Dan and his assistant Ben, were able to wash and paint this one and a half story home well within a week's time. Dan was instrumental in helping me decide paint colors for the foundation and ledge work. He also pointed out cracks and was able to fix them with minimal additional cost. Overall, the job was well done at a very reasonable cost and I highly recommend him and will be using him for all my interior painting requirements as well.

He painted just about all the rooms, he was reasonable, Professional, quick and did a good job.

I am very unhappy with the billing for this project. The original quote was $2310. I was shocked to receive a final bill for $3660. That's almost a sixty percent increase over the original bid. We were told that the difference was due to a $30/hour rate for stripping wallpaper and wall preparation, which we were advised of up front. It's true that were told of this rate. But, a bid that is sixty percent under final cost is not straightforward. It may be that it took longer to strip wallpaper than expected, but we never would have accepted this bid had we any idea what the final bill would be. Where stripping wallpaper will obviously be part of the job, that should be included in the bid amount. If the contractor insists on charging hourly for this, then he should provide an estimate of this cost too. We passed up several good contractors with competitive bids based on this contractor's low bid.

After having Freeman Painting paint the trim on our house last year, I hired them to paint our bedroom, walls, ceiling and trim. Dan and his employee were helpful in choosing colors and efficient in their work. They had to add a step to the process and were courteous and prompt with the extra work. They are exceptional at their work, prompt, professional and accommodating. I plan to hire them for future paint jobs.

Dan was extremely polite, friendly, punctual, reasonably priced and professional. The guys who worked for him were, too. He fit me into their schedule pretty quickly and did the work in just a few days. They removed shelves, furniture, and other obstacles by themselves and replaced them neatly afterward. The rooms looked very nice. I have recommended Freeman Painting numerous times to friends since then. In fact, I am about to hire them again for some more work.
