The salesman was very nice and knowledgeable. I felt that he was not trying to sell me something that I did not need. He worked around my schedule. If I had questions he would get back to me promptly. They were very clean when they were installing my system. They were very professional and courteous. They were more then happy to answer my questions. It was one of my more enjoyable times to work with someone.

If you're looking for superb customer service and unbeatable prices on the best equipment, look no further. Erik was great to work with. He came to the house and helped choose the right system. He was willing to work with any older components I wanted to keep when possible (i.e., no big sales pitch to buy all new). The prices were much less than I found elsewhere. The installers (Cory and Dan) were perfectionists, neat and pleasant to have around--and I'm picky about those things. The system is amazing--Erik was right on the money with his recommendations. The universal remote controls the system amazingly well and is unbelievably simple to use. Because I was using some older components and wanted to network the TV with my computer, the set-up took a few trips to get it all working. Erik came back several times to get everything 100%. He even helped me make some adjustments on the computer to get it working well. I could go on, but running out of room here. Go with Erik at Halsten!!!!!

We learned a lot with multiple trips to Halsten. Our salesperson (Joe) was patient and really could talk about benefits/drawbacks to different options we were considering. The set we ended up with is fantastic. The installation team was on-time, professional, and did impeccable work. Very happy with their service.

I spoke with all the big box stores, and based on Angie's List, I called Halsten. From the word 'GO', these guys were great to work with. They scheduled a free in-home consult to get a feel for the room. I told them generally what I wanted, and they presented me with options and didn't try to up-sell me. I actually checked every item in the proposal, and did not find a lower price anywhere on the net, or with the big retailers. Easy decision. Halsten showed when they said they would, and they completed the work when they said they would finish. They were great to work with, more than competitive on price, and their level of service went well beyond my expectations (as well as beyond anything the larger retailers could even hope to offer).

Installation was done well and system works well.
