They cleaned the filters fine; however, the system purchased for several thousand dollars does not properly filter well water iron. Requires service every 2-3 months to clean filters and does not take out iron properly. Turned 6 bathroom showers, toilets and sinks in 5,000+ sq. ft. home Orange and required full day of professional cleaning to get iron out. This was 3 months after last filter cleaning. Response from company was "clean filters even more frequently - this is normal". They are arrogant about their system performance that does not work well and requires frequent service. Purchased new iron and water conditioning system from another company and no service calls or filter cleaning required. Conditioned water quality improved significantly with other products. Do not recommend whole house filtration system from this company.

I love my Eco Smarte pool. I have had it for 10 years and at the time we installed it, no one had heard of a chlorine free pool. I have them open and close the pool each year, and except for replacing the copper bars every few years it is very little maintenance. Any time I had questions with my water quality I would bring in my samples and they would tell me what needed tweeking. Now after having had it for several years, I get the levels set correctly, flip the switch and literally never have to do much at all. In fact when we first got it I went into the office and asked them why I wasn't having to do anything to my water, were my numbers correct?? I had no idea it could be so easy to maintain my water clarity.The money we save in chemicals along with no bloodshot eyes, no green hair and no ruined bathing suits is well worth it. The staff at Eco Smarte is very helpful and responsive. I would highly recommend the Eco Smarte product as well as the staff.

Totally painless installation. Tech had to leave for some parts, but got the job done just fine. I was still waiting for my tile guys to finish, so it was a week or so before pool was full so I could power this up. Easy to run, got used to doing a few new chemistry tests and using acid to reduce the pH. I am not fond of the manual, which seems to skip around a bit when it could be simpler, but this is really an easy sanitation system. Pool water has been sparkly blue - I just skim leaves and run my robot, test pH, copper and hardness weekly, adjust pH, switch to ionize for a day a week, and add a little shock after big rainstorms. A vast improvement over the bromine I used previously. Water is really nice now.

Tech was professional and efficient, pool filtered well afterward and required less backwashing, just as claimed. He even cleaned up and hauled the old material away. This year I am planning to add their sanitizing system and was hoping to find a review of that.
