They did a good job, were nice to work with and the quality of their painting was good.

While the final outcome was satisfactory, there were several problems with Durahome: -I have good reason to think they subbed out my job for a fraction of what I paid for it. I’m not sure that the guys form Durahome knew enough about painting to understand the prep requirements for aluminum siding. -The sub did not know that we had aluminum siding that was severely chalking (to the point where no paint would have ever stuck) and needed a thorough cleaning. Coming home after they “washed” the house (which took about 10 minutes according to my wife) the house I ran my hand across the siding and found they removed almost none of the chalking. I had to wrestle with them for 3-4 days to ensure that the house was cleaned properly prior to painting. -When searching for a painter make sure to hire someone that, actually, does the painting—not a slick salesman, high overhead, outfit that subs your job out for ¼ the cost you paid. I think it worked out, but only due to my close watch. Had I not been home or able to babysit, I am sure that my paint would be peeling, already. I feel like I overpaid, greatly, for the quality I received.

Basically, wonderful! These painters are truly professionals---Justin, Enos, Joe and Vinny and the others were efficient and knowledgeable. They worked quickly and got the job done, they expertly handled any problem areas without complaint. I felt comfortable leaving them inside my home while I was at work. I am very pleased with the outcome. Beautiful job---I will have them back for any other painting needs. Hire them!!

Not well. Work scheduled for early May was started mid-July that negatively affected my garden. Most work crews had no one who spoke English. Never came when scheduled. Much work done after dark. Work on house okay that done on garage poor. They were very frustrating and difficult. Very poor communication overall. I hate to complain and have never har trouble with companies working on my house before but this almost became a neighborhood joke.

We sent the following via email when the project was complete and they requested a review...we received no response...pay a bit more and go with someone else. Durahome Painting Plus Poor - needs a lot of improvement 1. From the beginning there was a lot of confusion regarding the quality of paint we purchased and who was in charge of obtaining the paint - none of my emails to the sales rep were passed on to the team completing the work 2. Project manager stopped over numerous times unannounced - then we hear he was no longer part of the project from the painter 3. Scraping prior to painting was unacceptable. There is still a ton of peeling paint all over our garage. 4. Paint has had time to settle and there are streaks from application all over the garage... 5. Painter mentioned there may be some areas he didn't fully scrape but paint would hold it down for multiple years...the paint is already coming up. We are disappointed. We knew our wood was old and it wasnt going to look PERFECT...but we were promised a good scraping and quality paint that would last (especially because of the paint upgrade we opted for). Durahome Painting Plus did not provide either.

Trevor came out and looked at what needed to get done, and promised to return with a quote for two different painting scenarios. He never returned with a quote, and hasn't responded to follow up emails.

Contacted Durahome because I found them on Angie's List. Sent out Dominic to provide an estimate on the project. Dominic was on time, provided an estimate quickly and within our budget so we hired Durahome for our project. We were told that we could have a free 90 minute color consultation with Sherwin Williams so we did have them come to our house to help decide on colors which worked out extremely well and was greatly appreciated. A short time after that we had been contacted by Taylor to advise us that our project manager "Nick" would be in touch with us in regards to our project and that he should be the main point of contact throughout the project. It was agreed upon with Nick that he would start the project on December 12, so we of course prepared our house to make things as easy as possible by taking everything off the walls and moving all of the furniture to the center of the rooms on Tuesday the 11th. We were contacted by Nick on the early morning of the 12th by text indicating that he was not going to make it to our house that day. On the 13th, Nick arrived in the morning so that I could go over the colors with him and let him know which colors were going where. I arrived back home on the 13th around 5:00 pm and Nick was gone and I checked the work that had been done and was not happy with either the quality or the amount of progress that had been made. There was an area that had a large dent where a door knob had gone into the wall as well as above our entry door where I had removed an alarm sensor leaving an approximate 1/2" hole from removing the wall anchor as well as an outline of where the previous painting had been done around it. It obviously required patching and sanding and instead had just been painted over in both spots. There was also a crack that instead of patching, he had just tried to fill in with paint and again, obviously needed patching and sanding. It just so happened I had another issue going on in the home that morning so I spoke with Nick when he arrived and pointed out those areas and that I needed those fixed up and not just painted over. I then went downstairs to deal with another issue and when I came back up, his truck was gone. I then left for work assuming he went to get additional supplies. About an hour later I checked my home cameras and he was still not back. I checked at the 2 hour and 3 hour mark and he was still not back to the house. Knowing that I had left my house open so he could get back in and with no one else home, I returned to the home to lock it up and when I got back, realized that he had taken all of his equipment from the house. Instead of telling me in person, by phone, by text, or whatever, he just up and quit the job without saying anything. I contacted Taylor by phone and advised her of what was going on and she said she would reach out to Nick and the owner Cody to find out what was going on. Some time went by without hearing so I contacted Taylor who provided me with Cody's number and I was able to contact him and advise him about what was going on. Cody was very receptive to the issue and even though it was already later on Friday, said he would see if he could get someone else out there yet that day. Cody contacted me and let me know that he was not able to line someone up for the rest of Friday but that he had a crew for Saturday lined up and gave me his contact information. On Friday night, I was contacted by Xavier and he said they would be there the next morning. Xavier and Mike showed up the next morning and were able to see immediately the issues I had with Nick's job and said that they would make it right and get things done. I let them get to work which was probably a little before noon as I told them we were all out to a Christmas party and wouldn't be home until late. I go back around 8:30 - 9:00 pm and they were still working hard. Xavier and Mike were both trying to get the job done that night and stayed working until just after midnight before deciding that there was still to much to do to get done that night. They left and came back the next day after getting more paint and again worked hard to get things done the right way. I let them both know how much I appreciated the work they had done and the dedication and that I was actually glad that things did not work out with Nick as I feel certain that his work would not have been near as good as both Xavier and Mike's. They both worked about another 7 hours on Sunday just to get the job done that had been thrown in their lap because because Nick just walked off the job. While the project started out extremely bad, Taylor, Cody, and the painters Xavier and Mike, all got the project turned around for me and myself and my wife were extremely happy with the end result. The hard work and last minute change that Xavier and Mike did was top notch work. I would recommend Durahome to anyone else even though the initial start did not go well, Cody (the owner) got everything turned around quickly and took care of us.

Went Fine. Did everything they said they would do. They did a good job!

Durahome called and was at my house within 3 days. They did a great job patching up the rough walls we had in our hallway and made sure everything looked great before finishing. All in all they were in and out of our house within 1.5 days.

It went well! There was a little issue with the color of the paint, but they fixed that and did a nice job.

They were a new company when I first used them, but they were like a seasoned experienced company. Everything was done to my satisfaction!
