EVERSHARP

I am so happy! First the sharpening service was high quality, cheap, and fast. But more importantly this whole process restored my faith in small businesses and businesspeople. My contact called to ask about fixing a bent tip and followed quickly when my credit card failed. The packaging sent back had a nice hand written note and so carefully wrapped, it could have been a gift! And it was because my knives are perfectly sharp! $5 each?!! Even with shipping this is cheaper than our local store charging $20 per knife. Kudos and thank you!!!

I was mostly pleased with their services. However, they didn't properly sharpen the filet knife and I'm afraid the blade is ruined.

I had gone years since having my kitchen knives sharpened. I called my local hardware store and cooking store and they would send the knives out and return in a week, and would not do scissors or serrated knives. I found Eversharp on Angie's list and went on Sat. afternoon at 3. I walked in, was greeted immediately, and they took my set and started working on them. Within 20 minutes I was done, all was sharpened even the serrated knives. I got some nice kitchen accessories, they have a wonderful assortment of cutting boards. This is THE place to go!! Cooking is a pleasure with my sharp sharp knives. They recommend having it done every 6 months.

I arrived 15 minutes before closing time on a Saturday afternoon and walked out of the store at 4:30 with the job done.

I brought in 2 pairs of scissors to be sharpened. I had a 20 minute wait, which I spent browsing in their store (cutting boards, knives, Swiss army knives, etc.); however, I saw that some people had dropped off their knives / scissors, etc. and came back to pick them up. The help was fast, friendly, and they obviously know a lot about knives, scissors, sharpening tools, etc. A great store with great service!

They sharpened the blade while I waited. There was a super helpful person who showed me various products they carried and told me about all of their services. I'll have a pile next time I go.

Sharpening service was very prompt as it was performed while I waited (this was very convenient for me). The sharpening service that I had used in the past did not have the ability to sharpen a serrated blade knife. The blade of this knife had been further damaged by it being sharpened by conventional means intended for straight edge blades only. They were able to regrind the serrations into the knife properly at what I thought was a reasonable price. My wife communicated that she thought the blades of knives were sharper with Eversharp than with the service that we used in the past. I was even given a small quantity discount. I will be using this service again.

Amazing professional, prompt, personalized service. They know their knifes and discussed the particulars related to specific knifes, and care. They sharpened a bunch of knives in a half an hour at a very reasonable price. I asked about a warranty exchange on a knife and they were able to do it on the spot. It really is a kind of old world service that is almost gone from any business environment today. And my knives are sharp!

Sharpening was quick, friendly and professional, from the moment I walked in the door till everything was finished. Their stock of knives and related items (which I browsed while sharpening was being done) is amazing. Eversharp is absolutely the place to go for anything related to knives and scissors. These folks are great to work with! Very pleasant, welcoming environment, and really knowledgeable. I brought my knives in to their shop, where one person got right to work sharpening and another chatted with me (answered questions, helped me understand proper procedure and maintenance, etc). These knives are now really sharp, I feel I got a great deal (very low price), and will definitely go back to them in the future!!

Eversharp does excellent work. It has to tell you something that most of the restaurants in town send their knives here for sharpening. Even with my tiny order, though, the knives are sharp. Sometimes it takes longer to wait for other customers to get their knives sharpened than it takes to get your own sharpened. But the few minutes it takes them to sharpen knives is a good opportunity to wander around and look at their deals. I'll be back -- even outside of their $1-a-knife sale, this is a fair price for good work.

Appreciated them telling me about the deal and explaining how to use their tools. It only took about 15 minutes for them to sharpen my knives so it was not a big investment of my time. They were very courteous and polite while I was in store and told me about the reconditioned knives they sell at very good prices.

I saw a newspaper ad for a three-day knife sharpening sale (one dollar per knife) and decided it was time to have my kitchen knives sharpened professionally. The store was VERY crowded when I arrived (due to it being the first day of the sale). Most of the people were standing around waiting for their knives to be sharpened and having a great time chatting with each other. It was a very cheerful atmosphere. I had taken only three steps inside the door when I was asked if I had knives to be sharpened. Amazing, given the crowd in the store that day. I was told it would take 30 minutes to sharpen my knives. They were ready in 20 minutes!! On non-sale days I'm sure the wait time is significantly less. While waiting people were 'loading up' with knives and kitchen gadgets, many of which were on sale. That included me. I bought a knife sharpener. Cutting boards were the most popular item by far. Every square inch of the store walls is covered with knives and kitchen gadgets from floor to ceiling. It's great. The store staff were calm, courteous, well-organized, professional and available to answer questions from the crowd even during the chaos of the sale. In short these guys are simply the best, period.

I really liked those two guys. The place is easy to find now and there are some signs on the main roads. Seem to really know a lot about knives and they have a huge selection of refurbished knives for sale-- even bigger than Williams Sonoma's selection and at a fraction of the cost. They spent some time showing me some knives after I asked and had some good tips and answered all my questions. I'd definitely go back, and I don't think I'd even consider anywhere else for buying a knife again.

I really like their prices. They got the job done quickly. The quality of their work is exceptional. They were friendly and had a very inviting atmosphere. They were easy to talk to and answered all of my questions.

I've been taking my cutlery to Ever Sharp for about a year now. They do a great job each time and its amazing the difference between working with a dull and sharp knife. Last visit I took my hunting knife in which had been through the Deer, Elk and Turkey seasons. The thing is sharp enough to shave with! BTW, I mentioned that I had seen an ad in the paper about a special for $1 knife. I mentioned it was expired, but they honored it anyway. Every time I've stopped by, they have been able to help me while I waited.

Master's Edge is great - the owner clearly has a passion for knives and explained a lot about knife quality to me and what types hold an edge the longest. I didn't realize how dull my knives where until I took them to be sharpened. I'll be going back.

I came across the Masters Edge rating on Angie's List and I have been looking for a good place to have knives sharpened. Without calling first, I stopped down on a Saturday afternoon, an hour before closing, expecting to drop off knives and pick them up at a later date. I showed the knives to Joe and he said he would sharpen them while I waited. This was a bonus because it is quite a distance from home to his location. Joe did an excellent job of sharpening the knives, was very informative, taking the time to explain how knives dull and the sharpening process. Overall, a very pleasant and painless experience.

After telling me that he doesn't sharpen this type of blade, he went on to explain how to set up my mower so that it would sharpen itself! Very nice guy, will definitely call for other sharpening tasks.
