Description of Work: They stopped by Oct 14 to give an estimate to blow-in insulation into my garage attic. He said they were booked into December already. I decided to go ahead with the work and called a few days later to schedule. Since this was a smaller job, they said they could probably fit it in some afternoon before December. On November 16th they called and said they would be able to do the job that week, which was great. I wanted a roof vent added as well so they gained access to the garage attic through the new roof vent hole. This was great since they didn't have to cut a hole in my newly sheet-rocked garage. They were professional and quickly finished the job. I would recommend them.

Description of Work: Hoyle insulated my attic and slant and sealed the rim joist in my 1910 house. Great job, done quickly and professionally. Passed the inspection for my rebate. Couldn't be more pleased!

Description of Work: Houle insulated the attic of our very old home. They climbed through the very small door to our attic and did the job how they said they would and when they said they would. And they prepped the house to prevent insulation from getting everywhere,e and cleaned up when they were through. All for a fair price.

Description of Work: Insulated walls of 1100 sq ft home. They were able to schedule me earlier than expected. Supervisor introduced his staff beforehand. Workers worked hard. Some damage to wooden siding in both porches. Delay in getting the rebate paperwork to me.

Description of Work: After an Xcel energy audit we had insulation work done as recommended (peak attic, slant walls, small side attics, attic floors, sealed attic by-passes, 3rd floor vertical walls, patched the access holes and insulated two bay roofs, made a new attic access). Houle's owner came over promptly for a proposal, gave a competitive bid and showed up on time for the work. The crew was efficient and professional. The spaces were 95% cleaned up when they left upon completion of the job (it was a long day for them).

Description of Work: Houle is the best! I hired them to do attic insulation. Noticed some drafts after work was done so owner came out. He did an infra-red test that showed windows that need to be caulked. This test was done after I had paid them for the work. And it was free. His test showed a small tiny spot in attic that could be additionally sealed. He graciously offered to do it for free. He scheduled his crew to come out and they kindly did the work. Great clean up. Nice guys. Oh, during our initial consult options for insulating a three-season turned 4-season were clearly explained. I appreciated that!

Thought I was looking at a several thousand dollar issue, but after spending an hour with us, Todd identified a $15 do it yourself solution to our cold air problem. Todd was on time, friendly, thorough, saved us a bunch of money and wouldn't take a dime for his troubles. Definitely an honest upfront contractor who cares about giving you what you need, not what he wants to sell.
