Description of Work: I had to wait like 6 months for the work to start!!! There were issues with the dumpster being out in the street way too long. They put the extra trash that neighbors put in the dumpster in my trash area, and I had trouble with the city. They still aren't done to this day!! I have leaking pipes from the plumbing work done.

Description of Work: Contractor with 2 employees arrived late and spent less than an hour total on the job. Contractor left after about 15 minutes and the employees remained for the remainder of the time. The work was not very neat in some places and several spots of caulk had to be cleaned up by us. We thought they would grout some tile, but they instead went for caulking some areas around sinks and around the base of the showers. | |We asked the contractor if he would give us an estimate for replacing a bathtub and repairing/replacing the tile above it, but he was in too big a hurry to leave and simply gave us his business card for us to call him to make an appointment for an estimate.

Description of Work: I called to inquire about the hole in the tile in my tub shower made by the plumber doing his repair. He was looking at my bathroom job inside of 90 minutes. Very impressive. He taped up the hole without my even asking. This is a small job, but a major disruption to my life. Good listener.

Description of Work: He came out to look at the potential project, and as we talked through the possibilities, it was clear that while he would be willing to do the work, it was not in my best interest that we proceed with the project. He clearly assessed and explained what would be needed, and he talked about what the code would require, which included a few things that would make the cost prohibitive. I appreciated his honesty.

Description of Work: We met with JNJ and talked about getting a design from him for our kitchen, but there was no follow-up conversation between us and the work was never done, as a result.

Description of Work: I purchased the big deal after I originally contacted the service provider to come out and give me an estimate on a different project. When he came out to bid the other work, we set up a time for the big deal. The Friday before the work was scheduled, I called to confirm. The contractor did not answer and I left a message. No call back. Monday comes and the contractor does not show at the appointed time. I called again. Again there was no answer. Again I left a message. Again there was no call back. Seems to me Angie's List should be a little more careful who they let offer a big deal.

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal, so the amount spent was kind of irrelevant. They sent out two workers for two hours, and repaired the grout and caulking in my tub and shower. The work looked great, and they even asked if there were other areas in the house to repair as there was a bit of time left.

Description of Work: Purchased a deal on Angie's List for ceramic tile grouting from JNJ Carpentry. When the technician got to our home, he said that the ceramic tile needed replacement and not regrouting. He gave us an estimate to redo our bathroom and left. We did not have the work done.

Description of Work: It's hard to say how good they are. I left messages twice to get an estimate on a bathroom remodel but they never called back. After several weeks I lost interest. No harm done I guess - there are a lot of contractors out there.

Description of Work: Jonathan came out as scheduled. Talked about the space and project and submitted his proposed plan as promised. Very well done. He added his professional comments in helping to define the project. I've postponed the actual remodel project until next year, so the review does not include that aspect of the review. I am very satisifed so far.

Description of Work: Made the mistake of purchasing the Big Deal without checking on this business. When he finally came to look at my kitchen to create a plan, I was totally underwhelmed. I gave him a few requirements, but he had no suggestions. He just did some measuring and said I would get the plans via email in 4 weeks. It's been way more than 4 weeks, I have no plans. My impression is that he is way over his head if he wants to promote himself as a kitchen designer. Does not have the skills. Beware of any "Big Deals" from this company.

Description of Work: I purchased a certificate from Angies List for 4 hours of carpentry. I had 2 interior doors to be installed in place of 2 old doors. One door was installed fine. The second was the wrong size (my fault). The men left after 1 hour of work and did not clean up after themselves. There were nails and sawdust all over the carpet. Packing matericals and old door frames were left sitting. I had to cut them into pieces and carry to garbage. I felt that since their scheduled work time was way short of what we had anticipated, they really should have spent time cleaning up and helping me dispose of the refuse.

Description of Work: They were great. They arrived on time and were ready to work. We had a problem with the faucet installation that a plumber later finished. But he had told me that might be the case before hand, so it was not his fault. Anyway, they then hung some window coverings and few other things to use up the coupon. They could not have been better in this situation. they were professional, efficient, and flexible. What more could you ask for? I highly recommend them for the type of work they normally do.

Description of Work: I am very happy to report that they called this morning and got out to the house to do the inspection. Great service...wonderful employees!!
