Our dish was close to the road and with all the snow the plow truck plowed snow over the top of the dish and broke the pole and dish. All it took was one call and they responded the next day at the time they stated. The technician was punctual and professional and also recommended and installed a wireless device that keeps our satellite box updated. Had Direct TV before and would never switch back.

Quick service and friendly installer.

I was irritated by the way they didn't seem to have any communication within the departments there. Cust service agents seemed lackluster and not properly trained. Will stick with a different provider for a while. I like the deals you get when you first sign up, but it's not worth the trouble of dealing with people who aren't responding to your needs.

The previous family in this house had used Dish so we bought it when we moved into the house. We have basic service and I will use them again in the future.

bad experience

I set up an appointment to get satellite service installed. They did not show up on the day 1st agreed upon because the scheduler overbooked which was VERY inconvenient because I took a day off of work. They did, however, agree to come on a Saturday so I would not have to miss more work. The installation went smoothly. Once it was installed, we couldn't be happier. We are getting way more channels and DVR capability for a lot less money then we were paying for cable.

They were good. They showed up on time.

Dish Network was very processional in installing the dish. The installer even took the time to hide the cable wherever we could, and was apologetic when a short piece had to be exposed. He took the extra time to bury the cable in our landscaping rock, and didn't even mind that our three year old sat there and watched him the whole time. We had the same good experience when they installed the dish on our previous house.

My overall service with Dish Network has been positive. Customer Service Reps who answer phones are helpful and pleasant. They try to solve problems or know who to get on the phone who can. Any negative issues I have are limited only due to equipment and not Dish service. Since we own our receiving equipment, we have had trouble finding dish equipment to match. It is older and we are always told to upgrade for better service, but rental is expensive and we are not yet ready to go Hi-Def. At that point we will need all new everything (TV, dish, receiver). Another limitation is that since we are cell phone only (no land line) we are unable to use the pay-per-view options, since those require land lines to order. Overall, we continue to be satisfied.
