Eddy got the door open, and evaluated the sliding door lock. He explained what was wrong with the locks and offered suggestions. Since the first lock didn't need replacement and the other one needed to be replaced by the company that installed the sliding door, he didn't charge me at all. I appreciate his punctuality and honesty, and will definitely call him again.

Eddie was very prompt both setting up the appointment and doing the actual work. He was very pleasant to work with and was honest and upfront about the options I have for a warped/previously broken into garage door. He was pleasant to work with and very efficient!

Eddy came within and hour and a half of my call to provide a free estimate. He repaired the lock so I did not need to replace it. I was happy to have the repair done so I did not need to spend more time, money, and hassle replacing new locks. The repair was only $20, but the service call $65. Still less than buying new locks and all new keys, and definitely more convenient. I called based on a local business referral and wished I'd checked Angie's beforehand, so perhaps I could have used the %15 of service coupon.

This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. The technicians were very rude - this was for the back door of my small business. They said I had to move a car that was parked in the spot next to the entrance (not blocking at all) but we could not locate the owner. They shouted at my staff telling her they needed to back their truck up closer to reach their tools. We offered to help carry their tools the 10' to the door, and they left in a huff and we never heard from them again. They were also scheduled to go to my other location, and never showed up. When we called them to inquire and to let them know they wouldn't be able to get their van close due to stairs, they hung up on us. ZERO stars on this one!

I've used this locksmith before and I will use them again....again...and again. Priced very fair, and his response time, professionalism and service has always been top notch! Hire them confidence.

We needed a lock replaced on a patio door. Made the call on a Sunday afternoon. From initial contact to install was less than 12 hours. Very professional, efficient, and well priced. We would definitely use Ed again.

Showed up on time, with all of the right equipment. A little confusion over the price. The installer thought the price was too low. When I asked if finding them through Angie's List made the difference, he agreed. The service only took about 1/2 hour, less than I expected. Installer was very friendly.

I had my wallet and keys stolen, my wallet had my address on he drivers license and the keys to everything. I called fast eddie's and someone was there within an hour. They tried to rekey but the locks on my house were so old it couldn't be done. So the locks were replaced with extra keys made. I was impressed at how quick and efficient they were and ready for anything to not go well - which in house over 100 years things don't always go well. Its nice to know how quick they respond when your home is compromised.

An excellent job! Was responsive to my questions and requirements. Our home was formerly a foreclosure, so there was damage to the front doorframe. Eddy installed a special plate that made it stronger than it was originally. He put in new locks everywhere to replace the cheap stuff the bank used. Plus, he put a new lock on my condo mailbox :-) I especially liked how he called me from his truck after he was there for the estimate, because he had heard me say I saw him on Angie's List, and told me to deduct 15% from the quote! He's in my contact list.

went great. Due to the number of lock changes, any recommendations to simplify/reduce cost would have been nice, but unusual property. no complaints - punctual, efficient, etc.

I was very impressed with the quick appointment (I expected to have to wait several days), as they came the day after I contacted Fast Eddys. They arrived promptly, and on my schedule. They did a great job and cleaned up after finishing.. I'd say they were there for maybe 15 minutes and gave me two new keys. Yay! The lock works just great, and I couldn't be happier.

He was courteous, prompt, came out the next day after I called him, and when I had an issue with one of the locks, he came back and fixed it without charging any fees!

Fast Eddy really IS fast! I called him on a Friday and he came out the next day (and didn't charge me extra for the weekend, like other companies would have). The service call is $55, $20/cylinder, 2 keys are free and it's $3 for every key thereafter. He said if you need a key to lock the door, that is considered one cylinder. I have 3 doors with a deadbolt and keyed knob on each door, hence the 6 cylinders. After doing the math I expected to pay around $180 for the job, but he said he was offering a 50% off special for AL members. I coudln't believe my luck! He used a power tool to take all the locks out of the door and take them to his truck. He also made me 5 keys on sight. Eddy is pleasant and personable. He said the job would take about 45 min, which turned out to be very accurate. It was a great experience and I'll definitaly use him again in the future!

His rates are good and he's prompt. He shows up on time and gets the problem taken care of onsite. He gets in for what he was called for, gets it done and gets out.

I initially contacted Fast Eddy's via the Angie's List contact form. He responded to me within hours providing me a quote on re-keying 6 locks. We were able to arrange a time and date over email and he was able to come that night. He was on time, and very nice and courteous. He was able to re-key a total of 8 locks for us, as well as, provide us a quote on updating an old door handle we had. The work took approximately 90 minutes to complete. I had received quotes from 3 businesses and his was the best. Would definitely use Fast Eddy again.

A great example of his level of service happened this past Summer. I was standing outside of one of my client's new homes on a Saturday morning. They had purchased a home from a couple who had just finished a bitter divorce. One of the past owners showed up at the house stating that some personal items had been left behind. When she could not find them she became agitated. My clients became a litte worried and said they needed to change the locks ASAP. I called Eddy from the front yard expecting his voicemail since it was the weekend. He answered, I explained the situation, and within 4 hours from that moment, the entire house had brand new locks. My clients were exctatic, and I was thoroughly impressed.

I am a maintenance technician at an apartment complex in Eagan and own rental properties and have been using Fast Eddy exclusively for 15 years. He is knowledgeable and has always been prompt, reliable, and professional and does his best to keep the cost down.
