DON'S SMALL ENGINE & ATV SERVICE INC

We brought our snow blower in in April to be repaired. A couple months later, we called to check on the repair - they had not gotten to it, but said that they would soon. On August 16th, my husband went to the shop to check on the snow blower. Don's Small Engine Repair shop was closed, but saw that our snow blower was in the back lot, where there was no cover. Our snow blower had been sitting out in the snow, rain, hail, and sun for FOUR months. He said that he would "pull it out and have it ready in a couple days." I was mad. It's been four months and he hasn't even started to repair our snowblower. I called back and left a message on his answering machine, reminding him that it was a new snow blower, and when it was handed in his care, the snow blower should have been stored in a covered lot, because the weather can damage the snow blower (rust, paint fading, etc). I wonder if any of the snow blower owners know about the care that their snow blowers are given. I believe that when something is brought it, it should be worked on in the order that it was received. On August 25th I called and left a message since no one picked up the phone. Ben from Don's Small Engine Repair called back about 2 hours later to tell me that they aren't going to work on the snow blower and that we need to pick it up and have it repaired somewhere else. We picked our snow blower up and brought it elsewhere. The snow blower is covered in rust. When I pointed out all the rust to the guy at Don's Small Engine Repair, he said, "sue me."

I was very satisfied with the ease for getting this repaired. The cost of the pickup/delivery was $60, a price I was willing to pay for the service. They made it simple to arrange everything and I never had to be at home from work or stop in the shop.
