Pat has over 30 years in the field, or actually fields as he does a lot of home repair/appliance/rehabbing work. He was knowledgeable, friendly and competent.

Pat went above and beyond by doing a little research about our appliance before coming out to our house and also advising us over the phone before we actually booked him. He genuinely wanted to help us solve the problem.

Listened to my description of the issue, acquired the right parts, installed them, and everything works great. What more can you ask for?

This is a one man business. He may know about other things because I did read some good reviews but he doesn't know anything about repairing a washing machine. He was confused about what the problem was and forced the machine to run even with a terrible grinding noise and the smell of burning rubber. At some point everything quit working and he suggested it was time for a new washing machine. Finally he determined it needed a pump replaced but in the process of testing the machine he broke the timer. At one point I thought he had burned up the motor. He replaced the timer and although he tried to convince me it could fail at any time, I knew he broke it because it was working fine when he came. But after turning the knob clockwise and counter clockwise without pushing the knob in (disengages pins and gears which advance the wash cycles) it broke. I told him I would not pay for a part he broke. In the end, when he was finished, the timer knob was offset from the actual wash cycle. The arrow pointing to what part of the wash cycle it was in did not match the wording around the dial. I had to turn the arrow midway to the previous cycle to get the machine to complete a whole wash cycle. I was convinced it was an alignment problem but he said it was a defective timer. He said he would get a new part and call me but a week went by and no call. I finally got someone else in who aligned the timer arrow to match the wash cycle with the wording around the dial. Do not let this person near your washing machine!

Dun-Rite was responsive & quickly addressed our need (installation of a new in-sink garbage disposal). The service visit was completed in less than 30 minutes.

Pat was tenacious at problem solving and fixing several components in our Capital range. He made 4 visits to replace 3 different parts, and he didn't quit until the problems were corrected.

Pat responded right away on a Sunday morning. He did quality work and was very prompt. I will recommend him to all my friends. His prices are very reasonable. Home advisor adds a 24 dollar fee which isn't listed on the web site.
