It went very poorly. Have been remodeling home for past two years. Worst contractor dealt with yet. As my wife summed up the overall experience as "over priced and underwhelming". I mean what competent landscaper would put "sun necessary" sod under a group of trees. Ground One said they aren't responsible as they pointed out the low canopy at the start. Those trees have been there over 30 years. Also, I had to abandon their expensive underground gutter downspout solution as it required twice a year attention. My new solution requires attention every 5 years. I am just chalk up the bad experience to me not doing a more extensive job of reference fact checking. Needless to say, they won't be back for my more extensive backyard work this year.

I spent $60000. It was a good experience.

The gentleman responded to my website inquiry within a day and had set up a time promptly. He came over at the appointed time on time and we walked through what I wanted done (replace all the old rotted railroad boundaries in our landscaping). He let me know this was a much bigger job than we had thought and the reasons why. He offered a consultation / drawing package of a new landscape plan for a reasonable fee, but we declined as we weren't looking to redesign the whole landscaping and spend that money at this time. I would definitely call them again when we want to relandscape - they were prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and professional and for sure worth a look.

It's now 10/15 and I haven't heard anything more. I'm still in no hurry but geez....

We thought Ground One did a spectacular job. My husband and I are clueless when it comes to landscaping and plants, but we wanted to make sure that any landscaping done (professionally) was going to add character, beauty, and elegance to our home. Ground One achieve that. I enjoyed working with Pat and his crew (Jason) and would recommend them again in a heartbeat. I thought they were very professional and meticulous in their work. They are probably on the higher end (price) but the end product will speak for itself. If you are looking to add artistry and beauty to your home then I think this will be the company to go with.
