snow removal
+ -1 moreI am in a new house and discovered, after the first plow, that a using a truck was not going to work well on my driveway. I had signed a year long contract and paid half down. They were polite when I called to cancel and refunded me all but the cost of one plow. I appreciated the way they handled it.

+ 1 moreWe hired Dougherty to mow our lawn and do lawn maintenance. From the beginning there were problems; they didn't show up when they said they would, didn't cut the grass as short as we wanted (turned out they weren't cutting it at all, their dull blades were just bending the grass over, not cutting it). They kept mowing to close to our raspberry bushes even after being asked to be careful and cut 3 off the bushes off. We asked them to clean up the yard and apply weed killer and grass seed and they just tossed the seed on top of the hard soil so it never grew. We finally got fed up and fired them.

snow removal
+ -1 moreI have used their services for the past two winters. They do not clear the snow by the mailbox so I worry about the postal person but other than that they are a great company to hire. They are very easy to get ahold of and are very prompt when the snow falls. Excellent customer service.
Description of Work: Annual snow removal service for $60/month. They clear the driveway and shovel the walkway. They are always early and always do a great job.

Description of Work: Weekly lawn mowing, price quoted was for a month I don't recall the per trip price. They came out for an estimate the day after I called and was even there that day to mow the lawn. Very professional and courteous. I am now going to hire them for snow removal.
