Our experience was most enjoyable. We were able to be very creative with our fabric mix. The job was done by expected due date.The price was on the high end, but you pay for the quality and convenience.

The upholstery is beautiful and the workmanship is high quality. They were very agreeable to do business with. We purchased the upholstery through them and received a 25% discount. The work was completed in 3 weeks, from order to delivery. Pickup and delivery were included in the price. I would definitely use them again.

On time under expected cost

We also have them on line to do new pillows for a rattan chair and six more dining room chairs. The work they've done so far is fantastic. Bob pays close attention to detail, adding in a few touches that make the pieces look and work that much better. For example, he cleaned up and polished the legs on our living room chairs so they look almost new. Also, he reset the springs on two chairs so they're very comfortable to sit on.

They were a convenient location. They are local and independent. They did an excellent job and I would use them again.

I called and e-mailed around to several potential service providers. Bob quickly responded and had a competitive estimate. He was also able to work with my schedule -- I was trying to get the sofa reupholstered as part of an in-home move (where it would leave the house before the end of August, and return after September 1). Finally, they are able to pick-up and drop off as part of the cost of repairs, which was a huge boost for me as I'm not sure how I'd transport a sofa. The work I wanted done specifically was: 1) reupholster, as the existing fabric was very worn 2) repair a badly cracked bit of the frame 3) make the cushions more comfortable -- the old down ones were lovely when fluffed, but were squishy and not so comfortable once they became flattened His wife staffs the storefront, where I went to select fabric. I took a picture and paint chips with me, and she did a fantastic job of helping me wade through the thousands of options, honing in my aesthetic taste as we went and providing helpful guidance about what would or wouldn't look good. It was a little challenging to set up pick-up and drop-off times, as Harrian doesn't have fixed times I could schedule around and no one is available at home all the time, but we did manage to find times. The sofa returned after dark a week ago. While I was initially surprised by how the swatch I'd seen in daylight looked in the larger context of the sofa and in the different light of night, once I'd had a chance to sit on it and stand back and gaze for a few minutes, it was all I'd hoped for. The sofa looks great, is comfortable, and repaired enough I don't have to worry about a small child running a big-wheel into the weak leg.

I have nothing but good things to say about them. At this time they are being considered to recover 3 caster chairs for my kitchen. These are fully upholstered seats and backs. Will be checking a couple others, but they are certainly at the top of my list to do the job.

I should have been more hands on in the process of what the final project would look like.

They were very good. They came to my house. They were timely and they did excellent work. They are expensive. I would use them again in the future if need be.

They did a great job and they were very prompt. I needed them for a graduation party, and they really helped out. The prices were very reasonable.

At the time I thought the work was done very well, they looked great. They had a fast turn around and a reasonable price. I was very pleased with what they did, they even cleaned up the fabric. When I was there they were very helpful and friendly. They even helped me carry the cushions in and out of the store. Their estimate was higher than the final price. However, it has been about a year and the foam needs replaced again.

My sofa turned out absolutely gorgeous. I'm extremely pleased with Harriann. They're a family business in Linden Hills, knowledgeable and friendly. My sofa has some unique styling, including teak trim, and I wasn't sure if reupholstering might require sacrifice of some of the original features. But it turned out as good as new. Bob did beautiful work. They offer a large selection of fabrics, and helped me choose one that was perfect for the style of the sofa. All in all, a super experience!

I feel that they didn't do as good as job as I expected. I had some fabric that I wanted to use and also purchased some from them. There was a problem that I was not happy with, whether it was an artistic difference between the upholsterer and myself or that he did what he wanted to because it was easier, I don't know. I do wish that there had been more communication between us before he finished the project.

They did beautiful work no complaints. I also asked them to make an extra set of arm covers. They also offered to come and pick up the chair, but I didn't use that service. They were also pleasant to work with.

They did a very good job, I was pleased overall. The work quality was excellent. His wife came to the house and helped me choose the fabric, and then he came out and reupholstered the chair.

Great. The original fabric I selected ended up being discontinued, so Bob called and they had pulled some optional fabric options for me that were similar to what I had chosen they were extremely helpful. After bringing several swatches home, I finally chose an alternative. When the fabric come in, they called right away and came and picked up the furniture. The job was completed in less time than planned and delivered after hours. It looks beautiful. I couldn't be more pleased! I will use them again, given the opportunity and will recommend them to others.

Bob reviewed pattern choices with us at our home. He stated that he would call and arrange a pickup time for the three items. He did not remove anything until he knew that he would have time to complete the work - which we really appreciated! Work was completed prior to the holidays and was beautifully done. My only comment (in hindsight) is that we should have looked at more sample books which might have materials in a less expensive range! We made a down payment but did not request a detailed estimate.

They did an excellent job and I would use them again and recommend them. They were easy to work with and had very reasonable prices. I even gave them a little extra than they charged me.

I found Bob and his wife (I can't remember her name - it's been a few months) to be very pleasant and Bob came over to give me an estimate as well as to pick up and return the chairs. I was able to go to the shop and spend quite a bit of time going over fabric samples in order to find something I liked, but of course what I liked was along the more expensive lines. The chairs look great and the workmanship appears to be very good and smooth, no bulges and things match up. I didn't get a lot of estimates, so I don't know how they compare in terms of price. The timing was a bit longer than I expected, but I wasn't in a big hurry, so that wasn't a problem for me.

The owners were both very helpful in fabric selection and overall knowledge of restoration. Work was done according to schedule and very reasonably priced. We were very pleased with every aspect of this project.

The cushions appear to be well made. The price came in a little higher than the original estimate, and the completion was later than originally scheduled. I would use them again, but I would get the estimate and completion in writing next time.
