+ -1 moreEric (who owns the company) seemed genuinely concerned with doing the best installation he could, and offered several design options that we agreed with and which made the entry look even better. Though the suggestions demanded that Eric do additional work, there was no up charge. The installation process took a full week and both Eric and Jim (his employee) demonstrated that they both took pride in their work, which showed in the end result. Though we did not hire Eric directly (he was hired by a flooring store), we intend to hire him to do some additional tile work as out remodeling project progresses.
Description of Work: Eric and Jim are sub-contractors for a flooring store, which we hired to do the work. They installed an approximately 100 sq ft tiled entry and approximately 20 linear feet of tiled back splash with an intricate design behind the sink. The entry had to first be "mudded" in (cement base), and then the tile installed. The design was fairly complicated and required all the large 17" x 17" tiles to be cut on all four corners, and smaller tiles inserted as accents. The entry also is not square, but has several angles and a closet area. The back splash had horizontal and angled tiles and a large square behind the sink that was outlined with "rope" tile and had smaller tiles in the field as well as accent tiles.
