+ -1 moreExcellent. He first called and gave an estimate over the phone. Then he visited us to look at the project. He came back with the exact specifications that we should give to Menards. When the door came in, we called him and schedule the install date.
Description of Work: Jason recommended a patio door to replace our rotted out door in the basement. He wrote up the order. We placed the order at Menards and picked up the door three weeks later. Jason came back to install it on a Saturday.

replacement windows
+ -1 moreJason said he felt confident he could do it. He made an appointment to come and see it. He was punctual, professional and had good ideas for the repair. We arranged a time for him to come and do the work and he quoted me a price. He arrived to do the work when he said, came with the materials he needed and explained what he was doing as he went along. The workmanship was great, it was exactly what we wanted, he was professional and he cleaned everything up before leaving. His price was even $10.00 less than he quoted. Great job!
Description of Work: The wooden trim around our half circle window on the front of our house was rotting and had been destroyed by woodpeckers. The window itself was aluminum clad and did not need to be replaced, only the 8" wood trim around the window. If was difficult to find someone willing to do such a small job and someone that had the creative ability to know how to do it.

replacement windows, doors
+ 0 moreJason Jensen is a reliable and honest guy. He and Mitch, the guy the works with him, both have a great deal of experience with window replacement... and it shows. The work was done properly and on schedule. They were very responsive to questions and concerns. Courteous and knowledgeable. We're planning on calling them again for future projects.
Description of Work: Our 15-year-old home needed new windows in the back. The 16 windows (a combination of casement, sliders, and picture windows) were replaced with top-of-the-line double hung windows (wood interior & aluminum clad exterior). The wood trim around the exterior of the windows (and two back doors) were in poor condition, so they replaced the wood with aluminum. At the same time, we had french doors installed in the doorway between our living room and dining room. Total cost of the work is for windows, french doors, other materials, and labor.
