I believe it went ok, but I wasn't home when they stopped out to examine the roof.

I called them and scheduled an appointment. They came and did the roof inspection and suggest me to replace the roof. They said the roof must be replaced before the winter and come up with an estimate around $8500(30 years architecture shingles) for the entire roof which is about 2500 sqft. I know my roof needs to be replaced soon, but not so sure about the urgency, so I ended up get two other roofing company to inspect the roof. They also think the roof should be replaced but can certainly wait till next year. One company give an estimate of more than $9000 to repalce the roof, the other is only $6700 with also the 30 years architecture shingles. I ended up wait one more year and have the roof replaced with the company which has the lowest bids but also have a A rating at angieslist.

I got a Big Deal from Angie's List, $100 for a couple hours of work, thinking I'd use it on having them work on a trouble spot in my roof that my dad had repaired, but I wasn't convinced it was done properly. When they came out to look at it, they said it looked fine, and I could use the 2 hours of labor later on something else if I wanted to. Eventually I decided to use it on replacing the door between my garage and basement (bought the door at Home Depot, had JNJ install it). Scheduling it was kind of a pain, but once we settled on a day, they were prompt and the work was done efficiently. No complaints.

They grouted a shower. The work was done nicely.

I had some rotted wood on the underside of an eave due to ice dams from a previous owner. I figured I should do something about it, so I bought a Angie's Big deal in January for JNJ, figuring they might be able to fix it. Jonathon was flexible with scheduling and emailed back quickly when I had questions about when he could do the work outside. When Jonathon came over to assess the work he hopped up on a ladder, figured out what needed to be done, and consulted with me about the many options. He was honest about the possibility of it turning in to a larger job due to the rot, and I felt confident that he would not have told me I needed to do something I did not. Luckily, it seems like we did not need to pull out entire support beams or the like. He provided me with options that allowed me to do the easy stuff (prime and paint) to save money, and the end product looks great!

The process went smoothly and the contractor was professional and courteous. Their work has stood up well - there have been no problems.

We had just put our house on the market and needed to freshen up the tile in the bathroom shower surround. They did a great job cleaning or fixing old moldy grout as well as recaulked all the edges throughout the tub and shower. The shower looked wonderful. Almost like new. And that is hard to do on 20 + year old tile and grout. Very professional and cleaned up when they were done. Gave us tips on what to do to keep it looking good in the future. Would definitely recommend and would use them again on other services if needed in the future.

I bought an Angie's List "Big Deal". I had them replace the grout in the master bathroom of our new home (original grout from 1931) which was breaking apart. I only hired the 2 workers for 2 hours so they were only able to complete an area about 15 sq.ft. but I think that was a reasonable amount to accomplish and the work matched perfectly.

They were prompt. Did the work well and pointed out an area of concern about the original installation that was done 20 years ago. I could have spent additional money but they advised me not to.

They arrived on time, did a professional job and finished on time.

They performed the work at my old home. They installed a railing in my basement. They went above and beyond to match a difficult color so it all flowed well.

Our meeting went well. He brought brochures showing different materials we could use for countertops etc, and he seemed to understand what I was wanting to add into the kitchen and we discussed different ideas and then he measured the room and eventually sent the plan after he drew it up. He spent a lot of time looking at the space and discussing different remodeling ideas and talked about some of his other projects and I appreciated that. We are not planning to do this project immediately, since we are still trying to decide where it falls in importance with all the other projects we want to do at our house, but we are glad to have the plan and a potential designer/builder for other projects as well.

They were on time and did a great job. They cleaned up after themselves and were very professional.

The experience was ok. They should have told me I needed to prepare the materials for them, as that was not noted when scheduling the appointment. There was a lack of communication, as I could have had materials ready when they got here.

The service was good. They had a heck of a time with the shower but they were persistent and did the job until it was completed.
