When I they finished, they told me that the caulking where the tub meets the floor and walls had needed to be done, as well. I had heard the drill going and they told me they had taken out some of the grout, saying it shouldn't have been directly grouted at the tub line. The caulk lines were thick and uneven. It looked awful and I asked them if they could narrow the caulk line with a razor. They did and when they finished I realized that the job they did only made it worse. I simply thanked them and they left. I knew immediately that I needed to have it redone. It made me sick that I had assumed a company on Angie's list wouldn't be anything but top notch. Even when checking the ratings on the site, my guess is that in some cases the owners and/or top people do not come out to do a job. I'm now very hesitant to purchase Angie's Deals unless I do a lot of research into the company. I put off writing a review and even dealing with a fix due to other financial commitments. I am having an estimate done tomorrow through Angie's Concierge and the Snap Fix program.

It went really well. Scheduling was made with a minimum of hassle. They arrived on time and did a great job caulking our bathroom. The work was high quality and done to our specifications. We would definitely hire them again.

It was fine. They did everything they said they would. Two people came out.

This turned out good. They showed up when they said they would and they were easy to talk to. A section of our marble countertop had broken off. They reattached this. They also fixed an outside step that needed re-patched. They were able to stay within the big deal price.

Jonathan and Curtis did a GREAT job and I am thrilled to finally have my fire door because I had a hard time even finding someone who would take the job. However in the beginning I felt like I was the one who had to initiate much of the communication. Also although I was promised my door would be installed in January there was a misunderstanding on the suppliers end when the door was ordered and it got delayed a month. That being said the guys worked hard they did a GREAT job and they left the area very clean. Jonathan and Curtis were very professional could not have been nicer and I would definitely hire them again. I gave them an overall rating of B but they are actually VERY good.

They mostly added caulk. For the regrouting they had me put on the sealer. Sadly I just had another firm stop in to regrout again. There approach will offer a permanent solution to the issue.

Friendly, on time, worked with me to plan out and execute all the projects we discussed. Did a very nice job and I felt that he worked to do what was right for me. Professional and curteous.

Fine -- turned out to need a part replaced.

Easy to work with, and very open to ways to help stay in budget or make changes to work scope. As they are a small company they are not the fastest, but they make up for it in their flexibility and wiliness to make thing right (even when it really is not wrong) and the client happy. They also were mineful of my pets.

Althouh we did not go with JNJ, our experience with John was very positive. He was prompt, courteous, and very knowledgeable.

We hired JNJ to move 3 exterior garage lights that had been installed incorrectly. Since we were doing this, we decided to add two additional exerior lights and several interior outlets. This involved cutting holes, running wires, and then patching and painting the holes and siding when it was all done. Everything went well and we are very happy with the results. We would hire them again.

Went well - seems like there could have been a little more detailed inspection and repair of minor issues but the main issue was resolved

He was easy to reach, and it's very easy to talk with him. He did what he said he would do, at the time he said he'd do it. He offered us good advice about what to do next with the kitchen repairs. He helped us save money by staying in contact with us about what was happening with the work. We felt like he cared a lot about doing quality work. We were dealing with extensive damage, and he did a good job communicating with us what he might do in this situation, and then he drew up a bid that made it very easy for us to pick what kind of help we'd like from him, and what we might decide to do ourselves.

We had them replace some rotten trim for us. It turned out fine.

Overall, it was a bad experience. We have a deck on the house and we were looking at having it redone. What we got is three drawings of the same layout of our deck with three different railings for $100. To me, just changing up the railings with three different styles of railings had no value.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and they did a great job. They were really efficient, organized and systematic about how they went about doing the work. A couple of them did the work and were done very quickly. They came back later to make sure everything was okay and that we were able to use the bathrooms. It looks awesome after they were done.

I bought a Big Deal. I had some soffits that were loose and a couple pieces fell the night before they came to reattach them. Jonathan was accommodating to my schedule. He and Brett(?) were both nice and competent. Going up the 40ft ladder on a windy day didn't seem to phase them. I was pleased with their personalities and their work.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it was okay. It wasn't anything special. They didn't charge us more than the big deal. We could have done it ourselves.

They workers were on time, friendly and professional and did the work quickly and it looks great still two years later.

Work was very nice, everything looks wonderful Time line was longer than budgeted for but with price and overall outcome it was worth it.

The owner came out March 20th 2012, took measurements and we discussed what my plans were. I'm hardy so I was going to build the deck myself. Plus the Big Deal / Service I purchased was only for the Custom Patio/Deck Design with Measurements & Plans. So I think he was not to happy that we would not be doing the deck build. He told me it would be a week or two and he would email me the design and plans. A few weeks went by and I had not heard from him so I called (left messages) and email with no reply. Then a few month go by and still no word from him about the deck design and plans. It took me one email on 6/20/2012 stating that I was going to contact the BBB (Better Business Bureau), giving a negative review on Angies List, plus a refund if I didn't hear from him in a week. I thought that was pretty fair. The very next day I received an email saying that "Sorry for the delay- I will have the deck design and plans soon." I received the Deck Design with Measurements & Plans via email on 7/5/2012.
