The representative was prompt, efficient, and caring. The company came to do the work when promised. They finished promptly. We have recommended the company to others. We will use them again when it is time to reseal our driveways.

From the first phone call to the last touch-up, the experience was great! Shelley came out and gave an estimate the very next day and was very careful with measurements and listening to what I had in mind. The price seemed high, but we were able to compromise on a few things to make it satisfactory for both of us. Everyone on the tear-up and the asphalt crews was knowledgeable, personable, and very, very good at what they do! I never felt in the way while watching and asking questions. Shelly and her crew even accompanied me to select blocks for the new retaining wall. I feel confident this wall will last and it looks great! They even fixed an out-of-whack gate at the back of the parking pad so it swings freely over the asphalt! Shelley always called to let me know when work would be done, and everybody always showed up when expected. All in all a very positive experience. I would definitely recommend this company!

I am satisfied with the job, that they did. But it did take them a little while to respond to a problem I had, but I am satisfied with their work.

The customer service was great. We had a personal visit from a rep the same day the tear up was done. He stated he wanted to make sure we were satisfied with the work that was performed. He was able to schedule the second phase for the next day. The workers were very friendly and knowledgeable. They did a wonderful job with clean up and our driveway looks great. The end result of the work is very nice. We are happy with it, however I would not call the experience a good one. The 1 1/2 week estimate turned into 4 1/2. We would have been quite happy with the timing if we had been told that upfront. Work would not get done when promised, and updates were hardly ever volunteered. I generally had to call to find out what the problem was, even after complaining several times about lack of communication. Subcontractors were not well supervised. Our retaining wall was fully built by an unsupervised employee, and needed to be torn down and redone because it wasn't stable. Stacy sometimes didn't know what work had been done that day, and was sometimes surprised that nothing was done because she had not spoken with the workers. An expensive wood swing was damaged, but I was reimbursed. While I have no complaints about the end result, the experience was one of frustration. When I'm spending 5 figures, I expect more customer service than I received.

Gary was who I dealt with. He seemed nice and the crews were friendly. We signed a contract and the crews came and did the excavation right away and then we never heard anything. We finally called after a few weeks to find out what was going on. They had to farm out the concrete job to another company. There are some spots that look like they will chip off, but the other company gave us a year warranty. This other company apparently bid higher than Earth Wizards expected and Gary basically said that we changed our plans and that is why it cost more. Well, we did not change our plans and so I would recommend a detailed dimensional plan on the quote. My husband requested a different grade of tar and was told that would be fine, but that isn't what they used. We asked for the 5% discount offered through Angie's List, and because of their mistake in estimating the sidewalk. They only gave us a discount on the driveway. The job was done only a couple weeks late, which was not bad.

I liked the salesman, she seemed attentive. I, however, woke up one morning to my driveway being torn up - unbeknownst to me. Though I had signed the contract, we agreed it would be some months before work was done, as I was having other workmen/dumpsters on the driveway in the interim. I was somewhat aghast when I returned home that night to see lumpy soft dirt in my driveway. While they had called the morning they laid the base, they didn't wait for my approval to do so. They also didn't say it would take 2 days to lay base. They almost paved without my permission as well. At least I received that message and was able to respond timely. All that said, I'm happy with the end product.

The company representative, and the guys that did the work were very easy to work with. They made helpful suggestions along the way. My only negative comment is that the company representative was a bit over zealous in collecting payment.

SHELLY WAS OUR ESTIMATOR. SHE WAS VERY POLITE AND PROMPT. GAVE A THOROUGH PRESENTATION AND FOLLOWED UP A FEW TIMES. ESTIMATE WAS $12,000. DECIDED TO GO WITH ANOTHER COMPANY.

THE FIRST TIME THE LADY ESTIMATOR CAME TO MY HOUSE, I WAS SO TIRED I DIDN'T HEAR THE DOOR BELL RING. I FELT REALLY BAD ABOUT IT. SHE OFFERED TO COME BACK. I THOUGHT THAT WAS REALLY NICE OF HER. THE LADY WAS PUNCTUAL, INFORMATIVE AND NICE TO TALK TO. I DIDN'T FEEL ANY PRESSURE TO MAKE ANY DECISIONS. I WOULD HAVE GONE WITH THEM BUT I CHOSE ANOTHER COMPANY.

GOOD EXPERIENCE OVERALL. SHELLY (THE SALES REP) KEPT IN TOUCH. WORK WAS DONE IN A TIMELY FASHION. RESULTS LOOK GOOD. DRIVEWAY AND ENTRYWAY HAVE GOOD DRAINAGE AND APPEARANCE. PAYMENT AS EXPECTED. ONLY ISSUES WERE AS FOLLOWS, RESULTING IN A ''B'' FOR PROFESSIONALISM (ONLY PLACE I COULD THINK TO PUT THE GRADE FOR THESE ISSUES): 1. CLEANLINESS OF GARAGE AFTER THEY FINISHED. I THINK THEY GOT THE FLOOR DIRTIER THAN THEY EXPECTED. WHEN THEY CLEANED UP, THEY OBVIOUSLY COULDN'T FLUSH IT OUT THE GARAGE DOOR ON THE NEW ASPHALT, SO THEY SWABBED IT UP A BIT AND LEFT IT. WE ARE STILL TRACKING IT AROUND AFTER THREE WEEKS. BUT, THAT'S MINOR. 2. SHELLY WAS A BIT AGGRESSIVE IN COLLECTING THE FINAL PAYMENT. ACTUALLY, WE GOT THE INVOICE IN THE MAIL THE SAME DAY, AFTER SHE CAME OVER TO GET THE CHECK THAT MORNING. WE PAY OUR BILLS, THANK YOU. NO NEED TO CHASE US DOWN. AGAIN, IT WAS ONLY MINOR.

VERY GOOD OVERALL EXPERIENCE. THE TOPOGRAPHY OF OUR PROPERTY PRESENTED A BIT OF A CHALLENGE FOR REPLACING A DRIVEWAY, BUT STACEY PROPOSED A SOLUTION THAT WAS FAR MORE ATTRACTIVE THAN THAT PROPOSED BY ONE OTHER BIDDER. SHE PROPOSED TO REGRADE THE DRIVE A BIT TO DIRECT SOME RUNOFF INTO A NEW ''RAIN GARDEN,'' WHICH HER PEOPLE WOULD ALSO INSTALL, IN AN AREA OF OUR YARD THAT WAS PREVIOUSLY JUST LAWN. ALTHOUGH OUR FIRST 2 MEETINGS MADE ME A BIT CONCERNED ABOUT PUNCTUALITY, ONCE THE PROJECT WAS A GO, SHE AND HER CREW WERE PUNCTUAL AND RESPONSIVE. THE PROJECT WAS STARTED AND FINISHED WITHIN A WEEK AND A HALF. EACH OF THE 2 CREWS (THE REGRADING/ASPHALT CREW, THEN THE BIOLOGIST & LANDSCAPERS) WERE VERY POLITE AND WILLING TO EXPLAIN WHEN WE/OUR NEIGHBORS HAD QUESTIONS. THE DRIVEWAY LOOKS FABULOUS AND WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING THE GARDEN GROW AND FILL OUT IN THE NEXT FEW YEARS.

WE WERE VERY IMPRESSED WITH STACEY AND SHELLEY WHO HELPED US OUT. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL WHEN THEY CAME OUT TO GIVE US AN ESTIMATE. THEIR ESTIMATE WAS SIMILAR TO OTHERS WE HAD RECEIVED BUT WE APPRECIATED THE FACT THAT THEY DIDN'T CONTINUALLY TRY TO SELL US SERVICES WE WERE NOT INTERESTED IN (AS OTHER COMPANIES HAD TRIED TO DO) AND THAT THEY OFFERED TO INCLUDE INSTALLING AND LEVELING PAVER BASE MATERIAL I NEEDED FOR AN ADJOINING SIDEWALK IN THEIR ESTIMATE. THIS SAVED ME A TON OF WORK AND WAS VERY MUCH APPRECIATED. EVEN WITH THE ADDITIONAL BASE MATERIAL, THEY WERE STILL THE MOST COMPETITIVE BID WE RECEIVED. THROUGHOUT THE INSTALLATION PROCESS, THEY COMMUNICATED CLEARLY AND OFTEN WITH US, THEIR WORK CREWS WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL AND THE FINAL PRODUCT THEY INSTALLED GREATLY EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS. I HAVE NO QUALMS ABOUT RECOMMENDING THEM AT ALL. THANK YOU!

WE HAD ESTIMATES FROM 2 DIFFERENT COMPANIES AND WENT WITH THE OTHER COMPANY. THE ESTIMATOR MADE A MISTAKE WHEN SHE CAME OUT AND GAVE A REALLY HIGH ESTIMATE WHICH SHE BROUGHT DOWN A WEEK LATER BUT BY THEN WE HAD CHOSEN THE OTHER COMPANY.

WE ARE VERY PLEASED WITH THE OVERALL QUALITY OF THE JOB. SHELLY AND GARY WERE A PLEASURE TO WORK WITH. THEY KEPT ME INFORMED AND DID A GREAT JOB.

THE WORKERS WERE VERY POLITE AND, AS WE WATCHED THEM WORK, THEY ALL SEEMED TO TAKE GREAT CARE IN WHAT THEY DID. THE OVERALL WORK SEEMED EXCELLENT. DRAINAGE WAS A CONCERN BUT THEY GOT IT CORRECT ON BOTH DRIVEWAYS. WE ONLY HAVE A COUPLE PROBLEMS WITH THE FINAL RESULT: ONE SIDE OF ONE OF THE DRIVEWAYS IS SOFTER THAN THE REST OF THE DRIVEWAY SO WHEN WE PARK A CAR, TWO OF THE TIRES LEAVE INDENTS IN THE ASPHALT. THE EDGE IS SOFT ENOUGH THAT WHEN YOU STEP ON IT IT CRUMBLES. ALSO, THERE ARE TWO BOOT IMPRINTS IN THE DRIVEWAY RIGHT NEXT TO OUR DOOR FROM INSTALLATION. IT RAINED HARD THE NIGHT AFTER INSTALLATION AND I NOTICED A PUDDLE ABOUT 4FT IN DIAMETER NEXT TO THE DOOR. HOWEVER, THE FINAL RESULTS AREN'T BAD, AND THE OVERFLOW DRAINS CORRECTLY.

EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE AND QUALITY. OUR HOUSE WAS GOING ON THE MARKET VERY QUICKLY, AND THEY MANAGED TO FIT US IN ALMOST IMMEDIATELY. THE CREW COMPLETED THE ENTIRE JOB WITHIN JUST A FEW HOURS. ABSOLUTE PLEASURE TO WORK WITH AND WOULD HIRE AGAIN IN A HEARTBEAT.
