Description of Work: Very communicative -told things to be done and which were immediate and which could be done at some later time. They followed up and were very professional through out I would definitely use them again if I needed furnace repair. I have had very poor furnace repairmen in the past so I know how bad they can be. Uptown Plumbing and Heating was excellent.

Description of Work: We had purchased the Angie's list deal for the furnace and water heater tune-up. After the tune-up we used Uptown Plumbing to purchase a new high efficiency furnace. There's been a lot of ups and downs that we've experienced with them involving multiple service calls to correct issues from the installation. We were expecting a higher level of service based on their Angie's List rating.

Description of Work: We paid for a furnace and hot water heater inspection and tune up form Uptown Plumbing and Heating. Our furnace is 8 years old. We were told we needed 3K in repairs or might even need to replace the entire furnace with a wall mounted unit for 15K. We called another company for a second opinion and they said we need a $400 dollar tank AND no tune-up had been completed by Uptown Plumbing. The company that gave us a second opinion said that Uptown Plumbing and Heating uses deals (Angie's List and Groupon) to scare customers into thinking they need extensive repairs. | |I've requested a refund from Uptown Heating. They said they would honor the refund but it has yet to hit my bank account two weeks later. | |It felt like we were nearly scammed out of thousands of dollars and would not recommend this company to anyone.

Description of Work: Checkup led to replacement of major component of over $1800. Part was covered by warranty and this was all labor. Company was great, but the price of the labor was very high in my opinion.

Description of Work: First they did a furnace tune up and water heater check. Then when the furnace failed to start they came out very quickly and replaced a small but costly piece. The furnace has been running correctly ever since. The techs were friendly and knowledgeable and explained what they were doing when asked.

Description of Work: Uptown Plumbing did an annual check of my furnace and hot water heater. Though both are older, the tech did not try to scare me or use fear tactics to get me to buy something new. The tech was great and even told me they were both in good shape for their age and I should have a few more years of use. I've been looking for a trustworthy company and feel very comfortable calling Uptown Plumbing again.

Description of Work: The furnace and hot water heater were inspected and serviced. I was extremely pleased with the service from Uptown Plumbing Heating and Cooling and will recomend them and will use them again in the future.

Description of Work: The company was a bait and switch company. Technician said we needed a 6540 vent cleaning service and would do it today. Also, said we needed a hot water heater today and they could do it for about 1200 now. They wanted to get into your home and then sell maintenance agreements and other services. I would not use them again.

Description of Work: Furnace and water heater inspection special turned out to be a great deal. Technician called to report he was running early, ahead of appointment time. He spent about an hour analyzing furnace performance via laptop. I have had my 10-year old furnace cleaned and inspected every year. Technician was courteous and clean and furnace seems to be running fine, if not better than before. Will absolutely consider using this vendor for future services!
