John knew right away what the problem was and replaced 2 switches quickly and efficiently. I mentioned that my hard-wired fire/smoke alarms were old (since 1990). Because he came with all of the necessary equipment he was able to also quickly replace both alarms with state-of-the-art new combination fire/carbon monoxide alarms. John was so pleasant and efficient and cleaned up so well - I will keep this contact in my go-to file for sure!

Replaced the one that seemed to be causing the problem. No charge

Long story short, Harrison Electric rescheduled our appointment once, didn't complete the requested service, cashed our check, and then forgot about us. Won't hire again and would not recommend! Our original appointment was rescheduled because there Harrison Electric had a lot of emergency appointment requests after a bad storm. That was fine with us, they rescheduled for a couple days later and that was no problem. The technician showed up on time and seemed knowledgeable enough and answered questions, but when it came to quoting the price to repair the light (which is what we had requested) he was unable to provide a quote because he said there was a part that they didn't have and he didn't know how much it would cost or what it would cost to install that part. He said he would call us back within a couple days to give us the quote. We paid him the $69 service call fee. A week went by, then another week, and still no word from anyone at Harrison Electric. They did cash our check promptly though. Finally I called the Harrison Electric office and asked for an update. The woman I spoke to didn't see any notes in our file related to a follow up, which she attributed to recent staffing changes in their office. She promised we'd hear from someone in the next 1-2 days. That was several weeks ago and we haven't heard anything yet. Won't hire again and would not recommend.

They did a good job, but they charged too much.

John, the representative, looked at it, explained the issue that the old aluminum breakers have now been outdated due to the issue found and have been replaced by units with a copper bus. He looked at the entire job and what was required to replace it and get the electricity back as soon as possible. He quoted the various options and we worked together to upgrade the unit from 100 amps to 150 amps. He had to replace a large galvanized pipe that enclosed the main wiring and an additional box for the meter. They also got the permit and requested an inspection. Work started in the morning and took until 4:30 pm to do quite a bit of work. Was very impressed with John's knowledge, courteousness and explanation of what needed to be done, why and what the options were for doing the job. He found many mistakes from the previous install also including a Neutral main wire that was not even connected and the A-B wires having different phases were not connected properly to the breakers. Even though I have not had the inspector come out yet, I am very confident the job was done right and no technical details were missed.

They provided an estimate for the work, and only did the work that you needed done. That was helpful. They are on time courteous and friendly. Very Timely and helpful. They date was approximately in May of 2015, it's been about 2 years.

The man was professional and knowledgeable. I would definitely use them again.

Harrison was very professional, thorough and explained everything they suggested doing in our house. We had them do even more than what they had given a bid on for the heated floor.

It went very well as far as the outcome. I just think they were priced too high.

It was great! Dave was early and we went through the whole house with issues. We added more projects including installing 17 new canned lights. What was surprising is he called for another electrician and they delivered the parts and handled it all in one call! That never happens these days. I am extremely pleased. They were kind, helpful, professional, and cleaned up very well!

Working with Harrison has been one of my best service experiences. They were extremely prompt about responding to my request and getting someone on-site. The electrician, Chris, was superb. He was upfront about the estimated cost and, when the job was easier than expected, he came under cost. They will be getting any future electrical contracts that they want from me. A+

Excellent, very responsive, called when on their way, gave estimate prior to starting work, proactive and detailed in what needed to be done. Came back and fixed when we had an issue with work performed. Will definitely call them for future electrical work!

Very impressed with their work and professionalism. A little on the expensive side, but acceptable pricing. Took a little while for things to get going, with the safety inspection and attendant paperwork in the morning, but we appreciated the recommendations on our boxes and breakers as well as other safety recommendations. We were pleased with the work and will hire again.

I was very pleased with my technician (Chris). He was polite, and offered various ways to achieve my desired outcome. I appreciated his honesty and suggestions throughout the process. The quality of the work is great and I could not be happier.

Chris called and let us know a 15 minute time frame when he'd be arriving, assessed the situation and started troubleshooting. On finding out that our downstairs fridge was causing the issue, he suggested some measures we could take to fix it. Since they didn't do any repairs, they charged only the service charge which was reasonable. They provided workarounds for our situation from the first phone call, and provided practical solutions for our issue during the service call. I would definitely call them again and recommend to others.

Great! Done quickly and professionally. Provided information about what was done, where it was, and additional services that might be desired in the future. No hard sell.

Great service & workmanship. Cost seems high, about $350 per hour. They called just prior to appointment & rescheduled to the next day, the day before thanksgiving. Refused to discuss price without coming out. When worker arrived we had run out of time to find someone else before the holiday & had to pay what seemed like a high quote for the job. If you are price sensitive recommend looking at other A rated companies with a better price rating. If good workmanship is a priority they did very good work.
