Sergio, Tracy and the team at Guaman Construction were amazing. We knew from previous reviews that as a family business, they were easy to work with and excellent communicators. What we learned firsthand from our bathroom remodel (down to the studs) was that Sergio and team are superb craftspeople, hard-working, and respectful. Our chose a custom remodel for our 1920's Minneapolis bungalow and our input on every detail was taken seriously and incorporated. We now have a walk-in shower with a window (yea!), a non-skid shower pan, and handrails. It's functional and beautiful. The subcontractors chosen by Guaman construction (plumber, painter, electrician, cabinet-maker) were of similar excellent quality. The photos will speak for themselves. My husband and I couldn't be more pleased.

Sergio was great to work with! He is detailed and helpful when making suggestions (which we needed from time to time as our project progressed) and a hard worker.

We've used Guaman for two projects over the course of a couple of years--a remodel of our upstairs and for some assorted handyman projects before we moved. Sergio and his crew did a great job on both projects, and we plan to work with them again the future. Sergio and his team are friendly and easy to work with, and they are honest and fair about pricing.

Sergio Guaman and Tracy have been my go to team since March 2018. The quality of their work is excellent and they are very easy to schedule and work with. Sergio's prices are within the range of others for the work performed and invoices are clear and details. His estimates are on the mark or very close. They have done a lot of work for me in the past year and a half. I have additional work I plan to schedule through Guaman for the upcoming year. It is nice to have a single source I can trust for both handyman work and larger projects.

I called Sergio's phone number to request an estimate, and on the voicemail, it provided an email that could be used to contact as well. I emailed on 6/7/18, and I still haven't heard a response (now 6/18/18).

The service was phenomenal as they were incredibly easy to get in touch with and to work with. They communicated changes, considered ideas, met where necessary, helped with deadlines and gave recommendations. They went above and beyond to help make this project work because of the stiff deadline. They communicated during the weekends, were considerate regarding my handicap and communicated with city officials. They documented everything and submitted all documentation to my email address. The work was beautiful and thorough and very reasonably priced. They stated that their sole interest is to build and great and ethical business that provides top of the line service with quality products - and they did.

Terrible.. I requested a Vinyl side patching job with very close deadline. I bought the materials and when he saw them, he told me they not correct materials. I returned them as he told me he will find the right materials. Later in the night, he emailed me and told me a price he will do for the job including materials which was extremely high, four times more than what it should be. Seemed that he knew I ran out of time and I was in a desperate situation. I told him never mind. And later found another guy to do the job with the fraction of what he asked for. Not only that, the materials he told me were not right turned to be the correct materials.

Sergio's workman arrived on time and set about carefully removing the top rail of a second story porch which had wood rot on the ends. They were very careful to do so without damaging my garden, beneath their ladders. Once they had removed the rail it was apparent that some of the spindles were also rotten. They actually used the the solid part of the removed rail to create new spindles, saving time, and not wasting something that was clearly usable. When they left, I felt that the job was complete and was very satisfied with their work. That said, Sergio showed up shortly there after to check that everything was done as promised. He sanded the new work and made sure everything was ready for paint. He also fixed a drain in my bathroom! Yikes! Totally saved me from calling a plumber! I would absolutely call them again! They are thorough, careful, fairly priced ( their bid was less than half of another bid I had received, which had said that the job would take 2 men 2/3 of a day. In actuality, it took 2 men an hour and a half, 2 hrs if you consider Sergio's time) BIG, BIG THUMBS UP!!!!

Agreed on start date, old flooring was ripped out and new floor was laid. Great job and cleaned up site after job was done. Very professional and answered all questions for me. Nice guys and were trustworthy, would higher next time if needed.

Sergio and his crew do very good work. He is a great communicator and very punctual. We are especially pleased with the quality of our bathroom renovation and our exterior painting.

We just hired Guaman but are impressed with their responsiveness, their cost projection detail, and their prompt service. Even our HUD inspector commented on how detailed and thorough their bid was. They have been on time and prompt to all of our numerous appointments for inspection and appraisal and are working with our lending officers to give them everything they need for this 203K streamlined loan.
