Heaven Scent Home Cleaning LLC

Just to make sure that you know that I am reviewing the right company, I am reviewing Heaven Scent Home Cleaning (NOT Heaven Scent CLEANING SERVICE). Names are easily mistaken. Heaven Scent Home Cleaning is owned by Crocket. Robin visited, looked at the house, saw it needed a lot of work and made a bid. More than $1100. OK I thought, it is has not been cleaned for a long time. A job that is going to take a lot of work. She talked about baseboards. Yes, I said, those needed to be done. They came with 5 people. They cleaned cobwebs from the built in lights with a broom that they also used for the floor. Doesn't really make sense to use a broom full of dust to clean lights. I asked the guy why he did it like that. Didn't get a really good reply. Lots of dog hair, I agree, I have 2 of those and a cat, and told them the vacuum cleaner might be more helpful. Robin thought so too when she came for her first visit. Dust was everywhere, the type of dust that has not seen a cleaning cloth for years. (Months actually). After they said they completed their job I still found dust everywhere in the house. On the bed, on the furniture. Kitchen cabinet fronts not clear. What they left on I could easily get off with a wet cloth and a bit of murphy soap. Dust reaccumulates when you sweep the floor if it is very dusty said Robin. Yes I said, but not the dust that feels greasy as if it has been there for years. And that was also on furniture that she had cleaned herself. And if the floor brings up that much dust then maybe you need to do the floor first. The granite in the kitchen still had debris on it, still sticky after she had done it. The glass shower door still has soap scum on it. Baseboards were not included. That's true, they weren't on the contract. I guess I just assumed that she would do them cause she had mentioned them but I shouldn't have. There is a wall unit we agreed at her first visit she would not include because it would be a lot of time but if I wanted one of her people to come out for that for 25 dollars an hour I could do that. She didn't put them in the contract that I agreed to. If her people would charge 25 dollars per hour to come and do a wall unit then $1100.00 would basically mean 44 hours of cleaning. A staff of 5 for an entire day. Seemed reasonable, seemed even necessary. She's been doing this for 20 years. She mentioned that at least half a dozen times. She must have a lot of very satisfied customers. I am not among them. They came around 8:30, yes punctual. They were done before noon. 3300 sq feet. 3.5 hours x 5 people is 17.5 hours at 1100 dollars. That is more than 60 dollars per hour per person for lousy cleaning. Not worth the money. Another property, half the size of mine, was cleaned by a service, also after a couple of years of little or no care, for a fraction of that cost. I did agree for her to come back, thought she would probably do a better job, wanted to give her a chance. She agreed but a week later sent an email that they couldn't come out to us any more. Couldn't find a time that worked. It looked as if she didn't really want to come back and that is fine. Must be clear that I do not recommend these people. (Please note that this is Heaven Scent HOME Cleaning and not Heaven Scent CLEANING SERVICE. I have not used them, at least not yet so this is not at all about them.)

Cleaning was very good and through. I was very satisfied with results and speed of cleaning.

Robin and her team did an excellent job on the day we moved out of our apartment - professional, personable, and very efficient. Highly recommend!

The quality of the cleaning was satisfactory but the attitude was unsatisfactory

Scheduling was not smooth but the owner was professional and accepted responsibility. I appreciated that. Overall, the women that came into my house were professional and quick. I did find some furniture that was not dusted but, maybe they ran out of time... Overall, I'm happy with the help they provided me. *Note* I can't recall the exact date or amount so, I estimated.

It was okay. It wasn't great but it was okay. I delayed it for a few months. They came out early August. No additional charges. The bathroom wasn't cleaned thoroughly and that is why I would give them a B instead of an A.

Thought they did a great job!

Didn't go. She refused my service, so I asked for my money back. It took two months, Angie's list is absolutelly ATROCIOUS at customer service and so is this company.

Things worked out just fine. They did a good job. I would go to them again. There was no additional cost to the $99 Big Deal. I made arrangements for them to come out sometime in April. I knew I have a cleaning coming up, but I did not have one right away. I was fine with them. I would use them again in the future especially if I get the same Big Deal.

Understanding that I purchased a deal for a general, and not deep, cleaning the services were overall okay. I did not expect them to get every nook and cranny of the house but I did notice that one of the toilets was not even touched. The cleaners did a decent job for the low cost.

I wanted them to come right away and I had to wait. But they were great.

Very thorough, and the staff was pleasant. Their work was more detailed than most cleaning services offer. Three people working for two hours finished everything, so it also saved me time.

I contacted HSHC through Angie's List, and Robin was quick and efficient about getting back to me, setting up a walkthrough according to my schedule, and setting a price and schedule. She even had a contract written up for me to read and sign, delineating what was included in each service, responsibilities of each party, and the price. Robin runs a tight ship - she was the lead on most of the cleans except when she wasn't able to make it. She also brought the same team members each time (to the best of her ability) to ensure consistency between cleans. Their scheduled arrival time was 8:30 a.m. but in reality it ended up being sometime between 8:30 and 9, though they normally finished up by 10 or 10:30. I worked from home while they were over to answer questions and make sure my two cats were not in the way. Some months some details were missed, but were easily rectified with an email to Robin, who would make sure the team addressed the issues the next time. Having HSHC gave me peace of mind and sanity. It was also a good reason to pick up the junk that accumulated throughout the house each month, because their cleaning is more efficient when surfaces aren't littered with junk (though they will clean around it and pile/organize things if asked).

there were 4 people that came to clean my home. although they were fast i didn't think it was the super best job. there was still dust and areas that i felt i needed to touch up when they were done.

The provider was hard to get a response from initially when I first purchased the service. When I finally did get a response to schedule the home cleaning service, the only available dates were weeks into the future which was a disappointment. Generally speaking, if you feel you need a house cleaning, the need is more immediate than weeks out. But, at least we did schedule something which then got rescheduled by the provider. Finally, the homeowner and the provider settled on a hard date and time that the cleaning service would show up. They didn't show and didn't call to say they were delayed or give any indication as to what was going on. I had taken time off from work as had the homeowner of the home to be cleaned so that we could all be there at the same time. This has to be one of the worst service providers I have ever dealt with and would NEVER use them again.

Great. I was able to schedule the cleaning online quickly and easily. Robin, the owner, was quick to respond to emails. They arrived on time for the housecleaning appointment and completed cleaning the house within the 2 hours. Robin and her team were friendly and hard working. My house got a good general cleaning.

They sent four people for 1.5 hours. I liked this arrangement because I was not tied up all day. The ladies they sent were energetic, thorough, friendly, and fast - they made good use of their time. They cleaned all of my floors, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, and dusted throughout the house. I was very pleased with them and would hire them again.

It was a great experience. The team was extremely nice and they did a great job. Arrived on time, we walked thru the house & discussed what to do. Started cleaning right away & did a great job. I don't have a regular cleaning person right now, but I would definitely use these guys again. I was very happy.

I purchased a coupon for 4 hours of house cleaning and scheduled the service to be performed today, April 20th @ 11:30am. I called the service provider at 11:50am after no one had called, sent an email, message or contacted me about being late. I spoke with someone who said that they looked at their schedule and thought they had changed the appointment time, but wasn't sure. This was not the case, as I said that we had an appointment scheduled for today, and a confirmation that said exactly that. The provider failed to contact me to reschedule and did not perform the services I purchased. Not only that, I rescheduled my entire day to make sure I was home, took time off of work and the person callously did not contact me. I will never use this provider again and I would caution everyone to do the same.

Very well. The team was very professional and did everything that I wanted them to do. They were very quiet as they worked which was nice. I would highly recommend them to anyone. I do plan on using their service in the future.

It went great-- very thorough!

They responded pretty quickly asking for alternate dates after advising me the original requested dates wouldnt work. I didnt hear back from them for 3-4 days after giving them my new dates. And when they did get back with me, the availability was for 3 weeks out. I am not satisfied with the response in availability and I will not be using the deal.

They did a great job. They were very responsive and scheduling was easy, which has not been the case with other Big Deal companies I have hired. Four cleaning professionals showed up on time and tackled my small house to make it shine. All four staffers were professional, inquisitive and great. I would absolutely hire them again the next time I need help cleaning.

Overall the service was great! The women were very friendly. The only compliant I had was that one of the toilets was overlooked. But they asked questions as they cleaned to be sure we covered all of the items.
