Great experience from start to finish. Their proposal was very detailed, itemizing every portion of work to be performed and covered every level of product they have available. I could easily see how the total cost was adding up and how switching from one level of product to another would impact cost. Communication was excellent. Emails before the install provided dates and what to expect. I received a phone call each morning from the office telling me when the crew would arrive. The crew lead also called on his way to our house. Santiago and his crew were very professional. They carefully protected walls, siding, driveway from overflow or splatter. They cleaned the area at the end of each day. Install went as follows: Tuesday - grind, patch and prime coat, Wednesday - no activity, Thursday - color coat and chip, Friday - scrape, sand and clear coat. The floor looks great. We're extremely pleased with the end result. I would definitely recommend covering any shelves in your garage. There is dust from the grinding process. It was pretty easy to blow off, but the plastic made it easier for the stuff on the shelves. The fumes are significant. The crew taped the door and also put plastic over the door. But there is no way to avoid the fumes. You can't expect much different, but be aware going into it. Love the final product and VERY pleased with the company.

Floor done during cold and windy February week. Took 5 days. First day grinding was easy. 2nd day applied first coat, going good. Didn't dry very fast due to cold temps and wind.....garage heater was going full time. They brought in some unit heaters and dried floor. Then on last three days they placed more coatings and speckles...what a mess as the wind flew the extra speckles all over and outside. but in the end the garage floor was top notch...I mean really good....I mean well worth the money. Haven't used it in winter yet....so we shall see but I can only rate this as very high quality.

It was perfect. They kept me informed, told me when they were coming, and kept me up to date on what was going on. They instructed me on how to set up a POD to store my belongings in during the service. They assisted me with moving my items into the POD and out of the POD once the service was done. It was just the greatest, I was so pleased.

They arrived when they said they would, they cleaned up well each time they left. The crew was very pleasant and worked well together. Christian,the supervisor, was a very pleasant young man that seemed to know exactly what he was doing and what the others should do. H directed with caring and politeness.

We hired them to coat our 3 car garage floor. The floor had bad salt stains, a few cracks and some minor pitting. The salesperson came out and gave us a quote. We decided on the Diamond coating level which has a nice pattern and a lifetime warranty. We also went with a medium roughness so the floor would not be slippery when wet. Monday - grind floor and treat it Tuesday - primer coat Wednesday - Diamond coating layer Thursday and Friday - sand and clear coat each day The workers were professional and only there for a short time on most days. We also purchased floor mats. The floor turned out great. You just sweep and clean with a vinegar / water mixture. My only issue .... I called back to order a squeegee and asked about coating our front sidewalk. That was 12 days ago. I haven't heard from the salesperson and they forgot to order the squeegee. Everyone is very nice but they should have called back about my new job.The squeegee is now on its way. ***UPDATED 6/2/15 *** After the review above I received the squeegee. The salesperson (Dave O.) emailed me and said he would be out the next week. I responded that would be fine. That was the last I heard from him. We have decided not to go with our second project phase as we had a small time frame window. Their loss, as one of my neighbors was going to have him quote their project too. I would still recommend them but just not the salesperson.

it was very cold week of installation. first step went quick on brand new home, garage floor, 3 bay, with two steps into house. Second day went OK but wind was strong and caused a lot of flakes to fly around - a bit of a mess but was told they are biodegradable - will see come spring - first coat did not dry well so 3rd day they brought their own heat and fourth day they put two final coats on - let it dry for two days and then set a few days more. Floor looks great, feels a bit sharp with bare feet but not bad....haven't brought car in - probably won't because drive way is dirt. Overall, great job. sales person up sold hi end coating but I knew that and the hi end coating is really nice. He also made sure I got the big state fair discount in September and work was completed in February. 2% discount for cash. Paid half up front. Very good communication. Schedule a little problematic but they are running a business and had to come quite far. Smell not bad as doors were sealed. Garage looks great

The sales person was great, he was on-time, easy to talk to and very reachable. The floor looks great and so glad we completed the project! The only thing I give them lower marks on was the clean-up after the service. They did not clean up anything and we spent hours cleaning up all of the small flecks up.

They are a great company to work with. Our sales person was very knowledgeable. He helped us choose the surface that would work best in our basement after we had repaired floors post water damage. The morning of our scheduled install we got a call that they had a problem with the truck our supplies were on and needed to reschedule. After I had explained that I had taken a day off from work and had moved the dogs to a kennel the scheduler reloaded our supplies on to another truck and was able to still start our project that day a little later. We had been told this would be a multiple day project and been prepared for the strong odor on the 2nd day. It all went as scheduled. The crew at our house was very pleasant. They put protection down on our floors and did a great job of cleaning up after. We love the way the floors turned out. They are so easy to clean and make the basement look so bright and finished. No grout to mess with like if we had used tile. They even added an anti-slip texture so our dogs won't have trouble walking on it with damp paws. All our friends are awed when we show them the difference the flooring made in our lower level.

The quality was extraordinary. GFC sealed some of the way up the garage sidewalls to protect the floor from ice entering at the cracks. Most companies (even good ones) do not do this because it takes more time, effort, and money. We used GFC's "liquid stone" option and the finished floor is absolutely beautiful compared to the standard grey epoxy / plastic chip flooring. I have waited to review because I wanted to see how easy the floor is to clean and how it handles winter ice. It is amazingly easy to clean - when we have a thaw I just turn on the hose, scrub the floor lightly with water and a push broom, and squeegee. (They also recommend cleaning with vinegar which I will do after things thaw properly in the spring.) There is no apparent wear at all in the flooring and I am confident it will last a very long time. I would recommend GFC to anyone who wants to protect their concrete or improve the look of a garage or basement floor.

The service went great. 3-4 technicians came out and completed the job in 3 days. They were punctual and did exactly what they said they would. They were honest and had outstanding products. The lady at the office, Susan, called me every day to update me on the project. They bent over backwards for me and I cannot say enough good things about the company. Scheduling went perfectly.

They called every day to let us know when the crew would show up. The job was completed in 3 days. I was impressed with the entire process including grinding, sealing, sanding the observation by the crew leader to add extra color chips in the area of the expansion joints then returning to add an additional layer of clear coat to the floor before adding the non-slip surface. I had them caulk the perimeter at the walls and treat about 3and quot; up the walls to prevent salt from penetrating the block walls. Their communication on the job with the customer, back to the office, and office to me was exceptional and makes all the difference to me when selecting a contractor. It looks great and will enjoy using it this winter.

GFC has some suspect sales practices. I submitted a request through Angie's List and received prompt follow-up from a woman at GCF, I wish I remembered her name, she told me all the options available and was very knowledgable. I explained that I was building a new house and wanted the garage floor sealed. She mentioned they had a product available (Bronze System) and asked when they could schedule a time to look at it. I informed her that the garage floor had yet to be poured. She said the best option was once it was poured to call back and setup an estimate appointment. It sounded good and I was happy with the initial customer service. To my surprise they had poured the garage floor that afternoon when I visited the home site. So the next day I called back. I got a different woman, receptionist, and she said all sales people were unavailable. She took my information and said she would have someone call me back. Two days later and I had not heard from anyone. I decided to use the contact form on their website to try again. I did receive a call back the same day from Daniel. He explained the options, but I said I was just looking for clear sealer. He time and time again proceeded to up-sell to coating, which I was not interested in. He said he would put a quote together if I could send him the dimensions. I was able to send a full layout of the garage with all dimensions so he did not need to come on-site. The next day or two I received the quote. No mention of the product I was looking for, just every coating option available. Even one with a worse warranty then they Bronze Level clear sealer. So after all the back and forth I didn't even receive a price for the project I was looking to accomplish. Why does GFC offer a product they don't want to sell? I guess it is a lost sale GFC, maybe not a $2000 sale, but still a lost sale.

First of all, the garage floor looks beautiful. You would never know that it was originally installed 40+ years ago. Edgar and his team were very professional, extremely neat, informative , helpful (they moved a few concrete blocks off the garage floor for me) and just a really great team to work with. I am so happy with the results that I plan to have them back next spring to put an epoxy coating on the concrete floors in my laundry room and work room. I didn't get the senior discount, however. I should have mentioned it but forgot.

Overall an easy process from my perspective. The project happened about a month from the quote, which was the original time table estimate. The office and crew were excellent at communicating every day and were professional and friendly. They finished about a day earlier than anticipated. The final product looks great and is a vast improvement over the bare slab. I was given a discount as the company was referred to me by my original garage builder.

They did a great job. Customer service was excellent. They called before the start of each day to tell us when they would arrive. The 3 person crew worked well together and was very efficient. They put mats on the driveway to protect it while working. They were very careful when coating near walls and the driveway. The finished garage looks great. The odor is strong but opening windows in the house helped dissipate it. The price included upgrades and discounts from the Minneapolis Home & Garden Show.

Very well! We've had a lot of contractors out recently, most of which have not been pleasant experiences. Garage Floor of MN kept us posted daily as to when they'd be out and did a great job. There were two very minor flaws when they were done that they returned to repair quickly. We received their top of the line, lifetime warranty, "liquid stone" finish and are very pleased so far.

Went great, all the way from initial phone contact, to on-sight cost estimate and explanation of options and process, to execution of floor coating procedure. Everyone was professional and a pleasure to work with. Did a great job; well within expectations. Thanks!

This company is very responsive in the communication department. they set up the job months in advance the moved the date up due to an opening. They called each day to confirm when the crew would arrive. The crew was very professional.

This was a great experience! Good customer service, with calls and paper work sent to provide details of the work in terms of how to prepare, what to expect while the work is performed, and after-care tips on how to clean and maintain the new floor. The new floor looks incredible and is additional motivation for me to finish my garage remodel! The guys doing the work really were detail-oriented and their work met my very high standards for results. I could not have asked for a better work crew!

Garage Floor Coating of Minnesota did a real great job. Their machinery broke down one day but they still did the work in the specified time, so we're very satisfied with them.

Crew showed up on Tuesday to prepare the surface for a couple of hours. Returned on Thursday to fill cracks and apply color and chips. Friday they applied the topcoat. We moved stuff back in on Sunday. The coating looks better than we could have imagined. We did visit their showroom, which was beneficial. Seeing the coating on actual concrete vs. on a sample chip gave us a clear picture of what to expect. Our floor was in fair shape with a few spots in rough shape and these guys really made it look nice. One small blemish (protruding sharp debris) was repaired within days of our noticing it and requesting repair. Way to stand by the product and installation. The smell does hang around for a few days, but it is bearable in the rest of the house. They cleaned up after themselves well. Punctuality grade is reduced due to their vision of and quot;first thing in the morningand quot; - it's not 8:00. More like 10:00. A call with an estimated time would be appreciated.
