Jeff has literally painted my entire interior, the exterior and periodically stains my deck. Every job has been done with the highest quality and care. I've used Jeff for years now and will continue to. I can't recommend Jeff highly enough. 5++ stars!

Great. Jeff was awesome. We had our deck painted about three years ago by someone else and they did an aweful job. Jeff had to come out and power wash to remove all the old paint, which was hard work, and then restain the deck the right way. Jeff did a great job, easy to work with, communicated well. Definitely hire him again

We hired JJ Hanson Painting to remove wallpaper from a 2 story wall, as well as patch and paint an entryway, hallway, bathroom and family room. Jeff helped with paint selections, was extremely easy to work with and helpful. Randy and Astara did most of the painting and they were fun, professional and efficient. I have already given their name to friends and will definitely call them for future projects.

I have a relatively newer cedar deck (5 years or less), however, you wouldn't know it by looking at it. Staining jobs gone wrong made a mess of my deck - tons of peeling paint and just overall looking terrible. The last time, I had hired a professional company, but the outcome was even worse. I am thankful I found Jeff on Angies list. Him and his team power washed my deck multiple times to ensure the deck would look great in the end. I was impressed with his attention to detail. In the end, I was totally flabbergasted by the difference he made. Not only was the job done beyond my expectations, I would say his pricing is very reasonable. He strives to do well at his job, and it shows. I will certainly hire him again for future painting jobs.

We were very impressed with the customer service we received from J J Hanson Painting. Our questions were answered quickly, and he had a wealth of knowledge he readily shared. He was competitively priced as well. We were in the process of hiring him to do the work when, unfortunately, we found out we had more rot than expected, so instead of refinishing the deck we are replacing it with maintenance free. We will definitely be contacting in the future for some interior work we need done.

Very thorough work. Also treated wood with mold and anti fungal inhibitor before refinishing. Power washed our retaining wall around the deck. Also refinished small wood deck tables and restained front wood pillars. We are very happy with the results.

Jeff responded to my original inquiry within hours and make arrangements to meet at my townhouse so he could give me an estimate. Based on the Angies' List customer reviews and Jeff's professionalism, I hired him to paint my townhouse interior. He went above and beyond in prepping the walls to make sure any blemishes, nail holes, etc were properly filled in and removed all of the existing wallpaper. Because of his strong work ethic, attention to detail, and painting experience and skill, the job was finished on our agreed upon time schedule and within our agreed upon budget. I was not yet living in the townhouse, but Jeff was very good at keeping me updated on the progress. I would definitely hire Jeff again and enjoyed working with him.

Jeff did an excellent job, kept us informed on status and recommend a number of small items to take care of as well. We would hire Jeff again and will likely use him to power wash the outside of the house.

I hired Jeff to refinish our cedar fence, which was in really rough shape. We hired him again because he did such a great job on our deck refinishing last year. He did an amazing job. Our 14-year old fence looks new again.

Jeff did a great job. My deck looks new again! My deck was in rough shape, and when he discovered there would be some extra work he was totally up front about the extra cost, which is very appreciated. The crew did an excellent job. Very timely - fitting into exactly when we needed them. Several people have commented on how great the paint job was done. They were very neat and efficient.

Jeff was very reasonably priced and ultimately the workmanship was acceptable. He did need to come back to refinish a few areas that were missed. He was very responsive to my request to do this. Overall, it was a good experience and I would hire Jeff again.

I've used Jeff before and he's the only painter I ever consider. Scheduling was hampered by the weather this year, but the work got done against a deadline I was trying to meet, Jeff made sure of that. Quality of the work, both painting and staining, was superb. Jeff is meticulous and see's the small things I'd never think of. Aside from the quality of his work Jeff's honesty and integrity are what really set him apart from other painting contractors. I had to be away on business during the work and flipped him the keys to my home while he was working - with no worry at all that I'd have regrets doing so. In a word, Jeff is extraordinary!

He was very responsive, and even with our rainy weather was able to get started faster than promised. We actually coordinated the job through voicemail as I was traveling a ton. We would recommend J&J Hanson Painting!

Jeff came in April and power washed the deck. Then Mother Nature decided to snow, sleet, and rain for weeks. I came home on May 6th to the job being completed. I was surprised he was able to get it down before the next weather event. I'm very pleased with his work.

We had built and finished our deck ourselves a few years prior and used a water based finish. This original application was peeling off of our deck and made it look pretty bad. Our daughter's birthday was a month away so we wanted to see if we could get it refinished before having people over to celebrate. Jeff was super flexible and great about the time crunch. Because he had other work he was willing to come out on the weekend to fit us in and get the work done before our party. He had originally estimated the work to be a little lower as the initial assessment of the peeling made it seem like it would be easier to strip the existing finish off. That turned out to be additional work but he was very reasonable and we worked out a price for the finish. After almost 2 days of power washing and stripping the existing finish off, he sanded and applied a finish he recommended. He used an oil based product in the finish and his treatment brought out the beautiful golden color that we wanted the cedar for in the first place. He then provided some guidance/recommendations to us to keep the deck looking great. Winter has come and (mostly) gone, and the finish still looks great. We're very happy with the work he did, the careful attention to detail he had in stripping and sanding the deck, and his feedback on how go keep things looking great moving forward. He's honest and conscientious (2 underrated character traits) and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending him to others or using his services again for our front porch railing this year.

Once it finally stopped raining Jeff called the night before and came by the next morning to paint the two exterior metal garage doors. He sanded and prepared the doors for painting. He applied one coat and camed back later that afternoon to apply the 2nd coat. He did a very professional job. He was very neat and cleaned up everything when the job was done. He was very easy to work with and I woud definitely hire him again for another job. I noticed he is also a "handyman" and will keep him in mind for other jobs.

went well. project delyed due to cold wet spring and wet june. We were out of town and he tried to contact me that he would be coming over. I was unavailable but he came and took all the furniture off of the deck and job completed when i arrived home. no muss no fuss.
