+ -1 moreOverall it went ok. I had two consultations she was late twice sometimes by 45 min and the other 30 minutes. The first time basically wanted to get an idea for what I needed and talked about what I needed to organize. They had some literature to look through but not a lot. Second time she seemed a little un-organized she seemed too busy. Didn't seem like she had enough time for my projects or the right paperwork put together. When she focused in she was really good at her job she had a lot of good ideas.
Description of Work: They helped us with organization stuff with my home. (Organization projects inside my home.)

+ -1 moreShe organizes things according to my habits and needs. She if fun and easy to work with. She is action oriented and we get a lot done in a little time. Great ideas handling donations and has a lot of resources to get rid of things. price per hour. I have her in about every six months.

Description of Work: After taking a community eduction course taught by Louise Kurzeka I was impressed and planned to call her for my personal organizing needs. She was very helpful and knowledgeable about organizing. We needed a system for handling paper in our home to eliminate paper clutter and disorganization. She met with my husband and I to inquire about our needs and design a system we could use to effectively manage the paper in our household. This included routines, file set-up, suggested supplies, materials, and retention.

+ -1 moreLOUISE KNOWS HER STUFF AND IS FANTASTIC TO WORK WITH. SHE WAS ONE OF 12 ORGANIZERS/EFFICIENCY CONSULTANTS I INTERVIEWED. (I FOUND HER AND THE OTHERS AT NAPO.ORG.) FOR WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR, SHE WASN'T JUST AT THE TOP OF THE LIST BUT FAR AHEAD OF THE PACK IN RELEVANT EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE. SHE PROVIDES HOME/ PERSONAL ORG BUT ALSO HAS EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE WORKING W/ BUSINESSES/ PRO-FESSIONALS. SHE HAS A LOT OF EXP. W/ PEOPLE WHO THINK/ACT/WORK IN NON TRADITIONAL PATTERNS AND HER SUGGESTIONS REFLECT THIS. SHE ASKS GOOD QUESTIONS, GETTING INFO THAT I MAY NOT HAVE THOUGHT TO PROVIDE. SHE UNDERSTOOD MY IDIOSYNCRASIES AND DIDN'T TRY TO CHANGE THEM TO FIT TRADITIONAL MODELS BUT SUGGESTED PROCESSES, STRATEGIES AND SETUPS WHICH ACCOMMODATED THE WAY I WORK. SHE ALSO PROVIDES INFO ON OTHER RESOURCES, AND CALLS LATER TO SEE HOW IMPLEMENTATION OF HER SUGGESTIONS IS GOING. LIFE IS BETTER--I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER.

TO DISCUSS PARTICULAR AREAS OF INTEREST/CONCERN AND CAME TO THE APPT. W/ PLAN TO ADDRESS THOSE. THERE ARE OTHER CONSULTANTS WHO ARE LESS EXPENSIVE (AND SOME WHO ARE MORE). SOME PEOPLE I SPOKE TO PROVIDE OFFICE CONSULTING BUT IT WAS MORE IN THE NATURE OF HOME OFFICE/ PERSONAL FINANCIAL, OR SOMETHING THEY ARE WILLING TO DO BUT HAVEN'T. SO DON'T STOP WITH COMPARING $: FACTOR IN HER RELEVANT TRAINING, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE AND SHE IS THE BEST VALUE AND, COMPARED TO SOME OTHERS, A BARGAIN.
