Went well....I explained my problems and he provided a quick and easy fix and then gave me some good information about how to prevent the problem in the future.

He was prompt and called when the scheduled had to be adjusted. When he arrive he got right to the trouble and considered a couple of options. He fixed the problem, checked it out to be sure it works and clearly explained to me what had happened. He then systematically checked out the general plumbing in the house and stated it was in good shape.

Plumber came and fixed it and also recommended what product to use to keep our drains clean in the shower, sink, and kitchen, and how often. Very nice.

It went fine. I had other plumbing repairs to do and wanted to do it all in one trip. They didn't send out a licensed plumber, so I was disappointed. I didn't tell them in advance of the additional needs, so I guess it's my fault.

It went well. I was given an appointment window from 11-3 and I was supposed to get a call from their dispatcher telling me when the plumber was on the way. I didn't receive the call and the plumber showed up at about 2 pm. It was within the window, but I would have appreciated a phone call. The plumber was very professional and courteous. He had all the necessary tools and materials on his truck already so he could get it done in one trip. I only requested that he replace the broken shutoff valve but he went above and beyond by adding the indoor drain for proper winterizing. I liked everything but the price. Before he did the work, he told me it would be about $320. I assumed it would take a couple hours which would explain the high price. When he was done in a half an hour I was happy that it was done quickly but unhappy that the price was the same. I thought they charged hourly rates, but I guess it's my fault for assuming. The final bill wasn't itemized so I'm not sure how he came to that price. I just wanted to get the project done and I had already purchased an Angie's List Big Deal which was $120 for $200 worth of services. So with the coupon I only paid $240 which still seems high. The materials couldn't be more than $30-50, so they must have a crazy high hourly rate. On a side note, it seems as though their appointment receptionists are working in an off-site call center. I assume that they are not working directly for the company but probably part of an answering service. I would have preferred to deal with someone from the Uptown Plumbing office directly when making an appointment or if I had questions. Anyway, he did a great job and I'm glad it's done right, but the price was a little over the top.

I purchased a deal for Uptown Heating. I called before I bought it to ensure that my location met the 25 mile restriction. I was told it did so I scheduled the appointment and then bought the Groupon. Today I am expecting them at my home but received a call that they will not honor the groupon because I am 33 miles away. The lady on the phone then told me to get a hold of Groupon for a refund. What poor service from this company. They had no record of my call..but they had the appointment there? They were calling to cancel it?

Everything went great. The guys who came out to do the work along with a couple people I spoke to on the phone were all very helpful and professional.

It was ok. It was more of a consultation than a service to be performed. I guess I didn't read the fine print fully. The interaction itself though was good.

Salesman was professional and knowledgeable. Work crew arrived on time, finished in a few hours, cleaned up all debris and gave clear instructions regarding operation of the units. Tech returned promptly when I called about the need to complete an unfinished item.

I knew nothing about radiant heating, having lived with forced air heat my whole life, so a lot of the service was very educational. They easily troubleshooted the cold radiators caused by air in the pipes and showed me how to bleed the air and a list of dos and don'ts. They also walked me around the boiler, how to add water to increase the pressure, how to drain the overflow tank periodically. Additionally, while we waited for the boiler to heat up we checked the house water pressure and discussed potential options for improving pressure/volume within the house, new radiator options, and in-wall air conditioning. All-in-all it was a great experience and worth the money. They successful troubleshooted my immediate issues, and educated me on how I can do certain things myself.

the punctuality, professionalism, and homeowner accommodations were fine. In retrospect, although it was reasonable that they needed to replace some of the innards of the toilet tank, the replacement parts and labor costs were much higher than I would have anticipated..

This was a great experience. They did everything I asked, and did a great job at it. I appreciated how they honored the coupon as well.

It was very positive. The service man put on slip ons for his shoes. He went right to work.

They did good work. However, I wasn't fond of them, and I found their prices to be high.

Great from beginning to end.

I bought the Angie's list Big Deal to have my A/C looked at because it had recently stopped working. The gentlemen who came out was very friendly, respectful of my home, and on time. However, when he looked at my A/C unit he told me the compressor was blown and there was coolent spewing out of it. He said I could either get it filled for $300 to "see what happens", or get a new A/C installed. I had him give me an estimate and I belive it was around $3,000. I decided to get a second opinion and used a referral from a friend for Air and Furnace Care out of Brooklyn Park (763) 424-3222. He came and within 10 minutes found a hole burned in the coolant line from an exposed wire (my unit is pretty old!). He soldered the hole, repaired the wire, refilled with coolant, and cleaned out the a/c unit. It was less than $300 total and I was VERY happy with his work. I guess an older experienced person was the best route to go with my ancient A/C unit.

It went Ok in the beginning but they had to come back Twice because drains were kinked or plugged and water came into the house. The first time they sent a guy out with no ladder just to make sure that the drain was in fact plugged even though they had told us that if water came into the house it was because the drains were plugged. SO I had to make another appointment for another guy with a ladder to come out and fix it.

The service turned out well. They were prompt and professional. I don’t have any complaints.

It went pretty well. I thought they were pricey for the short amount of time they were here (2 to 2.5 hours). They did the repairs (which were needed) and they did a good job.

Paid $49 for a full house plumbing inspection and toilet tune-up. Full house plumbing inspection was well worth the $49. The toilet tune-up was going to be jus a simple 5 point adjustment of flush lever, float, and flapper. The service tech skipped the tune-up in exhange for adjusting hose bib shut off valves at no additional cost. Tech was friendly and willing to give advice on plubming updates and condition of existing piping.

Very well. The plumber was very professional and courteous and he answered all of my questions.

While there the plumber saw that our garbage disposal was leaking. We weren't aware of it, he saved us a lot of potential damage

Great Experience. They took care of our service visit and made sure to fit the visit into our busy schedule.

2 weeks after contracts exchanged, installation ws done in a single day including hook up. Had a small problem with a switch on a pump not being set correctly. Call to service on a Saturday morning, owner came by one hour later and fix it.

A good experience overall. I always like the way these guys show up and figure out the problem and explain it to you. These guys are very good. It was still under warranty so I had no out of pocket costs.
