Junior The Movers

Junior The Movers was awesome. The gave me an estimate by phone and then came by to give a more specific quote. A snow storm hit the night before our move. When the guys showed up, the loading dock had been plowed in. They didn’t miss a beat. Jose backed the truck up to the front door and the team efficiently and conscientiously moved everything out through the front lobby. When we got to my new apartment, I realized it was smaller than expected. The guys were great, patiently moving and re-setting furniture to help me figure out how it would all fit. Despite blowing snow and sub-zero windchills, these guys got it done and done well. I won’t hesitate to call them next time I move.

Jose and his crew moved my family faster than expected and with nothing but smiles on their faces. They were professional and kind and I could not have asked for a better experience. I will recommend them to anyone looking for movers and I certainly know who to call next time I plan to move. Thank you for making our stressful move a good one and setting our minds at ease, you guys were amazing!!!

My experience with Junior the Movers was excellent! Jose was very prompt in answering all my questions and scheduling the appointment was a breeze. Their pricing was the best of all the quotes that I had gotten for the job and the job was completed with 100% satisfaction. I'd gladly use them again for any of my moving needs.

Moves all went smoothly. Team was courteous, and good about keeping in communication on timing for each move. Appreciated the ability to coordinate multiple smaller moves, as well as getting help moving a few heavier pieces of furniture. Polite and friendly team, who worked hard to get the job done.

Very responsive via text and they were able to come move items within a day of when I first messaged about a time and dollar estimate. They were very positive and friendly, and knew how to best move a very heavy item up the stairs without any damage to walls or item.

Jose and partner moved several pieces of heavy wood furniture down a tricky flight of stairs for me today. I was impressed by their speed, care, and efficiency. I was also happy that I didn't have to pay a two-hour minimum, which is what the other moving services wanted to charge me. I will definitely hire Junior The Movers again! (I meant to review this company a while back and am just now getting to it.)

Just turned out to be a very difficult job for our movers due to the large size of the treadmill and two flights of steps with landings in the middle. After reviewing the size of the treadmill my wife and I honestly thought it couldn’t be done. Our movers figured out a way to do it anyway. We are extremely happy with their work. Thank you Jose!

Things went well! They were professional and efficient, even though things didn't fit in the truck. They worked hard and pressed on for a bit extra time since we had underestimated some of the items we'd be moving. Will most likely use them again, good team to work with.

Jose and his team moved everything safely -no nick's or scratches in furniture or on doorways. And they moved it during bitter cold days without any complaining.❄🌬 Our piano was even still in tune! Jose has a friendly disposition and is a great supervisor over his team. They are well-trained in how to move items carefully. We were so appreciative of their work that we bought them pizza to celebrate a job well done. I would not recommend moving in sub-zero weather, but if you have to move in adverse conditions, please call Jose. His team probably does pretty good work in favorable conditions as well! ☺🚚🚛☀️

Spectacular experience. None of the typical shakedown pricing techniques that are well known in the moving industry! Pleasant surprise as I’ve had a lot of moving experience in my day. Completely trustworthy, hardworking and professional crew.

Jose was great to work with. We'd scheduled for Friday, but we called him on Wednesday and asked if we could change to Saturday. He was very nice, told us he'd check his schedule and call us back, which he did. He gave us a time on Saturday and arrived as promised. The move went well with no damage to any of our furniture or floors. He was very pleasant and charged us what he'd originally quoted on the phone, $350. For the amount of work required (up and down stairs with very heavy furniture), we thought that was a good price.

Moving is a time of great stress. For those who want to add even more stress to an already stressful situation, I recommend Junior the Movers. For everyone else, my advice is to STAY AWAY. I scheduled Junior and his "movers" for 1:00 pm on a Monday so we could get help with all of our furniture. Early that morning, they (he) left a message saying they would be delayed until 2:00, and would be one "mover" short. We started loading, and then sometime around 2 or 3, a car full of young children and possibly Junior pulled up, asked for the person who ordered movers, and told me a tale of scheduling woe that ended with me not being able to get moving help until 4 pm. You probably know the rest of this tale, but the "movers" didn't show up at 4, and in the end we finished without the help of these "movers". I had them scheduled for noon the next day to move into our new house, but I received a call in the early evening that they wouldn't be able to fulfill that promise either: I would get two "movers" instead of three and they would arrive at 1:30. I promptly realized I had made a fantastically giant mistake and called up friends to pick up the slack.

The move went fast and the truck was as full as could be. They did very well. And the items were unloaded well too.

They helped me last minute when another mover had flaked out on me. They were considerate with my belongings, efficient, and pleasant to deal with. This was a temporary move, and I will be using them again in a few months.
