It went well they came when they said they would come. The price was in the correct range for what I needed and was getting. I have not had to have the air on yet as the temperature has lowered. my questions where answered

Went well. Initially I thought the problem was just something with draining and while that was partially at issue, the other problems, when found were quickly and efficiently dealt with.

I have used them for 20-25 years. If they are busy when you call it could take a week sometimes but they show up when they say they will. They are who I call.

My hubby and I hired Golden Valley Heating & Air which was completed on July 19. I did some research before choosing this company as I believe in hiring a good reputable company for installations is just as important as buying a quality product. We dealt with Scott, one of the owners who was a pleasure to work with. The installers Darryl, Josh, and Justin were wonderful. They were at our house on time and did a very nice job as well as being very helpful in answering any questions. Today, we had the city inspector come out and he also mentioned that Golden Valley is a very good company with longtime employees, who care about their customers. I highly recommend Golden Valley Heating and Air, especially when installing or replacing a larger investment. As a last comment, we also recommended GV to our friends who are having their system installed on August 10. The cost shown does not include incentives.

great! they pointed out that the previous home owners finished the basement without installing air returns in appropriate places. The following week they installed two returns and the house now has a similar temp in all rooms :) Their expertise and quality of their work were superior.

Scott came out after our furnace from 2000 developed a failing impeller motor. He laid out our options and we decided not to invest over $1000 in repairing a 16 year old furnace, especially since our particular model had a known defect that would likely be cropping up. Scott answered all of our questions. No hard sell. He was knowledgeable and just presented the information. We decided to go with Golden Valley over two other bids. All the prices were in the same ballpark. Ultimately it came down to our comfort with Scott and the reputation of Golden Valley Heating and Air. The installation tool about 5 hours all together and the crew seemed very experienced. They left the place cleaner than when they arrived. When the city inspector came by he said he had never had an issue with any installation done by Golden Valley. The new furnace is virtually undetectable and the thermostat is easy to use. They also submitted all the paperwork for the rebates.

Chose Golden Valley Heating over two other bids based on comfort with the company, the salesperson (Scott), and the product they suggested. Scott took the time to answer all of our questions and was direct with his advice. The installation could not have gone more smoothly. They arrived on time, did their work, and left the place cleaner than they found it. We love the furnace and the new thermostat.

Iam so disappointed with Golden valley. Golden valley installed my furnace and air conditioner and my son's new furnace. When the technician came he said that if the cap had been put on with pins and screws it wouldn't have blown off. After I told him that Golden Valley had installed the furnace , I was still charged $124.00. I fullly expected that I would not be charged, given high opinion of this Company Since the technician implied that the installation of the cap had been faulty,

Called and got a service call the same day, four hours later. If I could give an A++ for responsiveness & professionalism, I definitely would. The technician was great. He figured out it was a blown fuse in five minutes, and after gathering as much intel from us as he could, he ran a bunch of tests to determine what might have caused the fuse to blow. While it remained a mystery, we do know a lot more about what didn't cause it. The price was a bit steeper than I imagined, but it might be very standard or even a good deal; I didn't check in advance because we have used them before an been happy. I do wish I had an invoice that specified what had been done and what percentage of cost was parts versus labor. Perhaps we were supposed receive one and didn't? Great work, will work with them again.

Very well. Tom showed up in the window promised. Was very friendly (to me and my dog!) and answered all of my questions. First year in a new house and I've never had forced air heat before so I had a few. My system is old - but functioning well now. I appreciated the heads up that replacement parts are not available any longer for my system and that if it goes, I'm looking at replacement. (I expected that, but nice to have a professional confirm). Will definitely use them again.

They replaced the zone control system when they arrived because it was not operating properly. After replacing it, they found that the zone servers didn't work with their controller- they replaced the servers at their cost which out changing my quoted rate even though servers were not included. They did a complete job without increasing the cost for me even though I had extra work which they hadn't budgeted for in the quote. When it was inspected, the inspector gave it a complete thumbs up.

It went very well. The cost was reasonable and the guy was nice.

The process and the work went very well. One of the company owners was the initial contact/estimator, and he provided a wealth of information both about the furnace replacement options, as well as on the rebates and some financing options available. I initially entered the project with the purpose of replacing a furnace which had "died", but after getting a number of companies to look at both the furnace and the air conditioner, the age of the air conditioner was close to the normal "expiration date", and there had been some issues with the configuration of the setup which had bothered me in retrospect, so I decided to go ahead with both. The company office manager worked very closely with me to get the final contract completed and to schedule the job. I appreciated that because I had to put the furnace job off to later in the season due to another high priority home maintenance project that had to be done first; I was very worried about the falling temperatures, but Golden Valley Heating and Air was very understanding and proactive in scheduling me in. Once I was ready to go they were too! I was impressed with that! This company is a family owned business, has been around for a long time and it appears that they will continue to be, they are not a "chain" or franchise type of company, no subcontractors, they had good ratings both on Angie's list, an excellent BBB rating and reviews, and had been recommended by a neighbor who had been happy with their work in the past. The cost was very competitive, the two installers were very professional and pleasant, the job was done on time and to my satisfaction (including cleanup), the inspection was positive, and I'm now enjoying my heat and looking forward to enjoying my air next summer. The configuration issues which had occurred with my first air conditioner installation by another company almost 20 years ago did NOT occur with this installation, so I'm happy about that. I plan to continue to use Golden Valley Heating and Air, and would recommend them highly to others.

I loved their friendly service. They were very helpful and knowledgeable. I feel they were honest.

Golden Valley Heating and A/C spec'ed the replacement furnace, air cleaner and thermostat / controller and was responsive to my questions and competitive in price. This system was sold through CostCo program and installed by Golden Valley Heating and A/C. Golden Valley Heating and A/C was right on time of the installation date and very effectively install the system. They checked my A/C cooling coil and condensation pan and replumbed this to make sure it was ready for use. They were very respectful of our home and cleaned up thoroughly once the job was complete. They brought all of the rebate forms to the installation. Very professional. The inspectors readily passed the installation ! No issues. The system is great. And, there great care to check all aspects to makre sure the system will function properly for years to come was greatly appreciated.

Had wonderful service from these guys. Starting from the no nonsense sales by Doug to the excellent installation by the team. I work nights, they were more than willing to work around my schedule. Doug had to make a couple different trips to my house for different paperwork without any issue. They were very clean and courteous even when having to pull my furnace apart to put in a new coil. When they went to lunch they had the area swept and their tools neatly placed even though they still had half the job left. Have had contractors in the past who would have just left all their tools and garbage around because they were coming back later. Everything was well explained to me, I never felt they were trying to upsell me on anything. I would absolutely use them again.

The installation of the furnace and preparation for the AC was done (3/27) soon after I got the estimate. The installers were courteous and respectful of my home. The furnace was in a confined space and difficult to get the equipment in and out of due to a narrow doorway. They returned 4/29 (after the snow melted and the ground dried out) to put in and hook up the AC unit. When I was using the AC for the first stretch of a few days, it was noted that the unit was louder than it should have been. I called them 6/5 and a service rep came out the same day. They replaced the blade, shaft and motor on 6/12 due to a bent blade.

We were having trouble getting cold air in and we were really happy with the guy that did the work. He did repairs that prevented us from needing to buy an entire new unit. We would use them again if any other repairs are needed. He charged for the freon but not for his labor. He answered my husbands questions and he was really nice to work with.

Golden Valley Heating & Air was excellent. What I like about them is that they are a family owned business and they have all their own workers. They don’t farm out any of their work. It took two days for them to complete the service but that’s just because I had a zone heating put down. It’s a special heating system.

Outstanding service--above and beyond the call of duty. My furnace had been making squealing noises when the fan would start up and the whole house humidifier was not working properly. I called and scheduled an appointment for the week of January 20. On Friday, Jan. 18, my furnace quit working. I called the Golden Valley Heating after hours contact line and spoke with the service rep, Eric Lanning.Together we determined the part that had failed (inducer motor). He had me check whether the fan motor (blower motor) was working (it was). I viewed the schematic for the furnace and was able to tell him the model number and the part that was not working. He went to his warehouse and discovered that they did not have the part in stock. He called his supplier, had them open their warehouse for him, got the part and came to my house. The part replacement was done in 15 minutes. I had contacted Golden Valley at around 6:00 pm and the repair was completed by 8:30 pm. Throughout the evening, the service rep kept in contact with me by phone. I was charged for the service call ($125), the part ($325), and labor (double cost) for a total of $325 on Jan. 18. The same service rep returned the following Wednesday for my scheduled service when he cleaned the flame sensor, inspected the furnace and serviced the whole house humidifier. There was no trip charge and the total cost came to $119. This was my first time using Golden Valley, but I had consulted Angie's List and recommended them to other friends who were very impressed with their work.

It went really well. They were on time and very knowledgeable in their field. There was only one call back for a minor problem, and they came right out and fixed it quickly. They price was fair and they were very good to do business with.

Workers showed up on time, were careful of the areas of our home they had to move equipment thru, and finished in a timely manner. We made our purchase thru Costco and received and excellent price.
