There were two different guys I dealt with. One installed the entry door and the other one installed the window in the garage. The guy who did the window did an excellent job. Their price was reasonable.

The experience went really well. I would certainly recommend getting an estimate from them. The guy who was out here was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Any of the questions we had he was able to answer, he really seemed to know his stuff.

It turned out very well. They were punctual. They did what they said they were going to do. They completed the work. It was done to my satisfaction.

They came out and spent a lot of time here. He pressured us to make a decision that day. He said that the price would go up the next day. We got an email after two days saying that we had to get it cleared fast so that we could have the same price that was quoted. I didn’t like that. I spent months afterwards feeling so relieved that I didn’t go with them.

One of their people had come out to take the measurements. The carpet that they had was the cheapest that we could find among all those that we had checked out. Their installation price was also fairly cheap compared to all the others locally. They showed up on time and finished the work in a day. It was super, exceptional service. We had to go through some hoops to get our transition pieces. Other than that they did a decent job overall. I think their product was a dollar less than that of some of the other local companies.

My house was built in 1923. I have a large front staircase that was all brick and had always leaked into the pantry below, despite my numerous efforts over the years with various sealers and brick repairs. This area of my house had always caused me much frustration. At the state fair I signed up for Home Depot to come out and give me an estimate and suggestions. I had no idea what I wanted to do with the staircase. Home Depot sent out Darrin Ellefson from Greystone Masonry. He was obviously very capable and experienced. My staircase was subsequently replaced and most of the pantry filled in. I am very happy. They did a beautiful, high quality job from bottom to top. The only issue was color. It was hard to pick out colors because you have to base your choice on color charts and small cement chips. You don't really know how it will look on your house. But all turned out well. My steps are gorgeous and I get many compliments.

The purchase went well. We took some of the samples home to match colors. The ordering and measuring went well. However, one of the rooms was a three season porch and it was not noted on the installation instructions that the temperature had to be 70 or greater to have the glue set. The day of installation was before that. So they left the carpet in our room all bundled up, making the room unusable. Late in the season, we were not sure they would be able to install it. The second room, a family room, was installed but some of the trim was sloppy.

The sales consultant didn't seem to be very confident or knowledgeable. We had to pull out the catalogs from his desk and look through them to find the style of door we needed for our 1924 house. He wasn't sure of all the options, including if custom color matching could be done or not (which is stated right in the catalog). We were supposed to get a custom color sample to sign off on within a week of order and that was 2 weeks ago.

It went pretty well, given some dimension challenges that made it hard to fit the carpet.

I thought that they had a large selection of flooring. They did take a little time get the carpet installed. They moved a few of the larger pieces of furniture. The installation went well.

Price is A, service is A. They are wonderful. They do a wonderful job.

I was very impressed with the salesperson, she was very knowledgeable and helpful. The stove is working great!

The guys were great to work with. After all the problems, they did a good job.

Process went well, Home Depot delivered on what they said they would, no surprises, carpet looks good.

We had a very hard time getting a confirmation that our order had been placed. Home Depot sub-contracts the work to another company, but as the customer, you are only allowed contact directly with Home Depot. There is a 4 week lead time for custom counters. We called and stopped in to the store multiple times, trying to find out our installation date, so that we could schedule the plumber to come the following day to install the sink, and out of town guests that weekend. The workers arrived on time, and were kind and courteous, however, when our plumber arrived the next day, he noticed they had not cut the sink cutout correctly. The plumber needed to spend over an hour of his billable time making the corrections. He noted he had seen the same problem on other Home Depot installations. We love the counters and have had many great compliments.

It was not great. They were too busy to help us out in the store but were knowledgeable and friendly when they finally got around to talking to us. They promised delivery before the holidays, but we didn't actually get the carpet installed until two weeks after Christmas. It was difficult to communicate with anyone about the order because they were too busy to answer the phone. The installation was fine, and they picked up the mess, leaving us the larger remnants as we had asked.

Home Depot will not install carpet over any 9x9 tile. Please note this before you use them. They really did not inform us of this and wasted a week waiting for them to get back to us.

This was a good experience. The salesperson was helpful and had knowledge of the products offered. The installers brought the product with them so that I did not have to lug it home. The installation was done within a reasonable time and conveniently.

When I called back with followup questions about scheduling and for explanations of the plumbing charges the sales associate was unknowledgeable about the process and discourteous. E.g. When I asked whether the connections for the dishwasher were included in the costs, I was told it would be a substantial extra charge and that I should have told them I had a dishwasher (I think it should be SOP for HD to ask the customer). When the plumbing was done, I was charged an additional $400 for going from a double sink to a single, another surprise that HD did not ask about. She had no idea how scheduling was handled and after 2 weeks I didn't know if plumbers were scheduled so I went back to HD and asked another associate who told me customers do their own scheduling. If I were to do this again, I would deal directly with a contractor who would know what needs to be done and coordinate the process. I do not see how HD adds any value to the process and in my case, made it more difficult.

THE PRICE WAS WAY LOWER THAN WHAT I'D FOUND IN MY SEARCH OF OTHER STORES AND THE WHOLE PROCESS WAS QUICK AND PAINLESS. I ORDERED IN THE STORE, SOMEONE CAME OUT WITHIN A FEW DAYS TO MEASURE AND GET INSTRUCTIONS, AND A FEW DAYS LATER AN INSTALLER CAME. HE HAD A HARD TIME WRAPPING JUST THE TREADS ON THE STAIRS, AS I REQUESTED, BUT DID A TERRIFIC JOB DESPITE THAT. THE CARPET LOOKS GREAT, ESPECIALLY CONSIDERING IT'S LOW-END AND THE INSTALLATION WAS REASONABLE, NEAT AND QUICK. I HAD SOME RESERVATIONS ABOUT GOING THROUGH HOME DEPOT, BUT THEY WERE ALL DISPELLED, AND I WILL USE THEM AGAIN WHEN I REDO MY KITCHEN FLOOR.

FROM THE BEGINNING THIS WAS AN UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE, WAS TOLD THE JOB WOULD TAKE ONE FULL DAY PLUS A FEW ADDITIONAL HOURS, 3 DAYS LATER TO SEAL. THE INSTALLER SHOWED UP AT 11:00 AM, SAID HE DIDN'T KNOW THE TILE WAS TO BE LAID DIAGONALLY AND DIDN'T HAVE THE RIGHT TOOLS, THE MATERIALS HAD NOT BEEN DELIVERED SO COULD ONLY LAY THE SUBFLOOR. FOR THE NEXT WEEK AND A HALF I NEVER KNEW WHEN HE WAS GOING TO SHOW UP - COULD NOT REACH HIM BECAUSE HIS CELL PHONE DIDN'T WORK. WHEN HE DID SHOW UP, WORKED FOR A COUPLE OF HOURS AND THEN MADE SOME EXCUSE WHY HE HAD TO LEAVE. FINALLY, AFTER MUCH AGGRAVATION HE FINISHED. WHEN WE LOOKED AT THE FLOOR THE NEXT DAY IT WAS THE WORST LOOKING THING I HAD EVER SEEN. THE GROUT WAS ALL OVER THE TOP OF THE TILE AND THE WHOLE ROOM WAS A MESS. I TOOK PICTURES TO HOME DEPOT. AFTER ANOTHER WEEK THEY INSPECTED, AGREED IT WAS THE WORST GROUT JOB EVER. THEY SENT 2 OTHER MEN OVER WHO REGROUTED THE WHOLE FLOOR. I SEALED IT MYSELF.

THE INSTALLER ARRIVED WITH THE WRONG DOOR. THEY TRIED TO CONVINCE US TO TAKE IT ANYWAY. WE HAD TO CALL THE STORE, ETC... WEEKS LATER THE INSTALLER ARRIVES WITH THE CORRECT DOOR, BUT NEEDED EXTRA PARTS AND EXTRA MONEY TO INSTALL IT CORRECTLY. AFTER THIS, THE THIRD APPOINTMENT WAS SCHEDULED. THE DOOR WAS FINALLY INSTALLED, BUT WAS SCRATCHED. THEY SAY WE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR GETTING THE PAINT AND FIXING IT. AND THE DOOR CLOSER DOESN'T WORK WELL.

WERE PUNCTUAL AND DID A GOOD JOB OF INSTALLATION. I HAD TO TRIM SOME OF THE CARPET ALONG ONE WALL HOWEVER, AS THEY DID NOT ACCOUNT FOR THE GUARD THAT IS PLACED THERE TO COVER UP A WATER PIPE. OTHER THAN THAT, THEY DID A VERY GOOD JOB.

I WAS SKEPTICAL, BUT TRIED HOME DEPOT ON A NEIGHBOR'S RECOMMENDATION. THE PRICE WAS LOWER THAN THE OTHER PLACES I CHECKED, THE QUALITY OF MATERIAL AND WORKMANSHIP WAS EXTREMELY GOOD. THEY PROMISED INSTALLATION WITHIN 6 WEEKS AND DELIVERED IN 3. THEY MADE ONE ERROR IN GRID PATTERNS AND REPLACED THE WINDOW WITHIN TWO WEEKS. THEY MADE EXCELLENT SUGGESTIONS IN REPLACING SOME WINDOWS TO MEET CODE REQUIREMENTS. THEIR INSTALL CREWS WERE EXTREMELY FRIENDLY, PUNCTUAL AND DID A GREAT JOB RESPECTING MY HOME BOTH DURING THE INSTALLATION AND CLEANING UP.
