They did very good work. We ran out of the right tiles and had to go back and have another kind of tile to mix with it. He was very accommodating to the change.

Final Form were excellent to work with. Charlie and Nick were extremely honest and upfront with all communication about project timeline and methods. They managed the work of and facilitated all communication with the electrical sub-contractor, and handled all communication with the city of Shoreview for permits and inspections. All inspections passed with flying colors. The work started with an in-home visit with Charlie to go over what we wanted. Charlie made a suggestion on the plan (instead of remodeling part of the front-hall closet to become a pantry for the kitchen, we had additional cabinets installed instead) which we ended up implementing. Charlie drew up a sketch of the new kitchen layout and reviewed it with us on a second visit, and then we discussed details (countertop material, placement of outlets and lighting fixtures, etc.).. The work started on schedule in late January, all permits secured and posted. On each day they worked, they took the time to curtain off the area being worked on and to clean up at the end of the day, so that each day we were left with a clean, usable kitchen and dining area--they really took pains to minimize the impact on our daily routine. The framing, drywall, painting, flooring and a majority of the electrical were complete and passed inspection within two weeks. There was a lull in activity at home while they worked on fabricating the cabinets and built-in desk. The final installation of the cabinets, new countertop, trim, the remaining electrical and fixtures took another week, and final inspections were passed soon after that. The quality of the work is excellent. The kitchen looks as if it had always been the way it is now--having custom-made cabinets to match the style and stain of the existing cabinets saved the headache of trying to match them from a catalog or having to replace them all. Even with a difference in age of 40+ years, the new cabinets are almost the same shade of stain as the old. The best thing about working with Charlie and Nick was their professionalism and courteous manner. You could tell they cared very much about satisfying their customer, not just with the quality of the work, but with the experience of having the work done in a way that made the customer as comfortable and confident as possible throughout the whole process.
