It was great. Arne was really friendly, right on time and answered all of my questions. He provided a bid on the spot($2500)and talked me through how the project would be completed if we went forward. He was also able to give me some idea of when the project could be scheduled(a couple months out)and how long it would take from start to finish (a couple days). We decided to do a major remodel instead of only insulating the walls otherwise we probably would have gone with Houle insulation.

Arnie had done attic insulation for me a year ago. He squeezed me in this time because I needed it done sooner. They had it scheduled for a Wednesday, but they came on a Saturday.

I thought they did a good job. Their crew had good communication and they were all very polite. All of them were very confident and helpful also. It was an enjoyable experience.

Arne and his crew are coming next week to insulate our attic and a few soffit areas. I was able to schedule an estimate right away, and Arne was right on time. He described the areas of our home that needed more insulation and the positive effects this would have on our winter comfort and heating bills. I had an energy audit performed last spring and discovered that our home is basically uninsulated. The energy audit folks recommend several companies to install insulation and I called three. Of them, Houle spent the most time explaining the process, the rationale for what they would do to make our home warmer and more energy efficient and his bid was in the same ball park as all the others. With colder weather ahead, I am excited to get this done!

I've bought an old, somewhat ramshackle house, and I'm in the process of trying to slash my heating bills. Arne Olson came out and gave me a bid about insulating, as well as giving good, thoughtful advice about what I should and shouldn't do to tighten up my house. I haven't begun this project yet. Probably nothing will get done until the Spring, but I expect to involve Houle in one or more steps of the process.

From beginning to end, very smoothly. Professional, able to give me a competitive estimate, work was scheduled a bit out in advance, but I was fine with that.

They were professional and went above and beyond.

Arne was prompt, professional and very nice. He checked everything out and didn't find anything he was concerned about. Told me what to watch for this winter. He fixed some insulation that the critter rearranged by the access door. He didn't charge me for the visit. I would highly recommend Arne and Houle Insulation.

Very well! My husband was concerned about seeing the holes in the stucco after they filled them. I couldn't even find most of the holes, they blend in so well. I expect to save some money on my gas bill and hope to not have ice dams this year; but I already enjoy the quiet.

Houle Insulation showed up when they said they would (quick turnaround), finished the job in less than one day, left the job site clean and protected.

They were great. They were very reasonable in the price. They came in got the job done in no time. They left no mess and were pleasant to do business with.

The estimate process went well. We were really impressed with their knowledge of the job. They explained everything to us really well. They were very friendly and polite.

It turned out that the insurance adjuster believed the roof did not need to be replaced. Mr. Olson gave me an estimate for doing the work without have access to the ceiling space via the roof. I thought the estimate was very reasonable. I may have the work done later. I was impressed with Mr. Olson's punctuality, knowledge and competence. I appreciate his time and skills.

Went very well. 4 young men, very professional & friendly, came in, setup, make sure I knew what was going to happen, did the job, made friends with my dog, and best of all, cleaned up after themselves. They were innovative when it came to problem solving, and just did a great job all around. I'd recommend them highly.

Houle was great to work with, from the very beginning of the process. They responded in just a few hours to a request for estimate that I made via their website. Arne arrived promptly to do the estimate and was very thorough, noting potential problems that other companies had missed. The estimate was very detailed and we had a good sense of what we would be getting. He told me it would be a couple of months before the job could be scheduled and they were right on time when that rolled around. The crew seemed very professional, polite and did a good job cleaning up when they were done. The true test will come next winter, but I'm confident our house will be less drafty and far more energy efficient.

Overall everything went well. Arne responded promptly to request for estimate. On day of service, showed up on time, finished in about 4 hours. Clean up was very good.

They provided me a detailed estimate and walked me through options, answered questions, etc. I think I would have been happy with their work, given my experience with the estimation process. However, in the end, I chose a different company (with a similarly-good reputation) who bid the same work for about $1000 less.

Everything went smoothly from estimate to finish. Arnie was extremely pleasant to deal with & he did a great job explaining what was needed & what the plan was that he recommended to increase our insulation & make our house warmer in the winter & cooler in the summer. The workers came right on time as scheduled & worked well. They cleaned everything up nicely & were concerned that they didn't disturb us with their noise as they worked. They showed us the finished job & were very professional.

The work done was complete and well done. I noticed an immediate change in the warmth in the house. Stucco was patched with a pretty close color, could have been better.

When he provided the estimate, Arne gave us a date for completion 10-weeks out & the company was able to complete the project in that time frame. The crew arrived promptly at 7 am & the work was completed by 4:30 pm. The crew was courteous & efficient. They charmed our 2-year old daughter & were sensitive to her health needs (put up extra plastic barriers & did an amazing job cleaning the interior of our home). The final bill was a little less than the estimate. It feels like we live in a brand new home - the difference in temperature & comfort is amazing! We highly recommend Houle Insulation.

Arne and his crew were here exactly on time, completed the work as originally planned. (Arne did the extra work of taking care of the fireplace heat loss at no extra charge - I only told him about the problem when he got to my house to do the other work.) Arne was here the whole time supervising the work and his crew cleaned up before they left. When Arne came to estimate the job he did a very careful inspection of my attic and found the areas that had not been taken care of by another company a few years ago. He even took care of a bypass while he was at my house at no charge! Arne and his company are A-1 in my book.

Todd came out to do an estimate. After going into the attic he determined that I have sufficient insulation and venting, hence no estimate needed. Todd was very helpful in answering questions and was very honest and knowledgeable. Houle was very pleasurable to deal with, scheduling appointment, all staff courteous, on time. They will be the first I call for my future insulation needs.
