri and exercise equipment out of my basement. I like their pricing model too The only c**** I found is I don't think their website is working the greatest. I filled out the web form for pickup 2 days ahead and never got a response. I called Mike and he couldn't find my request in their system. The vendor should test this to see it is working properly The day of the removal they were running behind with a big job in Bloomington They called me like three times giving me their expected times of arrival both from the Mike the manager and the worker too. They respect the customer, I like that in a business. Too many businesses leave the customer to dangle wondering when they are coming.

They were a bit late, but called to let me know, so I was kept informed. They worked very hard and did a great job for a reasonable price. They had to haul many heavy items up the basement stairs, and get items out of the rafters in the garage, among other things. Even though it was too late in the day on a friday for a 2nd trip to the dump, they came back and took the 2nd load in their truck. They probably had to wait until Monday to empty their load, but they didn't make me wait to get rid of it. Very considerate. This was the 2nd time they hauled junk away for me and I would definitely hire them again and recommend them to others.

The two guys arrived earlier than the stated time,which was very nice.The large items in the basement were taken out in no time at all,with no problem.The garage items were quickly taken care of and loaded on the truck. A real positive experience at a good price! If needed I would definitely use Junk Genius again.

I was impressed with how quickly you could schedule and their punctuality. They were very friendly and professional - got the job done quickly and explained how they recycle what they can, etc.

I had Junk Genius come over to clear out a pile of junk from my basement and yard. They were fast and very flexible - I'd point at what I wanted removed and they gave me a reasonable price on the spot. I was happy to be rid of some of our junk and will be using them again in the future.

Prompt, courteous young men. Sweeping job was only haphazard. I had two items on my patio--too heavy for me to bring to my garage. They refused to take them.

The Junk Genius guys did a very good job of packing and hauling away the junk. They're big on customer service--good communication, focussed on the job. Afterwards, the owner contacted me and clarified that my reusable discards would, in fact, be appropriately donated, including charming proof via texted pix. Go, Junk Genius!!!

Wow, what a great experience! It was great service. They were right on time. They were there right at 1 like they said they would be. There were two workers and they were both wonderful to work with. They both helped to load the items up. It was an incredible experience. I don't even understand the price as it was so reasonable. I don't know how they do it! I could not find anything else even below $350 and that was when they just dropped a box. This service, they brought a truck and two gentlemen to help you load up the stuff for a reasonable price!

It went great. They responded right away after I purchased the Angie's list deal. I scheduled the pick up for the next day. They did everything they said they would do. They gave me a 2 hour window of time to expect them and called 30 minutes prior to arrival. They were on time and took away everything I had asked them to. There were no extra charges. Great service, I will use them again in the future.

Junk Genius showed up late for the appointed time because they went to the wrong address. The address they were to go to is different than my address. The address of service and contact name and phone number were noted on the purchase request (done via a Angies List special) with the contact phone number. I know they had the correct address because they called the contact to find out why there wasn't an answer at the door. After getting to the correct address, the Junk Genius team proceeded to load up. when directed to the basement for the rest of the material to be disposed of, they could not take it because we reached the four cubic yards that we paid for. I do not believe the max was reached ( I looked and measured before purchasing the Angies List Offer). The attitudes of the Junk Genius folks as explained to me by my Step-daughter was, they did not want to do the work required and that they offered that they will take the stuff if she paid an additional $200. The Problem: Junk Genius did not live up the offer proposed and they were not very professional in the interaction with the customer.

They called before they came to let me know they were on the way. Then I pointed and they remove junk from my garage. I had some containers filled with stuff and they even pulled the stuff out to be sure I didn't want it. Then they swept the floor. I love the pointing way of cleaning out my garage. Fantastic.

They were fast and efficient, professional and friendly. The deal was for hauling out 4 cubic yards. The only problem, and this was my fault, was that I thought that 4 cubic yards was a lot bigger than it turned out to be. 4 cubic yards isn't really large enough to "clean out your basement" - it's about the size of a washer and dryer. We had at least twice that much stuff to get rid of so we had them take it all away and paid the extra amount, which still turned out to be a good deal.

I like how they were able to accommodate the schedule.

The guys at TC Junk Genius came to my house 3 times in the last month to help declutter our home for listing. Each time, the guys were professional, timely, and neat. For the amount of junk we removed, they were very reasonable on price versus some of the other competition. The guys were very polite and careful -- no wall dings or dirt on the carpets. Very good service.

Everything went well, the owner was easy and fun to deal with. We will keep his info on file for future use.
