This is the worst experience we ever had with any person we hired to work in our home over the course of 40+ years. Highly recommend NOT hiring this person!
Description of Work: The only thing this experienced 30 year tile setter did well was remove our old ceramic tile floor. He and his helper each worked a maximum of 22 hours over the course of eight days. We paid him $1,500.00 so he could buy materials and all we got was our old tile removed and 120 square feet of porcelain tile ( he had not laid it yet). We fired him on the 8th day, and had to pay another tile person to REMOVE the pathways of work Mr. McEachran did so very poorly. We couldn't even vacuum the tiles he set, because they were so uneven (not flat), the floor brush would literally STOP at numerous grout lines. The materials he used were of very poor quality, and many things were done incorrectly. When the provider learned we were firing him he said "Oh". Seemed like it had happened to him many times before!
